In a Few Words: About Falun Dafa Practitioners' Responsibility

Aug. 6, 2006

(Clearwisdom.net) I hear many practitioners say they feel very gratified and happy doing Dafa work; however, some fellow practitioners are very reluctant to do even a little Dafa work, as if it is doing something for others. Then what is the idea behind these mentalities? Isn't it an intentional pursuit? Speaking from another angle, is it that we are still doing things for others but not for ourselves, or do we feel that as Dafa practitioners we should just do these things? Then doesn't this show that those fellow practitioners who have this idea or understanding are still putting themselves outside Dafa? Deep in their hearts they have not achieved assimilation with Dafa as one body.

For instance: your hand or foot has a wound, you wrap up the wound, and you will not feel that you have made a contribution to yourself and thus feel gratified or happy. Won't you feel even less that you have sacrificed for yourself? If it is some matter that falls into your responsibility, after completing it, will you have the so-called gratified feeling that comes after doing something for others?

Today, as Falun Dafa practitioners, what we do today are simply our responsibilities.
