(Clearwisdom.net) I started practicing Falun Gong in early 1999. On July 20, 1999, the persecution started. Suddenly I did not know what to do: "Such a good practice, why don't they let us practice? The CCP had previously declared on national television that they would not interfere with people practicing qigong. Why within days did they change their minds? Why did they change so quickly?" Although I did not know what the real reason for this persecution was, I made up my mind: "No matter what happens, I will firmly believe in Master and believe in Dafa. Nobody can change my cultivation path."

On July 21, 1999, the head of my company had a conversation with me, "Can you just practice at home? Nobody knows what is going on. There are orders from above that nobody is allowed to practice Falun Gong. For the sake of our own job security we had no choice but to have a talk with you." Later, our office director came to me and asked, "Do you still practice Falun Gong?" I said, "Yes, I do. It would be dumb for me to give up such a good practice." He then half joked, "There are orders from above to report anybody that still practices Falun Gong. I will report you then." I said to him with determination, "It's up to you. Even if I am reported to the CCP Central Committee, I will still practice." He then smiled and said, "I was just kidding. I will not report you."

From then on, I have taken Zhuan Falun with me wherever I go. Whenever I have time I study the Fa. As long as I have an opportunity, I talk about Dafa to people. Everyone in my company knows that I practice Falun Gong. At that time I did not know what it meant to clarify the truth, or what righteous thoughts were. I just talked about things happening around me in relation to Falun Gong. I never thought talking about Dafa might endanger me, so I kept talking. Later on I was transferred to the front desk. I kept some truth clarification stickers and brochures with me. I often handed them to customers. After the customers had finished their business, if they still had time I then talked about how good Dafa is, how newspapers and television make up lies to deceive people, and also explained the truth about the "Tiananmen Square Self-immolation Incident."

Once, two ladies came into my office. I told them, "While I'm taking care of your business (because it took a long time to process their request), you can read up on this." When they saw I had handed them Falun Gong flyers they shouted, "Falun Gong! We heard that reporting one Falun Gong practitioner to the authorities would earn a reward of 5000 yuan." Before I had the chance to respond, my nearest coworker stood up and said to them angrily, "Go ahead and report! We all practice Falun Gong here. You want to make money out of this?" Those ladies did not say anything else. I often talked about things related to Dafa to this coworker. Sometimes I read Zhuan Falun to her as well. Although she has not walked into cultivation yet, it is precious she had this idea.

In 2001 my mother and I went to Beijing to validate Dafa. We planned to return the same day. From the moment we got off the train we put up truth clarification stickers everywhere we went. We even put them on the wall of Tiananmen Square. Although we saw many uniformed police officers and plainclothes spies, we just had one thought, "We are here to validate Dafa. Nobody can stop us." On our way back we kept putting up notices until we got to the train station and safely returned home.

Practitioners' righteous thoughts are powerful. Should our cultivation path not simply consist of determination and righteous thoughts? In other words, if every practitioner firmly believes in Master and Dafa, would the evil dare to remain even a little longer? It would have been frightened off a long time ago.

I always take truth clarification stickers with me. Whenever I get a chance I distribute them. Once I went to a restaurant for lunch. When I left the restaurant I posted the stickers as I walked from the restaurant to the street. I saw an electric pole, so my hand naturally went into my pocket to grab the stickers. Just then I turned my head unconsciously (now I know it was my divine side that did it) and saw a police car rapidly coming my way. Before the car had completely stopped, a policeman opened the door. His legs were already out of the car. I immediately thought, "This has nothing to do with me." I immediately raised my right hand and pretended I was calling for a taxi. That policeman pulled his legs into the car and drove past me. This time I deeply realized the power of righteous thoughts again.

In the past several years I felt I have walked relatively steady on my cultivation path. The managers at my workplace never gave me trouble and never asked me to write any guarantee statement. At home, my family supports me. However, in March of this year, due to my own loopholes, while helping a fellow practitioner from the Fa's perspective to deal with sickness karma, I was reported, and a fellow practitioner and I were both arrested and held at a detention center. My fellow practitioner died. That was a huge loss!

After I was arrested, although I acted righteously in the police station and the detention center, I did not dig deeply to find my loopholes. The day before this incident was reported on the Minghui/Clearwisdom website, after exchanging thoughts and experience with fellow practitioners, I had thought I was helping the fellow practitioner, but was actually trying to validate myself. I did not understand the Fa principles from the Fa's perspective.

This incident made me understand that Falun Gong practitioners should always be one body, no matter under which conditions. We should cooperate well with one another and always put Dafa first, so we can utilize the mighty power of Dafa, validate Dafa and save sentient beings. No matter where we are, we should never forget the three things a Falun Gong practitioner during the Fa-rectification period should do. We should shout, "Falun Dafa is good" as we go on our path, distribute copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and exhort people to quit the CCP. When we do it, we will be able to escape the demon's den with dignity. But Master has endured so much for us. Master's benevolence makes me realize, "When disciples have ample righteous thoughts, Master has the power to turn back the tide." ("The Master-Disciple Bond," Hong Yin II)

Now I do not dare to slack off a bit. Whenever I see people I exhort them to quit the CCP. I went from having worries at the beginning to a point where now, when I encourage people to quit the CCP, it seems just like I am chatting with them. But when I distribute truth clarification materials, I sometimes still have worries. I believe I will do better soon. "...with the master and the Fa here what is there to fear?" ("Lecture in Sydney")
