(Clearwisdom.net) To promote traditional Chinese culture, the Asian Culture Center in Philadelphia held the first "Journey to the East" Culture Festival in Philadelphia's Chinatown on November 18, 2007. Although it rained lightly, many people came to watch the dragon lion dances, hear Chinese singing, and see the martial arts demonstration, etc. Falun Gong practitioners were invited to perform at the festival.

Young practitioners from the Minghui School in Delaware performed the traditional lotus dance. The dance team was formed last summer. Many Chinese people were drawn to their performance. Mr. Li, a Chinese musician, had high praise for the young practitioners. Later, the youths performed two more dances that highlighted the principle of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" that practitioners follow, and the spread of Falun Dafa throughout the world.
