Ms. Lin Yuxue from Yanji, Jilin Province Illegally Arrested

June 12, 2007

(Clearwisdom.net) On May 27, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Lin Yuxue from Yanji, Jilin Province, was clarifying the truth to people at a market while shopping. She was "arrested illegally" by the police and taken to the Yanji Detention Center for imprisonment and persecution.

Ms. Lin was a hepatitis B patient with cartilage illness and other diseases. Her doctors told her these diseases were incurable. She couldn't take care of herself and endured a lot of pain. Her husband and two children suffered because of her illness. The family financial situation was extremely bad. Ms. Lin's husband also had a serious disease. He was diagnosed with a brainstem hemorrhage late last year and was told it was terminal. He was advised to prepare for his death.

Ms. Lin's family was ready to fall apart from the pressures brought upon them by their illnesses. It was Falun Dafa that saved her family and gave them hope. Ms. Lin began practicing Falun Dafa, studied the book, and did the exercises. Ms. Lin is very healthy and energetic now. She is very kind and always thinks of others first. When she encounters a conflict, she always looks inward to find her own shortcomings. Dafa's Teacher protected her husband while he was so critically ill. He was able to improve and is now out of danger.

Ms. Lin Yuxue has benefited from practicing cultivation in Falun Dafa and wants other people to learn Falun Dafa so that they can benefit as well. Ms. Lin's family is again in financial crisis due to her sudden arrest. She ran the small business that supports her family and now there is no money coming in. There is no one to take care of her husband and there is no money to buy food for the whole family.

Ms. Lin is innocent, and what she has done is very noble. We hope that kindhearted people from different trades and professions in the Yanbian area will take note of this issue. Stand up for justice and together do what you can to stop this persecution. We must all listen to our conscience and uphold morality, justice, and dignity.
