1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Ms. Jiang Yahong's Whereabouts Unknown After Detention and Torture
Practitioner Ms. Jiang Yahong was illegally arrested by officials from the Daoli Police Department in Harbin City on January 23, 2007. She was sent to a detention center and tortured until she was on the brink of death. Officials from the detention center called her family at noon on February 4 and told them, "Come and tell Jiang Yahong to eat something or we will send her to the hospital for emergency treatment." Her family immediately took a taxi and arrived at the detention center four hours later. The official on duty said, "She has been sent to the hospital." Her family asked, "Which hospital?" but the official answered that the police forbids the release of that information.
Ms. Jiang Yahong was detained for 13 days. Daoli Police Department officials never presented any ID or related documents to her family. Ms. Jiang's current whereabouts are unknown.
2. [Jixian County, Heilongjiang Province] Persecution of Practitioner Ms. Kang Yuzhi
Practitioner Ms. Kang Yuzhi from Jixian County started practicing Falun Dafa in May 1999. She went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Dafa at the end of 2000 but was arrested, taken back to Jixian County, and held at the Jiamusi Detention Center for ten days. Officials from the local police department sent her to the Jixian County Detention Center and held her there for 20 days. They released her after extorting more than 3,000 yuan from her family.
Geng Zhendong from the Jixian County Police Department ordered four officials from the Jixian Town Police Department to arrest Ms. Kang at her home in April 2002. They took Dafa books and materials from her home. Ms. Kang was held at the Jixian County Detention Center for two years before she was transferred to the Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp where she was held for nearly one year.
During Ms. Kang's time at the labor camp, guards Li Xiujin and Gao Jie cuffed her hands behind her back and coerced her to be "reformed" and write guarantee statements. They also drew her blood once to conduct a medical test.
During the three years of persecution, Ms. Kang’s husband passed away from illness and mental trauma. Their young child is left home alone.
3. [Heilongjiang Province] Persecution of Practitioners at the Hulan Prison in Harbin City
Officials at the Hulan Prison in Harbin City escalated their persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners through heavy manual labor. Practitioner Mr. Zhang Jian refused to cooperate with the persecutors. The guards threatened him and denied him family visits.
Many practitioners are held at Division 2 and Division 7 of Hulan Prison. The guards brutally tortured practitioner Mr. Zhu Lijun. Mr. Zhu was hospitalized for two weeks. His head is swollen and he cannot eat. He was sent to a hospital on January 29 for emergency treatment and was delirious when he returned to the prison. He was again taken to a hospital in the afternoon of January 31.
4. [Yingcheng City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Mr. Rao Xuming Tortured to the Brink of Death and Still Sentenced to Prison
Practitioner Mr. Rao Xuming from Yingcheng City persisted in his belief in Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. He was held at the No. 1 Detention Center in Yingcheng City for 18 months. During this period, Yingcheng City Police Department agents secretly transferred him many times from place to place, including to the solitary confinement cell at the Yingcheng City Police Department, the Yunmeng Detention Center, the Hubei Province Brainwashing Center and the Yingcheng City Detention Center.
Officials from Yingcheng City 610 Office sent Mr. Rao to the Hubei Province Brainwashing Center again on September 5, 2005. They tortured him physically and tormented him mentally for 38 days in an attempt to make him renounce his belief in Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. Mr. Rao went on a hunger strike on January 8, 2007 to protest the persecution. He was tortured to near death. The police refused to release him, and sentenced him to two years in prison without following any legal procedures. He was barely breathing when several officers from the Yingcheng City Police Department carried him into an ambulance on January 15, 2007 and drove him to the Fanjiatai Prison in Shayang, Hubei Province, to further persecute him. Fanjiatai Prison officials refused to accept him because he was unconscious and in critical condition. In the end, officers from the Yingcheng City Police Department forced the prison officials to accept him.

5. [Beijing] Practitioners Ms. Liu Xiuyun and Mr. Li Li Sentenced to Prison
Practitioner Ms. Liu Xiuyun from Rizhao worked at the Bank of Industry and Commerce Sales Department. The officials took hundreds of thousands of yuan in savings from her home. Her husband was sentenced to eight years in prison and she was sentenced to four years for practicing Falun Gong.
Practitioner Mr. Li Li is a university professor. He was sentenced to an unknown number of years in prison. Prior to the verdict, he was held at the Fengtai Stadium in Beijing for three months, during which time he was brutally tortured.
6. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Persecution of Practitioner Ms. Yan Tingzhen
Practitioner Ms. Yan Tingzhen, 30, from Harbin City is a graduate student at the University of Forestry. Local police officers arrested her in 2006 and sentenced her to two years of forced labor. She was sent to Wanjia Forced Labor Camp on July 21, 2006 and held for ten days. She was tortured in an iron chair for four days between August 1 and August 4. Guard Zhao Yuqing hung Ms. Yan up on August 26 and tortured her for an entire night. Guard Yao Fuchang grabbed her hair on October 24 and forced her to squat. Ms. Yan resisted and sustained a lower back injury during the process. The pain lasted for one week. She was hung up for two more days, on October 30 and November 1, 2006. Ms. Yan’s left hand and left foot continue to be numb and tremble. She cannot hold things in her hand.
7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhang Haiyan Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Zhang Haiyan was arrested at the Yaxiya Restaurant on around February 2, 2007. Her parents decided to leave home to avoid persecution.
8. [Beijing] Practitioners Mr. Tian Junyan and His Son Mr. Tian Enze Each Sentenced to Two-and-a-Half Years of Forced Labor
Officers from the Shijingshan Police Department arrested practitioners Mr. Tian Junyan and his son Mr. Tian Enze on September 28, 2006. They were each sentenced to two-and-a-half years of forced labor in January 2007 and have been transferred to the Tuanhe Labor Reeducation (Brainwashing) Dispatch Division. Mr. Tian Enze’s wife is unemployed. She and their 18-month-old son are living on money donated by family and friends. The wife requested many times to meet with Tian Enze but was refused without any explanation.

10. [Chongqing] Practitioner Mr. Huang Zehan Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Huang Zehan from Zhong District, Chongqing is a retired teacher from the No. 11 Middle School in Chongqing. He was arrested on February 1, 2007 and is now being held at the Liziba Detention Center.
11. [Xinxiang City, Henan Province] Practitioner Zhao Qingxiu Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Zhao Qingxiu from Xinxiang City was arrested by officers from Xinxiang City Police Department and Dongjie Police Department at around 2:00 p.m. on January 31, 2007 when distributing truth-clarification materials in the street. She is now possibly being held at a detention center.
12. [Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province] Five Practitioners Including Ms. Liang Yanlan Arrested
Five practitioners from Yangjiang City, including Ms. Liang Yanlan, were arrested on December 25, 2006 when distributing truth-clarification materials. The practitioners are being held at the Baisha Detention Center. Ms. Liang is being severely mentally and physically persecuted. The guards didn’t let her have the clothes her family brought her, despite the freezing cold weather. The guards are now trying to extort 300,000 yuan from her family before they release her. Her family members borrowed 50,000 yuan and gave it to the guards before they were allowed to meet with her. She was covered in bruises.
13. [Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhao Xueying Illegally Tried
A group of officers from the Hejian City Police Department in Hebei Province broke into the home of practitioner Ms. Zhao Xueying at around 9:00 p.m. on December 6, 2006. They ransacked the home and took Ms. Zhao to the Hejian City Detention Center. They confiscated her computer(s), 1,200 yuan in cash, a salary card, Dafa books and other personal belongings. Her six-year-old child is left home alone. It has been more than two months since the arrest.

14. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Additional Information Regarding the Persecution of Practitioner Mr. Cheng Lianju
Practitioner Mr. Cheng Lianju from Harbin City accompanied a relative to a train station on December 24, 2006 to see him off. He was arrested by officers from the Zhanqian Police Department in Harbin City and was held at Tielu Detention Center. His family received a decision statement from Harbin Railroad Labor Reeducation (Brainwashing) Administration Committee on February 2, 2007, saying Mr. Cheng had been sentenced to 18 months of forced labor, although there was no trial.

Practitioner Ms. Cheng Yanhua worked at the Ningjiang District Post Telecommunications Office. Sun Bingren from the National Security Section at the No. 1 Police Department in Ningjiang District and officers from the Chengbei Police Department arrested her. They also confiscated Dafa books from her home. She is now held at Songyuan City Detention Center.

17. [Hebei Province] Detained Practitioners Sent to a Forced Labor Camp
Officials from the Pingquan Police Department and the National Security Division in Hebei Province sent several practitioners to a forced labor camp at the end of January 2007. They are: Ms. Li Ruixia, Ms. Wang Guifeng, Ms. Liu Wenshu, Ms. Liu Wenxiu, Ms. Li Ruiyun, Mr. Han Jingyu, Mr. Wang Shumin, and Ms. Fan Guijie. The practitioners were being held at Pingquan Detention Center at the time. Some female practitioners were sent to the Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp in Baoding City, Hebei Province, and male practitioners Han Jingyu and Wang Shumin were sent to the Tangshan Forced Labor Camp in Hebei Province.

18. [Chongqing] Ms. Wang Ya and Several Other Practitioners Arrested
Practitioners including Ms. Wang Ya, Ms. Wang Shiping, Zhang, and Shi were sharing experiences at the Workers’ Culture Palace in Chongqing at 7:00 a.m. on February 1, 2007 when a large group of police officers pulled up and surrounded them and some people who were doing morning exercises. The police arrested many practitioners and ransacked the homes of several practitioners that same morning.
Practitioner Mr. Cheng Miao and his wife Qian Qian were arrested at home that morning. Police officers ransacked their home and took Dafa books and truth-clarification materials. The police also ransacked other practitioners’ homes.
19. [Pingyao County, Shanxi Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhao Yuerui, about 60, Held at the Lingshi Detention Center on December 26, 2006.
20. [Beijing] Additional Information on the Arrest of Practitioner Ms. Lang Dongyue
Practitioner Ms. Lang Dongyue took bus 919 toward Beijing from Yanqing at 8:00 a.m. on January 27, 2007. About five miles into the trip, police officers in a vehicle stopped the bus. The police officers didn’t question any other passengers but went straight to Ms. Lang and asked her where she was going. They told her to get off the bus and instructed the bus driver to continue the trip. Ms. Lang was taken to the Yanqing Detention Center.
Ms. Lang had previously been held at labor camp(s) three times. The police had been following her for days before this arrest.
21. [Beijing] Practitioners Ms. Li Jun and Ms. Hua Ye Arrested
Practitioners Ms. Li Jun and Ms. Hua Ye were reported near Yuanda Road in the Haidian District, Beijing and arrested on January 10, 2007. Nothing has been heard from them since.
22. [Shenzhou, Hebei Province] Practitioner Mr. Wang Ruihua Arrested at Home
Six officers from the Shenzhou City Police Department including Zhang Yuanxiang from the Political and Security Section drove to the home of practitioner Mr. Wang Ruihua in Wangjia Village, Wangjiajing Town at 3:00 p.m. on January 8, 2007. The officers arrested and detained Mr. Wang, who was taking care of his wife after she gave birth. The officers also ransacked the home Mr. Wang's mother went to the Shenzhou City Police Department and asked for his release, but her request was denied.

Practitioner Ms. Li Yan and two other practitioners from Huaihua City went to remote villages to clarify the truth and help people quit the Chinese Communist Party on January 26, 2007. They distributed truth-clarification materials and VCDs but were arrested by a plainclothes police officer from Xinjian Township Police Department in Zhongfang County, Huaihua City. The officer was actually the police chief. The practitioners are currently being held at the Hecheng Detention Center in Huaihua City.

24. [Chongqing] Practitioners Ms. Zhang Zhifen and Ms. Pi Zhong Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Zhang Zhifen, about 50, lived on East Jintuo Street in Hechuan. She is a retired worker from the No. 4 Cotton Textile Factory in Chongqing City and was held at a forced labor camp for one year. Practitioner Ms. Pi Zhong, also about 50, lived in Heyang Town, Hechuan. Both practitioners were arrested on the afternoon of January 26, 2007 when posting truth-clarification phrases on Liangting Street, Hechuan. They are now holding a hunger strike to resist the persecution; their lives are in danger.

Practitioner Mr. Zhao Zhongliang from Jiawang District was arrested and is now held at the Xiaqiao Police Station. Practitioner Ms. Xu Qihua, a nurse from the No. 2 Division of the Xuzhou City Mineral Bureau, was also arrested. A female practitioner surnamed Meng was arrested around 7:00 p.m. on February 4, 2007 and her home was ransacked.
27. [Datong City, Shanxi Province] Supplemental Information on Arrested Practitioner Ms. Cui Yuping
Practitioner Ms. Cui Yuping’s family members went to the Nanguan Police Station to demand her release on February 5, 2007, following her arrest. Police station head Zuo Dong, to whom Ms. Cui clarified the truth many times and who arrested her, deferred the request to the Datong City Urban Police Department and asked the family members to look for Xing Baoquan. The family failed to find the person.
When a family member clarified the truth to personnel at the Nanguan Police Station, Xu Wenlai, an internal policeman, and Yang Shengzhou, an external policeman, yelled, "We’ll throw you into prison as well if you don’t stop."

28. [Shandong Province] Personnel at the Jinan City Women’s Forced Labor Camp Forbid Wei Maoxia’s Family from Visiting Her
Practitioner Ms. Wei Maoxia from Yanzhou City was arrested in October 2006 when she was distributing truth-clarification materials. She was later sentenced to fourteen months of forced labor. Her family members tried to visit her in Jinan City many times but were not allowed.
29. [Hulunbei’er Prefecture, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Practitioner Ms. Zhang Fenglan and Her Two Children Are Still Being Detained
Police officers from Zhalantun City, Hulunbei’er Prefecture arrested more than 30 practitioners on March 27, 2006. Most of the practitioners have been released. However, practitioner Mr. Zhou Jingwei and his sister Ms. Zhou Shuang were transferred to the Tumuji Forced Labor Camp for two years of forced labor. Their mother Ms. Zhang Fenglan is being held at the Zhalantun City Detention Center. She has had three court hearings and was sentenced to four years of imprisonment.

Several officers from the Henanding Town Police Station in Quzhou County led several police officers from the Danzhai Township Police Station in Qiuxian County to practitioner Mr. Zhao Xinji’s store in Henanding Town. They broke into the store, and confiscated a tape recorder and some discs. They arrested Mr. Zhao and placed him in the Qiuxian County Detention Center. Mr. Zhao is originally from Danzhai Township, Qiuxian County and runs an electronics store in Henanding Town, Quzhou County.

31. [Heishan County, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Ms. Guan Wenhua Arrested
Xiao Zhongying and chief Wang Weijing from the National Security Brigade of the Heishan County Police Department went to a practitioner’s home in Banlamen Town at 9:00 a.m. on January 31, 2007. They did not show any warrant and ransacked the home. They found a copy of a Dafa book and confiscated it. They also arrested the practitioner.
Xiao and Wang then went to another practitioner’s home, but the door was locked. Later on, they went to ransack practitioner Ms. Guan Wenhua’s home and arrested her. They placed her in the county detention center.

33. [Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Mr. Wang Shilin Stages a Persecution Protest Hunger Strike
Personnel from the Mishan City No.4 Police Station arrested practitioner Mr. Wang Shilin when he was on his way to a relative’s home in Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province on January 17, 2007. Li Gang and Gao Shitong from the National Security Division of the Mishan City Police Department took Mr. Wang to the city’s detention center. Mr. Wang has been on a hunger strike to protest the persecution ever since his arrest and is currently in poor health. However, Mishan City police authorities will not release him.
34. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Officers Broke into Practitioner Ms. Liu Chaofen’s Home and Ransacked It
Wu Liqiong, an official from the Majia Town Government in the Xindu District, Chengdu City, and Qing Su, a police station chief, led a group of officers to drive in two cars to practitioner Ms. Liu Chaofen’s home at the No.10 Group, Puxi Village, Majia Town at 9:00 a.m. on February 2, 2007. Ms. Liu did not open her yard door. Some officers climbed over the yard wall but did not open the door from inside, so officers outside the yard kicked the door and made a big hole. They got into Ms. Liu’s home through the hole. Wu Liqiong asked an officer to monitor Ms. Liu and ordered Ms. Liu to open every room in her house. She said she did not have the keys, so some officers forcibly took her to find her husband for the keys. When she returned, the officers had already kicked every room open and ransacked the whole house without the presence of her or her family member. They did not find any Falun Gong materials and left.

35. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Persecution of Practitioner Li Qingbo
After practitioner Mr. Li Qingbo from Wuhan City was arrested and held at the Shenzhen City No.2 Detention Center for nearly three years, personnel from the Jiang’an District 610 Office in Wuhan City secretly took him back to Wuhan City for further persecution. Mr. Li is currently being held at the Jiang’an District Brainwashing Center.
Mr. Li’s father suffered several onsets of heart disease during the past several years because of the persecution to Mr. Li.
36. [Heilongjiang Province] Supplemental Information on the Persecution of Practitioner Mr. Fan Qiang and Practitioner Couple Mr. Wang Julong and Ms. Chen Jijun
Police officers arrested practitioner Mr. Fan Qiang, an executive secretary of the Baoquanling Agriculture Bureau Police Department in Luobei County, Heilongjiang Province, on January 5, 2007. They held Mr. Fan at Luobei County.
Mr. Wang Julong and his wife Ms. Chen Jijun were arrested on January 18, 2007.
Mr. Wang, born in 1965, works at the Xinghui Power Plant in Baoquanling Town, Mengbei County, Heilongjiang Province. He started practicing Falun Gong in 1995 and went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa after the persecution began on July 20, 1999. He was sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor in 1999 and served his sentence at the Suihua Forced Labor Camp, where he was physically tortured and mentally tormented. Police officers didn't permit him to see his dying mother during his detention. His family members also suffered tribulations. Personnel from the Juzhi Police Station at the Baoquanling Police Department arrested Mr. Wang again at his home on January 18, 2007. He is currently being held at the local police station.
Ms. Chen Jijun, born in 1965, is an employee of the Hanglian Seed Company at the Baoquanling Farm. She started practicing Falun Gong in 1994. She and her husband were sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor at the end of 1999. They were held at the Caomao Forced Labor Camp in Jiamusi City. Personnel from the Juzhi Police Station arrested the couple and held them at the local police station.

Practitioners Mr. He Qiang and Mr. Deng Jinglin were sent to Sihui Prison. Practitioner Mr. He Ren was sent to Shaoguan Prison.
Personnel from the Henghe Brainwashing Center forced practitioners to watch the staged "self-immolation" video and videos produced with practitioners who had given up Falun Gong. They also forced practitioners to do class-designated exercises.
38. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Ms. Xu Yaxuan's Home Ransacked
About five officers from the Yushu City 610 Office, the National Security Team of the city’s police department and the Zhengyang Police Station went into practitioner Ms. Xu Yaxuan's home. The officers confiscated Master's picture, a copy of "Zhuan Falun," and some Dafa materials on January 29, 2007. They also took the computer that Ms. Xu's family member used. Ms. Xu escaped with the power of righteous thoughts.

Mishan City Court agents put practitioners Mr. Mao Dexing and Mr. Ye Zhenghui on trial on January 12, 2007. The court agents could not reach a verdict after a few internal discussions. The cases were reported to the Political and Judiciary Committee for further discussion. Reportedly, they made the decision on February 1 and are going to announce the verdict this week.

Personnel from the Security Section of the Natural Gas Company colluded with officers from the Babaishang Police Department. 42. [Chongqing] Practitioner Yang Changqin Held at a Women’s Forced Labor Camp
Personnel from the Lijiatuo Police Station arrested practitioner Ms. Yang Changqin from the Banan District in Chongqing City at her workplace in the Lijiatuo Market on November 24, 2006. Officers searched her pockets and found the key to her home. They proceeded to ransack her home and confiscated some Dafa books and truth-clarification banners. Ms. Yang was sent to the Chongqing Women's Forced Labor Camp the next day. Her husband suffered a severe health setback because of his wife's persecution.
Practitioner Ms. Xiang Chun from Sanjiaobei, Lijiatuo District was also arrested and her home was ransacked. She was released after twelve hours of detention.

Personnel from the Nancheng Police Precinct in Guangshan County arrested practitioners Ms. Dong Yurong and Ms. Zhang Mingyue at 11:00 p.m. on January 29, 2007 and searched their houses. Officers arrested practitioner Ms. Hu Qingxian as she was teaching at the county’s children's center and searched her house on the afternoon of January 30. In the meantime, three other practitioners were arrested.

45. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Ms. Qi Jing Is Held at the Changchun City No. 3 Detention Center
Practitioner Ms. Qi Jing from Changchun City went out to post truth-clarification materials in the neighborhood of the Qingming Street Police Station on the afternoon of January 30, 2007. Police officers arrested her, took her to the Nanguan Police Department, and ransacked her house.
Mr. Qi Wei and his wife Ms. Zhang Xiuge, Ms. Qi Jing’s relatives, disappeared on January 31, and their house was also searched. All cash in the house was gone. A computer, a printer, a DVD player, two cell phones and some other personal belongings were confiscated. All furniture was destroyed.
The three practitioners are being held at the Changchun City No.3 Detention Center.

Practitioner Mr. Liu Jintao is a graduate student of the China University of Petroleum in Beijing. After being detained for over two months at the university, he was transferred into a detention center.

Practitioner Ms. Zhou Yuhui is a teacher at the primary school affiliated with the Yueyang City People’s Court. Some students’ parents reported her to the police for clarifying the truth to her students. Personnel from the city's 610 Office and from the police department ordered the school’s leader to deceive Ms. Zhou into going to the Jinhai Hotel while they searched her house simultaneously. Later they detained Ms. Zhou for 15 days.
