People in Arequipa Shocked by the Persecution

Arequipa is the second biggest city in Peru. Falun Gong practitioners have visited there many times and set up an exercise site.

In Arequipa, three local radio stations interviewed practitioners. They introduced the practice and told of its popularity around the world and then began to talk about the persecution in China. A talk show host of Radio Melodia, the biggest local radio station, was shocked when he learned about the persecution and organ harvesting in China. He said that he would definitely read the book, the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, and welcomed practitioners to his program again in the future.

After the radio interview, many people on the streets told practitioners that they just learned about Falun Gong from the radio.

Spreading Falun Dafa in Iquitos

Iquitos is an important city in Peru. On December 13, practitioners visited the local media, and gave them some truth-clarifying materials. After visiting the media, practitioners went out to pass out materials. There are a lot of Chinese restaurants in this town. Practitioners clarified the truth about Falun Gong to the local Chinese people.

The local media never heard about the persecution. They were shocked by it.

The local TV station, Channel 2 Amazonica, interviewed practitioners in the hotel. The local newspaper, La Region, and local radio station Radio Diez, interviewed practitioners and reported on the persecution of Falun Gong. Channel 2 Amazonica interviewed practitioners again later, and another local TV station also interviewed practitioners.

On the streets, the practitioners often ran into people, who asked for more detailed information about Falun Gong. Before the practitioners left, they were invited to the local police department to demonstrate the exercises to the policemen. The practitioners also gave the policemen some materials about the practice and the persecution.

Promoting the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party in Chiclayo

Practitioners have visited Chiclayo many times. This time, their main mission was to promote the book, the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to the local Chinese people. The Western practitioners greeted Chinese people in Chinese and briefly introduced the book to them. Many Chinese people echoed the practitioners in saying, "Falun Dafa is good," as they accepted the materials.
