A portion of his brain had been excised, a piece of his skull was gone, and an egg-sized piece of skin had been torn away. The doctors believed that the skin on his head was necrotic (the cells were dead), and he was listed in critical condition.

This man's wife and daughter could not find him for a few days. When they finally discovered him at the hospital, the doctors told them to prepare for his funeral.
