Ms. Gao Yunxia's Personal Account of the Persecution She Has Suffered

Nov. 12, 2007

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Gao Yunxia was an employee of the Changshou District Grain Bureau. The police arrested her on April 25, 2007 as she was distributing truth clarifying materials, and the Changshou District Court recently sentenced her to three years in prison. The same court had sentenced her to five years in prison in 2001.

The following is Ms. Gao's personal account of the persecution she suffered. Someone was able to get the original manuscript out of the prison.

My name is Gao Yunxia, a Falun Dafa practitioner who has been mistreated many times by agents of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the police, and the judicial system, ever since the CCP began its persecution of Falun Gong in July 1999.

In October 1999, while I was seeking information on how to go to the Appeals Office of the State Council, a police officer asked me, "Do you practice Falun Gong?" I answered, "Yes." I was immediately arrested and detained at the Changshou District Detention Center in Chongqing City for more than twenty days.

In June 2000, after my colleagues found truth clarifying materials in their desk drawers at work, someone reported me to the police. I was again arrested and detained for more than thirty days.

In December 2000, I was on a train to Beijing. The police searched my belongings, but they did not find what they were looking for. However, because I did not deny that I was a Falun Gong practitioner or deny that I was going to Beijing to validate the Fa, the police took me back to Changshou District and held me at the detention center.

While I was at the detention center, the police tortured me in several ways. They brutally force-fed me, handcuffed me in the "horseback torture" position (1) and later tortured me on a death bed. The Changshou District Court later sentenced me to five years in prison. I was then tortured at the Chongqing City Women's Prison in Honglu Town, in the Yongchuan District of Chongqing City. (This prison is now located near the Chongqing-Guizhou Highway in the Chayuan New Subdistrict of the Nan'an District of Chongqing City.)

In the Chongqing City Women's Prison, the guards did not allow me to wash or use the bathroom for almost two months because I refused to cooperate with them.

On April 25, 2007, while I was distributing truth clarifying materials, someone reported me to the police. I was arrested and held at the Changshou District Detention Center. Police officers from the State Security Division then ransacked my home and seized my personal computer, 15,000 yuan in cash, and many personal belongings.

I ask my fellow practitioners to help me sue Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Zeng Qinghong, Zhou Yongkang, and other Chinese government officials who control the police organizations and the judicial system. They must be publicly tried in an international court for their crimes of torture, genocide, and crimes against humanity.

Note:
(1) Horseback torture - In this torture, a practitioner's ankles are shackled together, then both hands are cuffed so that they are forced to stay between the knees. This forces the practitioner to walk in a severely bent position and makes sleep impossible.
