(Clearwisdom.net) In April 2006, my sister-in-law did not feel well and her breasts hurt. Several consultations later the diagnosis was confirmed that she had breast cancer and needed an operation. On May 23, she had an operation in a local hospital. One of her breasts was removed. She returned home after a month-long-hospitalization.
On an August day, I received a call unexpectedly from my second sister. She said that my sister-in-law was once again hospitalized and was dying. "Wasn't it true that she returned home after the operation and she recovered?" I asked. "A tumor in her other breast is growing and she is undergoing chemotherapy. You better go to visit her. Otherwise you might never be able to see her again. Her family is preparing for her funeral now," she replied. She also said that a friend of hers who worked in a hospital told her that such an illness could not be cured, and if she continued to stay in the hospital, her life would be doomed and her family's savings exhausted. Everyone in her family knew the outcome, but nobody wanted to think about it.
On the evening of August 10, I was trying to decide if I should go. While I had clarified the truth to them many times, and she understood Dafa the best among all my sisters-in-law, she dared not accept it out of her fear of persecution. Besides, my brothers did not believe in Dafa at all. I could not sleep well the whole night. The next morning, I recollected the words "Teacher has the divine power" while reading the Fa. Indeed, Teacher has the divine power, but it is up to his disciples to take action. I suddenly understood that Teacher was giving me a hint. Quickly I packed up, picked up a few truth-clarification pamphlets, and got on the long-distance bus to the county hospital.
Because of the chemotherapy, my sister-in-law was completely bald. She could not open her mouth or speak,or eat. Grabbing her hands, I said, "If you whole-heartedly recite silently 'Falun Dafa is good and Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is good,' you will get better." She nodded. Again I told her, "Once you get out of the hospital, you ought to practice Falun Dafa!" Once again she nodded. I told all the family members to repeat silently the same words and asked my brother to remind his wife. He replied that his wife's throat was too swollen to read. "In fact, she can't eat," he said. In the past three weeks, she had only been able to drink a few cups of water. When he asked the doctors for help, they said they would not be able to help, either. I told him that now only Falun Dafa could save her. "Does this really work?" he questioned. "As long as you believe it, benevolent Dafa and Dafa's Teacher will take care of her," I answered. He was still suspicious, though. I said, "Isn't that as simple as reading silently a few words? You don't spend a penny or burn any joss sticks. Without even using any of your energy, all you need to do is to wholeheartedly read silently. Why do you still hesitate? Just give it a try. It'll be very effective." Then he promised to remind her to silently repeat the words. I added, "You must also repeat them silently, for her! You must do it." After he promised to, I left the hospital and returned home.
After getting home, I sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil spirits and rotten minions behind my sister-in-law and her family that tried to prevent sentient beings from being saved and to request Teacher to strengthen me in doing so. As soon as I calmed down, I saw clusters of neither black nor white unhealthy qi many times larger than my sister-in-law being eliminated from her body. I was so moved that tears filled my eyes. I knew Teacher was taking care of her. "Could you do that yourself? No, you can’t. The master is the one who arranges these things, it’s the master who does it. That’s why we say, "Cultivation is up to you, gong is up to the master." (Zhuan Falun) All that you have is that goal, that thought, but it’s really the master who takes care of it.
My sister-in-law repeated silently "Falun Dafa is good and Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is good." Her sisters and my brother's family all helped recite them. One night she said that she dreamed of one person telling her loudly, "You're fine now. Why are you still lying in the hospital? Don't you realize how much it costs to sleep here?" She said to him, "But I cannot even eat?" "You're fine now. Go home," he said. Hearing this, she took a deep breath, which felt like a soothing breeze penetrating into her heart. She quickly rose up and shouted, "I'm fine now. I want to go home!" Her husband and two sisters were all woken up.
Since then, she has gradually recovered, and in fact, she left the hospital within five days or so.
Later I explained to her that Teacher gave her a hint in the form of a dream. This meant Teacher was taking care of her. I also reminded her that Teacher said in Zhuan Falun,
"The root of your health problem has been plucked out now, and only that little bit of black qi is left, coming out on its own, so that you have a little hardship and go through some difficulty. If you didn’t bear anything it really wouldn’t work."
Nodding her head, she said, "I'm already very late in practicing Dafa. I must catch up."
On September 23, when I returned to my hometown once again, my sister-in-law, who is illiterate, was watching the videotape of Teacher's lectures in Dalian City. In fact, she had already watched it twice, and that was her third time. "Only after listening to Teacher's lectures did I understand that what the government said and did were all contrary to the truth. There is nothing wrong with Falun Gong. In fact, Falun Gong teaches us to be good people," she said to me.
On the morning of October 10, my sister-in-law went to another elderly practitioner's home. The practitioners were studying the Fa, so she joined them. Before she came to study the Fa the next day, she told me that there were a few lumps on her breast again. She did not feel well and was worried. "You're now a practitioner. Teacher is cleansing your body," I explained to her. As Teacher said,
"I’m not going to talk about doing healing here. We don’t do healing. But if you want to do true cultivation, and you’ve come here with an ailing body, then you can’t cultivate yet. So I have to purify your body. I only purify the body for people who’ve truly come here to learn the practice, who truly come to learn the Law."
Nodding her head, she said that yesterday after she finished Fa-study, she went to bed. When she woke up, she touched her breast, only to find that the lumps were gone. She told the story to her husband (my brother). It was he who asked her to come to study the Fa. Apparently my brother truly believed it this time, because he witnessed Dafa's miraculous effects from his own wife.
Not only the family members of my brother and my sister-in-law, but also their neighbors and everyone in the village all witnessed the wonder of Dafa and the good fortune that Dafa brought to those who practice and support it.
