Eastern Asia Daily (Korea) Reports on Organ Harvesting

Aug. 20, 2006

(Clearwisdom.net) On August 17, large Korean newspaper Eastern Asia Daily reported on the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) atrocities of harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners. The report said that two organ-removed corps of Falun Gong practitioners were recently found in China.

The report said that people didn't know the discovery of two lost practitioners' bodies till recently. Major organs including eyeballs and kidneys were removed and the bodies were discarded in a mountain. This news received a lot attention as recently oversea medias have continuous reported on allegations that the CCP regime is harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners.

At the end of April, in a desolated area of Jinggang Mountain in Jiangxi Province, bodies of retired teacher Keshu Fu and her nephew Genli Xu were found. The minghui.ca which reports heavily on the persecution of Flaun Gong and NTDTV which is run by oversea Chinese reported this news respectively on July 12.

Reportedly, traces of stitching were found in the two's bodies' chests and stomachs. The bodies had no eyeballs and hairs were shaved. Family members said that the two were arrested when they were distributing Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials and then persecuted to death. Though the family members requested for official investigation, public security officials declined the request claiming that it was a suicide.

Dr. Su JianChao who is investigating this case said that the organs were removed when they were still alive.

Last month, BBC reported that a Canadian human rights' groups' stand on the organ harvesting allegation:

Former senior Canadian MP David Kilgour and respected human rights lawyer David Matas released a report titled "Report into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China".
