1. [Benxi County, Liaoning Province] Wu Baoguo Persecuted to the Point of Near Death
Mr. Wu Baoguo, 41, lives in Xiguo Brigade, Hekou Township, Benxi County, Liaoning Province. On September 17, 2004, police from the Caohekou Township Police Station arrested Wu Baoguo and took him to the Benxi County Detention Center. He was detained for more than twenty days and then taken to the Weiningying Reformatory Center. He was then sentenced to three years of forced labor. He has become emaciated and critically ill due to the torture he has suffered. In February 2006, police took him to a mental hospital, where he was detained for more than one month. He can no longer take care of himself and is on the verge of death.
2. [Diaobingshan City, Liaoning Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Su Fengqin Persecuted
Ms. Su Fengqin is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Diaobingshan City, Liaoning Province. In September 2005, the Qingyuan County National Security Brigade arrested her when she was distributing truth-clarification material in Fushan City. She was sentenced to five years in prison and detained in the Qingyuan County Detention Center. Because of the inhuman persecution, she now suffers from high blood pressure. On August 2, 2006, Ms. Su went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. She was force-fed and is now in critical condition.
3. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] National Security Agent Arrests Dafa Practitioner Yu Yaqin
On August 8, 2006, plainclothes police from the National Security Brigade arrested Dafa practitioner Ms. Yu Yaqin for giving truth-clarifying material to a watermelon vendor. He took her to the Longnan Branch Station in Daqing City. Police ransacked her home and confiscated Dafa books and truth-clarifying material.
4. [Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Sun Yisan Persecuted
On the afternoon of March 16, 2006, police from the Mishan City National Security Brigade broke into Dafa practitioner Mr. Sun Yisan's home without a search warrant. They ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Dafa books and other material. That same day, they took Mr. Sun to the Mishan Public Security Bureau for interrogation. They tried to extract a confession through torture. They deprived him of sleep and are going to sentence him illegally.

5. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Chen Suqin Arrested Illegally
On August 4, 2006, police from the Xijia Police Station at Longgang Section, Huludao City, arrested Ms. Chen Suqin after she was reported for distributing truth-clarifying material. She is now detained at Huludao City Detention Center.
6. [Tumen City, Jilin Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Zhang Qiulan and Zhou Guilan Arrested
On August 7, 2006, police from Yuegong Police Station and Tumen City National Security Brigade arrested Tumen City Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Qiulan, and Ms. Zhou Guilan, both in their 60s, while Ms. Zhang was visiting Ms. Zhou at Yuegong Street. Police also ransacked Ms. Zhou's home and confiscated Falun Dafa books. Both of them are detained in Tumen City Detention Center.

8. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Three Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested
On the evening of August 8, 2006, police from the Songhua Township Police Station arrested Dafa practitioners Ms. Lu Yafang, Ms. Zhou Shuzia, and Ms. Yan Shujie, all from Songhuajiang Township, Dehui City, as someone reported them for producing truth-clarifying material. They are detained at the Songhuajiang Police Station.

9. [Haerbin City, Heilongjiang Province] More than Twenty Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested
Between 3 and 4 p.m. on August 10, 2006, police from the Dongli Branch Bureau and the Haxi Police Station arrested more than twenty Falun Dafa practitioners as they were leaving an experience sharing meeting. Police had lain in wait for them.
10. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Tian Genghai Persecuted
Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Tian Genghai was arrested and imprisoned at Dalina Wafangdian Prison. On August 10, 2006, Mr. Tian's aunt was turned away when she tried to visit him. The guard claimed that Mr. Tian was ill and couldn't accept visitors.

11. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Liu Yongwang and Wei Haiwu Persecuted
Since August 2005, Mr. Liu Yongwang and Mr. Wei Haiwu from Baoding City, Hebei Province are being persecuted at a detention center. On June 16, 2006, they were taken to Tangshan Jidong Prison. On May 24, 2006, Mr. Liu Yongwang went on hunger strike. Mr. Liu has been on hunger strike for more than two months now and has grown extremely weak. His weight has dropped from 140 to 80 kilograms.
12. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Zhang Xiaoli Illegally Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
Ms. Zhang Xiaoli, 43, is a teacher from Nanwang Village, Donglu Township, Qingyuan County, Baoding City. She was illegally sentenced to a three-year prison term and imprisoned at the Baoding Forced Labor Camp.
13. [Jiujiang City, Gangsu Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Ge Ling Arrested Illegally
Ms. Ge Ling, over 60 years old, is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Yongxiu County, Jiujiang City. Police at the Majialong Forced Labor Camp ordered drug addicts to beat her cruelly. Her front teeth were knocked out.

On the evening of July 20, 2006, police from Xicheng Zhanlanlu Police Station arrested Ms. Ping Xianling, over 60 years old, from Zhongguan Village, Haiding Area, Beijing.
15. [Gongyi, Henan Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Niu Chunfen Arrested
On June 6, 2006, police from the Gongyi Nanhedu Police Station arrested Ms. Niu Chunfen, 43, from Gongyi, Henan Province. She was reported to have written, "Falun Dafa is good" on the currency. She is now held at a detention center.

On the morning of August 3, 2006, police from the Liangshan Beiqu Police Station arrested Ms. Chen Xiulian and Ms. Qiao Yulan. Someone had reported them for clarifying the truth. They are detained at Liangshan Detention Center.

17. [Tianjin City] Falun Dafa Practitioner Wang Lanrong Arrested
On August 2, 2006, police from the Hedong area National Security Branch Brigade and the Zhongshanmen Police Station arrested Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Lanrong. She is detained at the Tianjin Hongqiao Branch Detention Center. Police also ransacked her home and confiscated her daughter's computer.
18. [Tianjin City] Three Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested
On July 19, 2006, Dafa practitioner Ms. Gao from the Hexi area was arrested for distributing truth-clarifying material.
On the afternoon of July 20, police arrested Ms. Zhang in her home in the Hexi area and confiscated a computer.
On the morning of July 22, police arrested Mr. Zhang Enjian from the Hedong area.

Veteran officials from the Beijing Reform Bureau arrested more than twenty Dafa practitioners, who have family members detained at Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp. They are being subjected to forced re-education.

On August 2, 2006, police arrested Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Youfu from Baiyin City, Gansu Province for distributing truth-clarification material. Her whereabouts are unknown.
22. [Liangshanzhou, Sichuan Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Li Tianhua Arrested
On August 3, 2006, police from the Liangshanzhou Huili County National Security Brigade arrested Dafa practitioners Ms. Li Tianhua and Mr. Dong Jiahe. They are detained at the Huili Detention Center.
23. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Zhang Qunying Arrested
Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Qunying from the Chenghua area, Chengdu City was illegally detained several times. In February 2006, she was arrested again while clarifying the truth at Shenfang and was detained for four days. She was taken to the Chengdu City Changtian Police Station for further persecution.
24. [Beihai City, Guangxi Province] Persecution Suffered by Falun Dafa Practitioner Wang Hewei
Mr. Wang Hewei, 36, is a Dafa practitioner from Yintan Township, Yinhai Section, Beihai City, Guangxi Province. Since July 20, 1999, Mr. Wang Hewei has been arrested four times. His home was ransacked and Falun Dafa materials, including a dozen Dafa books and exercise tapes, were confiscated.
In March 2000, police from the Longtan Police Station arrested Mr. Wang Hewei and detained him for 15 days. He was again detained for 15 days in July. In December 2000, Mr. Wang was taken to a brainwashing center held in Quwan County. In 2001, he was forced to attend a brainwashing session held by the Longtan Village Administrative Office. In October 2002, Mr. Wang was illegally detained for 15 days.
25. [Yunfu, Guangdong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Lai Zhenxian’s Detention Extended and His Wife Li Shaozhen Taken to a Forced Labor Camp
On February 27, 2003, Dafa practitioner Mr. Lai Zhenxian from Yunfu, Guangdong Province was arrested and sentenced to three years of forced labor. He has been imprisoned at the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp and his detention was illegally extended for more than five months. His wife Li Shaozhen was sentenced to two years of forced labor and she is imprisoned at the Sanshui Women Education Camp.
26. [Yuxi City, Yunnan Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Deng Cuiping Persecuted
On May 5, 2006, Dafa practitioners Ms. Deng Cuiping, Ms. Hua Lanxian, and Ms.Gu Liqing were reported for distributing truth-clarifying material at the Beicheng County, Hongta Section. Police from the Hongta region National Security Brigade in Yuxi City arrested them. They are imprisoned at the Hongta Detention Center in Eshan.
27. [Guangzhou, Guangdong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Chen Jian still Detained
On September 11, 2005, police arrested Dafa practitioner Mr. Chen Jian and broke into his home and ransacked it. He is imprisoned at the Tianpingjia Yuexiu District Detention Center in Guangzhou City.
28. [Tongyuanbao, Liaoning Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Wang Jurong and Yu Li Illegally Sentenced to Forced Labor
On July 15, 2006, police arrested Dafa practitioners Mr. Wang Jurong and Ms. Yu Li for making truth-clarification materials. They were taken to the Fengcheng City Detention Center and detained for 15 days. They were sentenced to one year and two months of forced labor.
