Ms. Yu Cuilan Was Tortured at Heizuizi Prison (Jilin Province), Her Family Members Were Beaten When They Attempted to Visit Her

Aug. 1, 2007

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Yu Cuilan, a Falun Gong practitioner, is from Changchun City, Jilin Province. She was tortured so brutally at Heizuizi Prison that she is now almost immobile. Five people need to carry her to the toilet room because she is very weak and in a critical condition. Recently her family members requested to visit her, but the head of Heizuizi Prison and the thugs at Mingzhu Police Station physically assaulted and beat her family members.

On July 10, 2007, Yu Cuilan's family demanded to visit her. The head of the prison did not have any reason to deny their request, but claimed that if she did not "transform," they would not be allowed to see her. He also lied and said that Ms. Yu herself did not want to see her family.

Her family was very worried and asked one more time to see her. They questioned the prison guards, but the prison regulations written on the wall are all lies. The prison head did not have anything to say to them. In about 20 minutes, prison guards and undercover police surrounded the visitors' room, started to beat Ms. Yu's relatives, and arrested the two of them. It was said that this was carried out by the prison head and the police from Mingzhu Police Station.

The police arrested her family members and detained them at Mingzhu Police Station. They demanded that the family admit that they were Falun Gong practitioners and to slander Falun Gong and it's founder. Finally they extorted 1,000 yuan from them and released them.

In 2006, Yu Cuilan was arrested by thugs from the local Communist regime government. They have brutally tortured her ever since. When Yu was on oxygen and unable to talk, the communist court held a trial and sentenced her to a jail term. Then she was imprisoned.

At that time, Yu Cuilan was only skins and bones and was unable to take care of herself. Despite her awful condition, the prison authorities refused to let her family visit her and made her situation even worse.
