Cases of Retribution Due to the Persecution of Falun Gong

Dec. 11, 2007

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese cultures, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward acts that are in harmony with this principle, while doing things such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too ,be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

The Head of Nongan County 610 Office in Jiling Province Dismissed, Diagnosed with Cancer

Recently, Yi Haoyang, male, age 53, is head of Nongan County 610 Office and deputy of the Politics and Law Committee of Nongan County. Because of his being involved in the crime of defrauding people out of money, he was dismissed by the disciplinary department, and criminal charges are being pressed. He was also diagnosed with cancer of the rectum. His case has aroused much attention locally as well as in Changchun City. It is said that he is suffering retribution for his persecution of Falun Gong. Nongan County is one of the areas where the persecution of Falun Gong is very severe. The local government and political officials are trying to prevent the news from being widely known.

Cases of Retribution in Yuanyi County, Liaoning Province

Wang Weiyi, male, age 47, was the former deputy Communist Party head in Dayushu Town, Yuanyi County, and was later the Party head in Liulongtai Township, Yuanyi County. Ever since the persecution began on July 20, 1999, when Wang Weiyi was in Dayushu Town, he closely followed Jiang's regime to persecute Falun Gong and brainwash practitioners. He was responsible for the death of practitioner Zuo Zhongyou, the sentencing at least seven practitioners to forced labor, detaining many practitioners, and extorting a great deal of money from them. Wang refused to listen to kindly warnings from practitioners who clarified the truth to him, and he viciously slandered Dafa. In 2006 he died as a result of a sudden hemorrhage.

Sun Yiguo, male, around 56, is the former Party head of Dayushu Village, Dayushu Town, Yuanyi County. He closely followed the persecution of Falun Gong and cooperated with the town government and local police to monitor and brainwash the practitioners in the village. This led to detainment for some practitioners, and some were sentenced to forced labor. Sun Yiguo was a corrupt official and hated by people in the village. In 2005, his corruption was exposed and he was arrested. He was removed from his position. The village people were happy and thought he should be sentenced to prison for years.

Wicked Party Members in Helong Town of Nongan County Suffer Retribution

Han Longshan, the former head of the Helong Town government, followed Jiang's wicked policies to persecute Dafa. He helped illegally arrest practitioners and participated in ransacking their homes. Now he has had a stroke. In August 2007, his son-in-law was killed in a fight, and his granddaughter was diagnosed with leukemia.

Lin Jiliang, a staff worker at the general office of Helong Town, was involved in persecuting practitioners from 1999 to 2003. In early 2007, he was diagnosed with cancer and has been in severe pain.

Wang Fengyou was a resident in Helong Town. She helped remove Falun Gong notices and posters on walls and electric poles. When advised not to do so because it would harm herself and others, she didn't believe it. She said she got paid twice the amount of money to do it and that it would be OK as long as she could earn money. At the end of September 2007, Wang died due to a poison gas leak.
