(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 30 cities or counties in 13 provinces. In this report, 48 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 70 practitioners were illegally arrested.

6. [GaiZhou, Liaoning] Follow-up on Ms. Zhao Guili's Situation
At around 8:00 a.m. on October 22, Ms. Zhao Guili was reported for clarifying the truth on Nanguanshengli Street. She was illegally arrested by officers from the Gulou police substation. Her home was illegally searched and her Dafa book and tapes were taken.

On October 23, Mr. Yin Jianhui was clarifying the truth when he was arrested by local police. He is now being detained in the Fourth Subdivision of the Third Team at the Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp.

Ms. Li Juxian from Chuanchang Village, Qingshang District in Wuhan City was arrested by security officers who spied on her while she clarified the truth. She is now being detained at the Qingshan Town Police Station.
12. [Dalian, Liaoning Province] Ms. Han Jiling Arrested and Brought to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Han Jiling from Dalian Jinzhou District, along with other practitioners, went to the Jinzhou Youyi Police Station to clarify the truth on November 22. They were all detained at the Sanli Jinzhou District Detention Center for 15 days. On November 16, they were arrested and brought to Shenyang Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for one and a half years.

13. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Wang Suoxian Arrested and Brought to the Chenjiaji Brainwashing Center
Ms. Wang Suoxian from Dongxihu, Wahan City was arrested and brought to the Wuhan Jiang'an Chenjiaji Brainwashing Center by the police for torture. Recently, an additional nine practitioners were arrested and taken there.

On October 24, 2007, Shangxi Shuozhou City Police officer Ren Tinghai, and Shanyin Town Police officer Su Chunzhi arrested practitioner Ms. Li Guoshan and held her in the Shuozhou Detention Center.
On September 12, 2007, at 5:00 a.m., Shuozhou National Security team leader, Ren Jianqing, broke into Ms. Liu Min's home and arrested her. An hour later, a police officer climbed over the garden wall and broke into her home for an illegal search.
On June 23, 2007, at 4:00 p.m., a Neimenggu Zhungeerqi Town police officer was ordered by Huairen Town National Security Team leader, Liu Xing, to arrest practitioner Mr. Guo Jianhai. The officer also took his valuables.

16. [Dalian, Liaoning] Ms. Wang Xiuhua Arrested
On November 4, 2007, the police from Daweijia District, Dalian Jinzhou Town, arrested practitioner Ms. Wang Xiuhua, searched her home, and confiscated several Dafa books. She is now being held at Dalian Jinnan Road.
17. [Liaoyang Town, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Suzhen Sentenced to Five Years in Prison
Ms. Wang Suzhen was held for four months in the Shizuizi Detention Center of Liaoyang City. After the four months were up, the Taizihe Court sentenced her to five years in prison. Ms. Wang has since appealed her sentence.

18. [Jinyang, Sichuan] Several Teachers from Xinan Science University Detained
Mr. Yan Xiaolin, Ms. Mou Lin, Ms. Liu Fang, and Mr. Tang Gui, all from Xinan Science University, were detained. Mr. Yan Xiaolin and Ms. Liu Fang were arrested and brought to the Jinyang Detention Center because they refused to write a guarantee statement. Officers from the National Police station confiscated Ms. Liu's computer from her office. Mr. Yan's computer was also taken.
19. [Mudangjiang, Heilongjiang] Ms. Ren Yanjie on a Hunger Strike to Protest the Persecution
On the morning of November 30, Mudanjiang's 610 Office agents, and Chai City police arrested Ms. Ren Yangjie and five other practitioners. They took their Dafa books and truth-clarification materials, a radio and tapes. Ms. Ren Yanjie and another practitioner were brought to a detention center. Ms. Ren is now on a hunger strike to protest the persecution.
20. [Beijing] Follow-up on Lang Chunxu's Situation
Ms. Lang Chunxu was illegally interrogated by Chaoyang Substation police officers. They arrested her, then brought her to the Olympic Village Police Station for interrogation. Ms. Lang was then transferred to the Chaoyang Detention Center.
21. [Shuangyashan, Heilongjiang] Ms. Li Fenglan Arrested
Ms. Li Fenglan from Jianshan District of Shuangyashan City was arrested by officers from Jianshang District Wohongqiao Police Station on November 6, 2007. She is now being held at the Shuanyashan Detention Center.

22. [Weifang, Shandong Province] Practitioners' Homes Illegally Searched, Meng Qingxia Arrested
On November 8, five or six police officers illegally searched several Weifang Anqiu area practitioners' homes. Ms. Meng Qingxia from Xuying Village of Anqiu Liujiayao District, was arrested on the night of November 2, 2007.
23. [Tianjin] Zhang Huifu--an Excellent Teacher--Arrested by Xiqing Policemen
On the afternoon of November 7, Han Shixiang, principal of the Tianjin Xiqing District Dashizhong School, assisted Xiqing police in arresting Zhang Huifu. Mr. Zhang was brought to the Xiqing Police Substation Detention Center.
24. [Nanhai, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhao Yulin Arrested and Her Whereabouts are Unknown

25. [Jimo, Shandong Province] Ms. Xie Jianchun Arrested
Ms. Xie Jianchun, around 40 years old, is a practitioner from Han Village. On the night of September 24, 2007, she sent out truth-clarification materials and was reported. She was then arrested by Tongji police. Ms. Xie was held at the Dashan Detention Center. Her whereabouts are currently unknown.
26. [Tianjin] Hu Xianghui Arrested
On November 5, 2007, Ms. Hu Xianghui from Tianjin Ninghe was arrested by Ninghe 610 Office agents, who then ransacked her home. Her whereabouts are currently unknown.
27. [Zhuolu Town, Hebei Province] Zhai Shengrong Arrested and Released after Paying Extortion Money
Mr. Zhai Shengrong, a nurse at the Coal Hospital of Wujiagou in Zhuolu Town, installed a NTDTV satellite for his brother on October 24, 2007. Wujiagou police officers arrested him. He was detained until 6:00 p.m. The police took his Dafa books, a recorder, CDs, MP3s and other valuable possessions. In the end, he was extorted out of 6,000 yuan, and then released.
28. [Weifang, Shandong Province] Zhong Zemei and Her Father-in-Law Arrested
Weifang Linju District police and 610 Office agents arrested Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhong Zemei and her husband, Mr. Sun Xuejun, who is not practitioner, and searched their home. They stole valuable items including a TV, a computer and a printer, on November 5, 2007. On November 6, the police released her husband but arrested his father the following day. Mr. Sun's father and Ms. Zhong were held at the Linju Detention Center.
29. [Heibei Province] Wangdu Town Practitioners' Situation
Since mid-August, around 20 practitioners have been arrested. They include Ms. Sunj Jingsu, Ms. Liu Qiaozhen, Ms. Zu Lanzhen, Mr. Huang Ligang, Mr. Wang Guoqi, Ms. Zheng Caiqin, Ms. Tian Xiuzhen, Mr. Liu Junran, Ms. Jin Songjianhong, Ms. Cao Sukun, Ms. Geng Xinhua, Mr. Wang Wexiang, Mr. Liang Jintian, Mr. Liu Suguo, Shouer, Ms. Ai Ping, and Mr. Zhan Tongjun. Nine of the practitioners were sent to a forced labor camp. Police officers confiscated a NTDTV receiver and destroyed it. They also stole computers, printers and a copy machine valued at thousands of yuan.

30. [Weifang, Shandong Province] Police Harassing Mr. Liu Guozhen's Family
Weifang police officers failed to arrest practitioner Mr. Liu Guozhen from Shangpincheng. Recently, they ordered Shangpincheng police officers to harass his family. Family members are followed around near their places of business, and are harassed at their jobs as well.

31. [Yuyao, Zhejiang Province] Shi Junfen and other Practitioners Arrested
Since October 8, agents from the National Security Office have arrested Ms. Shi Jufen, Ms. Chen Naiwen, Ms. Song Guizhen, Ms. A Yu, Ms. Wang Guiti, Lao Yuan, Ms. Zhi Fen, and her husband who is not a practitioner.
32. [Zhucheng, Shandong Province] Ms. Cao Jine Arrested
On November 8, 2007, Ms. Cao Jine from Zhucheng Xiaoxingsi was arrested by 610 Office agents, and her home was searched. The police confiscated her computers and a printer.
33. [Haozhou, Anhui Province] Ms. Deng Suling Arrested but Subsequently Escaped
Ms. Deng Suling from Haozhou City was arrested on November 7, 2007, but she managed to escape using her righteous thoughts. The police are searching for her everywhere.
34. [Huaian, Jiangsu] Ms. Zhu Xiumei Arrested--Her Current Whereabouts are Unknown
Ms. Zhu Xiumei was arrested on November 2, 2007 by Huaian Heiqing Police Substation officers. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
35. [Tongling Town, Anhui Province] Police Arrest Three Falun Gong Practitioners
On the morning of October 31, 2007, police officers from Tongling Town arrested Ms. Cheng Fengxian, Ms. Wu Yan, and Ms. Liu Xuemei. Now, they cannot be found. It is said that these three have not continued to practice Falun Gong since being brainwashed.
36. [Yichun, Heilongjiang Province] Wang Zhongbao Arrested and Detained in Nantong, Jiangsu Province
Mr. Wang Zhongbao from Yichun City was arrested on November 20. He was detained at Nantong Jail in Jiangsu Province.

37. [Shandong Province] Jiaonanboli District Police Officers Harass Dafa Practitioners
On November 2, 2007, Jiaonanboli District Police officers harassed Mr. Cheng Wenxian and then went to a female practitioner's home to harass her. She was working on her farm when the police forced her to go home. During their illegal inquiry, she escaped. Later, the police searched another practitioner's home and took Dafa truth-clarification materials. Mr. Cheng Wenxian's and this female practitioner's whereabouts are unknown.
38. [Zhucheng, Shandong Province] Shiqiaozizhen Practitioner Arrested by Shiqiaozi Police on November 7, 2007
39. [Jining, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhao Jing's Daughter Alone with No One to Care for Her after Ms. Zhao Is Arrested
Ms. Zhao Jing from Jining City was sent to a forced labor camp, and her husband works in another city. Their daughter, who is only in junior high school, has no one to care for her.

Recently, Mr. Li Ruifeng, Mr. Han Jiwen, and Ms. Zuo returned home, but Ms. Yue Lihua is still being held at a detention center.
