In the Past Eight Years, Police from Laishui County Have Arrested Ms. Kui Fenglan Several Times

June 9, 2007

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Kui Fenglan, a practitioner from Laishui County, Hebei Province, was illegally sentenced to forced labor on March 28 by the Communist regime. With determined belief in Master and Dafa and the strengthening of righteous thoughts by fellow practitioners, Ms. Kui left the forced labor camp once again and returned home. However, as a result of the persecution, she has become very weak.

Ms. Kui Fenglan, 52, is a resident of Long'an Village, Songgezhuang Town, Laishui County, Hebei Province. In March 2007, she was arrested when she was on her way to Beijing to validate Dafa. She was later transferred to Laishui County Detention Center and was detained there for 15 days. She went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution, and was not released until she was near death on March 20. However, the local police had no regard for Ms. Kui's life, and on March 28 they arrested her again and took her to Balizhuang Forced Labor Camp in Baoding City. She was sentenced to two years of forced labor. This was the second time that Ms. Kui was sentenced to forced labor for two years, and it was only one year after the first time.

Those who participated in persecuting Ms. Kui Fenglan include:

Wang Fucai, director of the Laishui County 610 Office
Peng Hongzhi, chief of the Public Security Bureau
Dai Chunjie, section chief of the Political and Security Section of the Public Security Bureau
Xu Jianzhong, director of the Songgezhuang Town Police Substation

During the past eight years, Ms. Kui has been detained numerous times at the detention center, and county and village police have frequently gone to her home to threaten her. As a result, she and her family have been negatively impacted both financially and spiritually, and their lives have been totally disrupted.

Ms. Kui benefits greatly from practicing Falun Dafa. A housewife, she changed from being a person who could hardly read a word to being able to read all of Zhuan Falun, which has 332 pages, within several days. She can also recite new articles. She is healthy physically and hasn't needed to take any medication since she started practicing. Her family relationships have become harmonious. Many miracles of Dafa were shown to her after she started to practice.

On July 20, 1999, the Chinese Communist Party started to defame and slander Dafa. Ms. Kui clarified the truth about Dafa to the world's people. She went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Dafa but was arrested. She was subjected to brainwashing tactics and fined during her detention.

On October 4, 1999, the police of the Laishui County Public Security Bureau transferred her from Beijing to Laishui County Public Security and handcuffed her to the iron gate of the courtyard at the Public Security Bureau. The policemen, including Liu Yaohua and Li Zhenlin, beat her and prevented her from eating, drinking, or using the bathroom. Liu Yaohua said maliciously, "You have to hold it in until you die." On October 27, Ms. Kui was released only after the authorities had extorted 5,000 yuan from her family.

In April 2000, at a brainwashing center, Ms. Kui was forced by the staff to kneel down on the floor. She was beaten with a stool. As a result, her skin turned black and blue from the bruising. The staff also beat her on her palms and the backs of her hands until she lost consciousness. She was then forced onto a long bench. Over 2,300 yuan was extorted from her family.

In August 2000, while still at the Laishui County Brainwashing Center, Ms. Kui refused to give up practicing Dafa. Therefore, Sun Guijie instigated the staff from the public security bureau, the procuratorial department, and the court system to beat her severely, after which she could hardly move. She was then confined for many days in an abandoned coal shed, where it was so damp and dark that you could hardly see your hand in front of your face. When Ms. Kui regained consciousness, she was covered in coal cinder. The guards did not allow her to eat or drink. When she was released, she looked like she was just stepping out of a coal pit. The guards again extorted over 2,000 yuan from her.

During this longterm detention, the guards of the Laishui County Detention Center forced her to wear heavy handcuffs and shackles. Sometimes, they connected the handcuffs to the shackles so that her head would touch the tops of her feet.

Wang Jinying, the Laishui County Detention Center doctor, has a medical clinic at Nanguang Dajie in Laishui County. She often purchases medications at a discount and sells them at inflated prices to the prisoners at the detention center so as to make huge profits. In order to please those in charge at the detention center, Wang Jinying has often provided free medications to the director and prison guards and then deducts the cost from the prisoners' medical fees. When Wang Jinying received immediate retribution for the crimes she committed, she said it was because Ms. Kui "cursed" her by sending forth righteous thoughts. Wang then used all kinds of means to have people at the detention center assist her in persecuting Ms. Kui, injectingMs. Kui with unknown drugs.
