(Clearwisdom.net) A classified document issued on January 14, 2005 by the No. 1 Reconnaissance Unit to the No. 26 Bureau (Tianjin) of the Ministry of State Security has come to light. This document is a systematic analysis of Falun Gong-related articles originating from Tianjin that were published on the Minghui website (minghui.ca) in the month of December 2004.
This document shows the Chinese Communist regime squanders taxpayers' money to persecute innocent people. Party lackeys regard the persecution through the most egregious means possible as their job, thus devoting themselves to block and prevent the dissemination of truthful information. Regarding the numbers of persecution reports on the Minghui website, the last paragraph in their report states, "The overall number of reports keeps rising," a reluctant admission that the persecution has turned out to be a failure and also a foretelling of the Communist Party's imminent collapse after committing countless crimes.
Communist Party Regime Exhausts Nation's Resources to Block Information and Persecute the Innocent
The Communist Party has colluded with Jiang Zemin and the Luo Gan group since July 1999. They misused the entire government machinery, including the military, regular police, armed police, media, diplomatic departments, the Party affairs system, the administration system, the financial system, pseudo-religious groups, and many others to persecute Falun Gong. This persecution is unprecedented in terms of its scale, expenses and the population it affected. A high-ranking official from the Liaoning Province Judicial Department publicly announced as early as 2002 during a meeting at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, "The money we've spent on dealing with Falun Gong has exceeded the cost of a war."
The Party's persecution has created a huge financial Black Hole
According to the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG), Jiang Zemin ignored opposition from the other six Politburo members and single-handedly launched the brutal persecution of Falun Gong, which a group of retired members of the National People's Congress concluded to be "extremely beneficial and does not cause an ounce of harm." Out of jealousy and self-interest, Jiang Zemin and his accomplices during the past eight years have spared no effort to propagate lies and violence to maintain the persecution and block information to disseminate.
The Party spent huge amounts of money outside China to establish newspapers, and bought overseas media through which it tries to justify the "legitimacy" of the persecution; it bribed businessmen, government officials and scholars, and used financial benefits in exchange for foreign countries' silence on the most horrific human rights violations. It dispatched special agents, nursed pro-Party groups and spokespersons, collected information on Falun Gong practitioners and interfered with Falun Gong activities, thus exporting the persecution onto foreign soil; it also sent performance troupes on world tours--an attempt to upstage the New Tang Dynasty Television (NTDTV) Chinese New Year Spectacular, the Party's efforts ended in a farce.
Inside China, the salary alone for police, national security agents, armed police, 610 Office agents, judicial officials and other government employees hired to carry out the persecution amounts to hundreds of billions of yuan each year; more than 20 billion yuan has been spent on the establishment, renovation and expansion of prisons, labor camps and brainwashing centers. The "Golden Shield Project," "a gigantic online database with an all-encompassing surveillance network - incorporating speech and face recognition, closed-circuit television, smart cards, credit records, and Internet surveillance technologies" [1] as of 2002 absorbed 6,400 million Yuan.
Currently, the Ministry of State Security hires 30,000 Internet monitoring personnel, more than 300,000 professional Internet police, and an even greater number of "Internet security personnel" at various workplaces. This computer network surveillance system, the largest of its kind in the world, administers the strictest information blockade for China's Internet. The Ministry of State Security No. 26 Bureau specializes in persecuting Falun Gong. The report shows the bureau closely monitors and analyzes the number, content, distribution, author and background information of articles published on the Minghui website each month, in order to persecute Falun Gong practitioners who risk their lives to deliver the persecution information to the international community.
The Party cast aside Chinese people's welfare and allocated one quarter of the nation's GDP to persecute innocent followers of Truth-Compassion-Tolerance. Some Party officials even complained that the persecution of Falun Gong constitutes the largest and most unnecessary financial burden for the current administration. A Ministry of Finance official once said, "The persecution policy is completely backed by money; without money, the persecution cannot last."
Exposing the Bloody Darkness Behind Lies and High Pressure The State Security No. 26 Bureau is a unit specialized in persecuting Falun Gong. The classified document proves Jiang had failed to achieve his goal--"eradicate Falun Gong in three months." The astronomical sum that was wasted on blocking information channels failed to stop factual persecution information from flowing across virtual borders and continuously publicizing around the world. The Party is both furious and frightened. The Minghui website, the object of obsession with the No. 26 Bureau's groups in different areas, happens to be the main overseas website that continuously reports on the persecution of Falun Gong, and expose the lies of the Communist regime.
According to the Minghui website, Falun Gong practitioners who persevere in their conscience and righteous belief have been illegally arrested, imprisoned, savagely tortured and drugged; some endured brutal sexual assaults, and some had their organs removed while still alive. The current, verified death toll as a result of the persecution exceeds 3,075. Forty-three practitioners died in Tianjin, which ranks 15th among provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in the nation. The victims include elderly people in their 70s, healthy and intelligent young men and women, government officials with high ethical standards, and well-respected teachers.
According to this classified document, more than half of the 23 articles that originated from Tianjin that were published on the Minghui website in December focused on exposing the brutal persecution.
Among these articles is the one entitled "Senior Official Mr. Feng Min Died from Persecution." It tells the story of 75-year-old Mr. Feng Min who used to be sickly. He underwent heart bypass surgery before he started practicing Falun Gong in 1994, after which he regained health. He never took another pill, thus saving the health care system hundreds of thousands of yuan in medical expenses over several years. [Senior Party officials usually receive full medical coverage from the government]. During the persecution, however, he was harassed and intimidated for a long time and eventually died in 2004 under the persecution from Hexi District Police Department.
Cheng Ke was a 75-year-old retired official from the Huabei Construction Materials Company in Tianjin and also a Korean War veteran. He refused to give up his belief and died at Hexi Police Department in 2004.
The deaths of Meng Jixiang, a member of Tianjin City Standing Committee and Party School principal and that of his son-in-law was reported in the article "Tianjin: Mr. Meng Jixiang and His Son-in-Law Are Tortured to Death." In early 2002, 56-year-old Meng Jixiang was secretly arrested and taken to the Qingbowa Forced Labor Camp. His daughter and son-in-law, both graduate students at Tianjin University, went to the city government to inquire of his whereabouts. His son-in-law was arrested and taken to Banqiao Forced Labor Camp where the guards ordered inmates to take turns beating him. They shattered his skull with wooden stick(s) and murdered him. Meng Jixiang also passed away three days later under the persecution.
Articles such as "Courage in the Face of Persecution: Remembering Mr. Tang Jian, Who Was Tortured to Death at the Shuangkou Forced Labor Camp, Tianjin" and "Practitioners Brutally Treated at Shuangkou Forced Labor Camp in Tianjin" reveal the horrific torture death of Tang Jian, an outstanding teacher from Jialingdao Middle School in Nankai District.
Tang Jian graduated from the Physics Department at Nankai University. Falun Gong practice helped him quit smoking, drinking and gambling, and he also became kind and considerate. He was an outstanding teacher at the Jialingdao Middle School in the Nankai District, Tianjin. He spoke up for Falun Gong and was taken to a brainwashing center along with his parents and his infant son who was not yet a year old. The "610 Office" tried to destroy his willpower by making his family suffer. Tang Jian was taken to the Shuangkou Forced Labor Camp in July 2000 and was released two years later, near-death. When he had partially recovered by doing the Falun Gong exercises the officials forced him to return to the labor camp where he was savagely abused.
They shocked his entire body, burned his face until the skin peeled away; they punched his face until it became deformed and whacked his body until his flesh was exposed--then they soaked him in salt water. They also tortured him with a method called "riding an airplane" [2] and deprived him of sleep. He developed a severe lung infection, spiked a high fever and lapsed into a coma. He passed away on July 9, 2004 at the age of 39. He did not have a single patch of intact skin at the time of death.
Minghui articles have also exposed the deaths of Ma Dexuan from Wuqing County and Lin Chunfang from Jinnan District, as well as the detention of Ms. Zhang Runmei, a Ph. D. student from Tianjin University and engineer Mr. Xu Xiaolong, along with many others at the forced labor camp. The goal of these articles is to shed light on these human rights violations and call for help in rescuing these practitioners.
What has been mentioned so far only includes incidents that occurred in one month, in one city, that made it past the Party's Internet blockade and be published on the Minghui website. To a certain extent, the persecution of Falun Gong in Tianjin reflects the persecution throughout the country--an ongoing, brutal attack of good people from various social strata who follow Truth-Compassion-Tolerance. This senseless persecution has resulted in the loss of numerous precious lives. It is a tremendous tragedy for the individuals, their families and our nation.
Falun Gong Practitioners Forged Success Amid Suffering; The Persecution Proven to Be in Vain
Although eight years of bloody violent persecution threw countless families into turmoil, just as the founder of Falun Gong once said, "Never in history has someone who persecuted those with upright faiths ever succeeded." ("Coercion Cannot Change People's Hearts", Essentials for Further Advancement II) Falun Gong practitioners persevered in their belief in Truth-Compassion-Tolerance. They are tempered through peaceful efforts, to explain the facts and oppose the persecution. They have matured.
One Falun Gong practitioner said, "If a doctor cures a chronic illness for me, I would thank him for the rest of my life; if a teacher gives me wisdom, I would respect him for the rest of my life; if a saint tells me the true meaning of life, I would revere him for the rest of my life. Master Li Hongzhi is a doctor, a teacher and a saint. He has not only helped me but more than 100 million others. Our Master is noble, yet personable, capable, yet humble. He is revered and loved by millions around the world." The article "Falun Gong Practitioners from China Respectfully Wish Esteemed Master a Happy New Year" also listed in the classified document, shows Falun Gong practitioners expressing their gratitude toward their Master, despite great tribulations, as they have learned the meaning of life through Falun Gong practice and experienced an improved quality of life. Also, they vowed to diligently strive forward and fulfill their promise.
Articles "Obtaining the Tao After Torment of Illnesses" and "Falun Gong Conference Successfully Held in Tianjin" delivered the strong message how a dictatorship fails to suppress people's innate desire for the truth, and how lies and coercion fail to change people's hearts.
The author(s) of the classified document reluctantly admitted at the end of the document the failure of the persecution and of blocking information, "An overall review of Falun Gong articles on the Minghui website regarding our city yields a total of 304 articles--55 articles in the first season, 79 articles in the second season, 73 articles in the third season and 97 articles in the fourth season; the general trend is [the number of articles] is on the rise." As The Nine Commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party spreads ever far and wide, as anti-block technology progresses rapidly, as more and more people awaken to the truth, it is not difficult to understand why Party followers bemoaned, "the fight on the Internet will be more and more severe."
Endnote
Falun Gong facts and The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party have helped people gain a better understanding of the evil nature of the Communist Party. As of August 2007, 25 million Chinese people have withdrawn from the Party. They sided with conscience and justice and have therefore chosen a bright future for themselves. The Global Human Rights Torch relay, with the main goal to stop the persecution of Falun Gong, amid boycotting the Communist regime's "Bloody Harvest Olympics," will arrive in more than 100 cities on five continents. The celestial phenomena that the heaven will eliminate the Communist Party in China has been clearly presented before people's eyes. This is the manifestation of heavenly principle that "good will be rewarded with good and evil with evil," and this is also the inevitability of history.
