Ms. Wang Shuijiao, 53, lives in Huangmei County, Hubei Province. She began practicing Falun Dafa in 1999. Ms. Wang and her husband, also a practitioner, went to Caoshan Township to distribute truth-clarification materials on the evening of November 23, 2001 but were reported to the police. Yin Xiaofeng, a local police officer, took Ms. Wang to the police station, where six people beat her. The next day, Yin Xiaofeng attempted to coerce Ms. Wang into revealing the source of the truth-clarification materials. She refused to cooperate with him. He beat her until her body was covered in bruises. Ms. Wang was later sent to the county detention center and was held there for two months. Her husband paid the authorities 11,000 yuan before she was released.

Later, on June 8, 2003, six practitioners, including Ms. Wang Shuijiao, went to Susong County to clarify the truth and distribute truth-clarification materials. Ms. Wang was arrested.

The police found Falun Dafa books at Ms. Wang’s home in July 2004 and took her to a detention center. She went on a hunger strike while there, but the lawless officials force-fed her three times. Her hunger strike lasted 13 days. Her husband paid another 11,000 yuan for her release.
