On May 20th, 2007, there was a rally at Queen's park in Toronto to support 22 million people who quit the Chinese Communist Party.
In just three years, since the Epoch Times published 'The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party' it has been reported that 30,000 a day are resigning. http://ninecommentaries.com/
There were more than 2000 people of all ages and nationalities and hundreds of banners that expressed the terror and heartache from the persecution and organ snatching of Falun Gong (Dafa) practitioners. The persecution is not only in China but has spread worldwide to Chinese people everywhere.
There was pain in their faces but hope in their hearts as the East and West united to speak out in a free country.
There were many speakers but the one that stood out was Calgary MP, Rob Anders who relayed a message of great importance.
He told about being assaulted by staff from the Chinese embassy in Ottawa when attending an event on Parliament Hill. They told him to take off the shirt he was wearing which said "Free Falun Gong." They told him to leave and that he had no business commenting on Falun Gong because it was an internal matter that didn't affect him.
When the video man came over to film the assault they tried to push the camera to the ground. Mr. Anders expressed if staffers of the CCP do this on Parliament Hill we could imagine all too well what they do in China.
His message was to speak out on the CCP's assault of freedom of speech. He continued to say "There are people brave enough to speak out in Mainland China, they deserve that you add your voice to theirs. The CCP is anti-freedom and the only way to free oneself is to sever ties with it. Canada is a sovereign nation and the tentacles of China ought to be cut. Those here in Canada must speak out with courage and support those who quit the Chinese Communist Party"!
The Minister of Commerce of the Chinese Communist Party, Bo Xilai, is scheduled to enter Canada on Monday May 28th. He should not be allowed to enter, as any other criminal should not be allowed.
...In 2005, Bo Xilai's visit to Canada was aborted supposedly after attention was brought to his role in the torture and killing of Falun Gong practitioners.
In 2006 it was disclosed that large-scale organ seizures from Falun Gong practitioners occurred in Liaoning Province since 2001 while Bo Xilai was the governor.
Bo Xilai is a defendant in a number of lawsuits (both criminal and civil) in ten countries for torture, crimes against humanity and genocide, including the USA, UK, Germany, Australia, Poland, Peru, Chile, Spain, and South Korea.
On July 28, 2004, the United States District Court for the District of Columbia declared defendant Bo Xilai in default in a lawsuit in which Bo was accused of torture and crimes against humanity. (website for the lawsuits: www.flgjustice.org )
Bo is among a group of government officials who in concert with others have implemented and sustained a campaign of suppression and persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, and in particular, in Liaoning Province.
Please find the courage to stand for Truth, Compassion and Tolerance.
A CCP delegation is also scheduled to come to Sault Saint Marie for business. Human Rights must not be compromised for business.
You can help: Call your MP, Mayor, Prime Minister and/or Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Sever ties with the CCP; Its collapse is inevitable
