Germany: Before the Hamburg Summit Practitioners Call on Germany to Condemn the Chinese Communist Party's Organ Harvesting from Living Practitioners

Sept. 8, 2006

(Clearwisdom.net) The Second Annual Hamburg Summit will be held on September 13. The Prime Minister of the Chinese Communist regime, Wen Jiabao, will attend the meeting. Falun Gong practitioners in Germany call for a focus on the human rights situation in China.

RFA reported on September 4 that Falun Gong practitioners from Hamburg and nearby areas have staged a series of events for the Summit since mid-August to call on the German people to pay attention to human rights in China.

The reporter interviewed Ms. Jiang Ling, a German practitioner about this Summit and practitioners' activities.

Ms. Jiang said, "The Hamburg Summit of 2006 and China Day, as well as a series of events will be held soon. Many high level political and economic figures will attend the summit. Wen Jiabao and other Chinese delegates will be in Hamburg on September 13 and 14. We plan to express our views with a series of events.

"We call on the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to stop the persecution against Falun Gong. We also hope German authorities will pay close attention to CCP's persecution against Falun Gong practitioners, and publicly condemn the CCP's atrocity of live organ harvesting. We also call on the CCP to release attorney Gao Zhisheng, who has been defending Falun Gong in China."
