South Africa: First Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference Successfully Held

Jan. 30, 2007 |   By a Falun Dafa practitioner in South Africa

(Clearwisdom.net) The First Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference was held in Durban, South Africa on January 28, 2007. Falun Dafa practitioners from Durban, Cape Town, and Johannesburg attended the conference. Eight practitioners made speeches to share their cultivation experiences and understanding.

The first speaker was practitioner Jie, who talked about how South Africa practitioners have kept up with the process of Fa-rectification, introduced the Fa, and clarified the truth. He also made some suggestions on how to better clarify the truth in South Africa. He especially emphasized the importance of Fa-study and righteous thoughts and righteous action from the problems he encountered in his personal cultivation.

Linda, who has practiced Falun Dafa for about a year or so, talked about tribulations she had gone through at the beginning when she started practicing cultivation, and how she overcame interference and improved her xinxing through Fa-study.

Wendy, who started practicing Falun Dafa in 2001, shared how she changed herself to harmonize her family, how she changed her husband's wrong understanding of Falun Dafa through truth clarification, and how her husband became her good assistant in introducing Falun Dafa.

Gavin and Tony shared how they solved problems in daily life and work following the standard for Dafa disciples, and their experience of introducing Falun Dafa to the public.

Susan talked about how her attachments were exposed through doing Fa-validation work.

There were some difficulties while we were preparing for the Fa conference, for example, the rented venue was temporarily unable. With powerful righteous thoughts, the seemingly difficult thing turned out to be resolved successfully. Practitioners deeply felt that so long as our hearts are on the Fa, any difficulties amid cultivation can help us improve.
