1. [Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Ms. Chen Fengzhen in a Perilous Situation
Ms. Chen Fengzhen is an employee of the Daqing City No. 5 Oil Extraction Factory. Honggang Police Department's Xingnan Police Station chief Lin Shui arrested her on her way to a market on the afternoon of December 18, 2007. They ransacked her home and confiscated some Dafa books, 30 copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, a paper cutter, and Ms. Chen's son's computer. They put her into the city's detention center. Ms. Chen has been on a hunger strike since her arrest. She has severe heart disease symptoms and is in peril.

2. [Yingcheng City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhou Juzhen's Husband and Son Brutally Beat Her--One Leg and Two Ribs were Fractured
Because of the ruthless persecution of Falun Gong, many practitioners' families fear being persecuted. Some have even cooperated with the government's suppression. Ms. Zhou Juzhen refuses to give up Falun Gong practice, so her husband Liu Haibao often beats her and attempts to coerce her to give it up. He and his son Liu Chen brutally beat Ms. Zhou on December 19, 2007, until she sustained a fracture in her left leg and two ribs. They even declared they would put Ms. Zhou into a mental hospital.

3. [Beijing] Mr. Sun Zhiqiang Arrested
Police arrested 40-year-old Mr. Sun Zhiqiang from Zhangshanying Village, Zhangshanying Town, Yanqing County on December 21, 2007. He is currently being held at the county's detention center.
4. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Xiaomei Harassed
Liuzhuang Village party secretary Liu Xiangxing in Mengyin County, and Jiepai Town 610 Office head Zhang Debin went to harass Ms. Liu Xiaomei at her home on December 7, 2007. Ms. Liu's husband Mr. Liu Xiangyi had been sentenced to nine years in prison and was recently released from the Shandong Province Men's Prison.

5. [Zouping County, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Jingyu Arrested
Personnel from the Zouping County 610 Office arrested Ms. Zhang Jingyu from Cheguanzhuang Village, Sunzhen Township and ransacked her home on December 15, 2007. They also arrested 40-year-old Ms. Zhang Aihua on December 20, 2007. They ransacked her home and confiscated some truth-clarifying materials. The two ladies are currently being held at the county's detention center.
6. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Shurong and Ms. Zhang Chengqin Arrested
Personnel from the Xiying Police Station arrested 40-year-old Ms. Zhang Chengqin and 60-year-old Ms. Wang Shurong from Zhonggong Town on the afternoon of December 21, 2007. The arrest happened when they clarified the truth of Falun Gong at a market in Xinying Town.

7. [Chongqing] Mr. Zhou Xiaojun Arrested
Personnel from the Sha District Domestic Security Division and from the Xinqiao Police Station arrested 44-year-old Mr. Zhou Xiaojun from the Shapingba District in Chongqing on September 30, 2007. It is heard that Mr. Zhou was put into the Xishanping Forced Labor Camp in mid-October 2007.
Mr. Zhou had been put into a brainwashing center in early 2001. Personnel from the Shapingba District Police Department arrested several practitioners including Mr. Zhou in early October 2005. He was sentenced to one year of forced labor and subjected to a multitude of tortures in the Xishanping Forced Labor Camp.
8. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yang Meiying Put into a Brainwashing Center
Personnel from the Xiadian Town 610 Office and from the town's police station arrested Ms. Yang Meiying at her home in Gouxiadian Village, Xiadian Town, Zhaoyuan City at noon on December 18, 2007. She is currently being held at the Zhaoyuan City's Lingnan Gold Mine Brainwashing Center.

10. [Ziyang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Tang Chaobing Arrested
Ten officers from the Ziyang City 610 Office and from the Anyue County Domestic Security Division arrested Mr. Tang Chaobing at 9:00 a.m. on November 19, 2007. These lawless officers bumped Mr. Tang's head against a car and caused a skull fracture during the arrest. Later they put him into the Yingjie Town Brainwashing Center in Ziyang City.

11. [Yingcheng City, Hubei Province] Two Practitioners Arrested
Personnel from the Yingcheng City's Chengbei Police Station arrested two practitioners on the afternoon of December 20, 2007, for clarifying the truth about Falun Gong. They are currently being held at the city's No. 2 Detention Center.
12. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Che Sikun Arrested and Home Ransacked
Personnel from the Panlong Police Department's Domestic Security Division arrested 63-year-old Ms. Che Sikun at 3:40 p.m. on December 14, 2007. The arrest took place as Ms. Che distributed the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party at the Armed Police Kunming Branch on Wanhua Street, in the Panlong District. They ransacked her home and confiscated a computer, a printer, some Dafa books, a copy of Master's picture and some truth-clarifying CDs. Ms. Che is currently being held at the district's No. 1 Detention Center.
13. [Chongqing] Ms. Huang Qunxiang Arrested
Ms. Huang Qunxiang lives in Minzhu Village, in Jiulongpo District, Chongqing. She was arrested at the Outpatient Department of the Chongqing Medical University Hospital on the morning of July 27, 2007, and is currently being held at the Yuzhong District Liziba Detention Center. Ms. Huang's husband attempted to visit her, but the police denied his request. Ms. Huang's home has been ransacked three times since her arrest.
14. [Meishan City, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners' Homes Ransacked
The home of 60-year-old Ms. Du Yuxian, who lives on Xin Street, in the Dongpo District of Meishan City, was ransacked in Ms. Du's absence on November 28, 2007. Police confiscated many CDs and a CD burner.
Sixty-year-old Ms. Wang Xuezhen lives in the No. 13 District of the Rose Garden Community. Police found that Ms. Wang was not at home, and then ordered her son to open the door for them. They then confiscated a satellite TV receiver.
Police also ransacked Ms. Dou Bihua's home in Yongshou Town.
15. [Jingzhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Chen Jinghong Arrested
Ms. Chen Jingjiang was arrested for the sixth time. Jingzhou City 610 Office chief Zhang Xiaoxing participated in the arrest.
Ms. Wan Xuanfang and Ms. Quan Haiyan were arrested and put into the Shashi District No. 1 Detention Center in Jingzhou City.

16. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wan Deming Held at the County Detention Center
Personnel from the Songyuan City Police Department arrested Mr. Wan Deming at the Hongqi Farm in Qianguoguan District, Songyuan City at 2:00 p.m. on December 20, 2007. He is currently being held at the county's detention center.
17. [Fuyang City, Anhui Province] Mr. Zhang Baorong Arrested
Personnel from the Fuwang Street Police Station in Fuyang City went to Mr. Zhang Baorong's home. They ordered him to sign a guarantee statement, promising to give up Falun Gong practice, on December 19, 2007, but Mr. Zhang refused. The police ransacked his home and arrested him.

18. [Beijing] Several Practitioners from the Shunyi District Persecuted
Mr. Wu Ji'an, from Dahanzhuang Village, Mulin Town in the Shunyi District, and two other unknown practitioners were arrested and put into the town's police station on December 19, 2007. They are currently being held at the Nihe Detention Center.
19. [Huinan County, Jilin Province] Five Practitioners Arrested
Five practitioners, including Ms. Ye Guilan, Ms. Wang Shulan, Ms. Ma Shiyan, Ms. Li Fengqin and Ms. Sun Baili, were arrested and put into the Chaoyang Town's Beishan Detention Center on the night of November 12, 2007.

22. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Several Practitioners from Fushan Town Arrested
610 Office agent Song Shaochang and some other officers arrested several practitioners and put them into the Zhaoyuan City's Lingnan Gold Mine Brainwashing Center at 8:00 p.m. on December 17, 2007. They include Mr. Lu Defa and Ms. Lu Delan from Lujia Village, Fushan Town, Zhaoyuan City, Ms. Liu Xiang, Ms. Sun Shimei, Ms. Luan Cuiping and Ms. Liu Yuqin from Xialiujia Village. The police confiscated Ms. Liu Xiang's MP3 player.
23. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Eight Practitioners Face Illegal Sentences
Chengde City Court agents held a trial for eight practitioners on December 18, 2007. They included Mr. Liu Jinxin, Ms. Cai Shumei, Mr. Fan Lixin, Ms. Zhou Yanchun, Mr. Han Zhiqiang, Mr. Zhao Zhiqiang and Ms. Yang Shuqin. Their cases will be concluded before the New Year's Day.

25. [Beijing] Ms. Zhuang Yanhong Arrested
Ms. Zhuang Yanhong was sentenced to two years of forced labor in October 2007, and was then put into the Tuanhe Dispatch Division's No. 10 Division. She was recently transferred into the Beijing Women's Forced Labor Camp. Ms. Zhuang is a teacher in the Department of Philosophy at Beijing Industry University. This is her sixth arrest.
26. [Beijing] Ms. Zhang Xiufang Lives in Exile
Personnel from the Shunyi District Police Department harassed Ms. Zhang Xiufang at her home on December 18, 2007. Ms. Zhang successfully escaped and is now living a homeless life to avoid further persecution. Police had her home monitored the morning of December 23, 2007.
27. [Zunyi City, Guizhou Province] Mr. Shen Aiqiang Still Detained
Mr. Shen Aiqiang, 31, is from Zhennan Town, Wuchuan County, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province. Mr. Shen and his brother accompanied their father to see a doctor at 8:00 a.m. on November 26, 2007, but police arrested him near the Nanguan Kindergarten in Zhouzhou City. He is currently being held at the Guiyang City No. 2 Detention Center's No. 1 Cell. He has been held for a month and his family's visits have been denied.

29. [Ziyang City, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Face Illegal Trials
Personnel from the Ziyang City 610 Office and from the National Security Division arrested Mr. Yi Xiangang, an employee from the Ziyang City Nanfang Motorcycle Company at noon on September 3, 2007.
Mr. Huang Zhengquan and Ms. Deng Yuxiu were arrested and their home ransacked on the afternoon of August 17, 2007. They are being held at the city's detention center. Police planned to sentence the three practitioners on December 24-29, 2007.

30. [Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
Personnel from the Qingyuan City 610 Office and from the National Security Division arrested Ms. Cheng Zhonghua and put her into the Guangdong Province Sanshui Brainwashing Center in June 2007. She has now been released. Police arrested Ms. Luo Liuyue, Ms. Li Yujie and Ms. Lai Chengmei, and put them into the brainwashing center in October 2007. They have not been released.
31. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Ms. Yan Suixian Arrested
Ms. Yan Suixian from Huaihua City went to rescue eight practitioners held at the Huitong County Detention Center at 3:00 p.m. on December 20, 2007. Police arrested her on her way back home. She is currently being held at the Huitong County Detention Center.

Personnel from the Zhongshan Garden Police Station in Wuhan City arrested 58-year-old Ms. Chen Xiaolian on December 15, 2007. She is currently being held at the city's Dongxihu No. 1 Detention Center.
33. [Suozhou City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Ma Ruizhen and Ms. Zhu Cuiying Arrested
Personnel from the Suozhou City Police Department arrested Ms. Ma Ruizhen and ransacked her home in the city's Party Committee Dorm Building at 8:00 p.m. on November 29, 2007. They confiscated a computer and a printer. Police then arrested 48-year-old Ms. Zhu Cuiying and ransacked her home in the Suocheng District Business Bureau's Dorm Building. Ms. Zhu is being held at the district's detention center.
34. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Han Guangrong Arrested
Plainclothes police arrested Ms. Han Guangrong, an employee from the Nanchong City West Gate Railway Station at 9:00 a.m. on December 18, 2007. Ms. Han is currently being held at the city's detention center. Some officers who claimed they were from the Domestic Security Division broke into Ms. Han's son's home and attempted to ransack the place, but failed. They later went to Ms. Han's home and duped her husband into opening the door. They then confiscated some Dafa books, one of Master's pictures and some personal belongings.
35. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Xiaoqin Arrested
Seven officers from Bayu Township in Rongcheng County, Baoding City arrived in two police vehicles at Ms. Li Xiaoqin's home and confiscated a set of Master's lecture CDs, several Dafa books, copies of "Minghui Weekly" and a satellite TV receiver.

Ms. Zhang Hui from Anshun of Guizhou City went missing in Guangzhou City on September 29, 2007. Her whereabouts are unknown.
37. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Guiying Transferred into the Fushun City Brainwashing Center in Mid-November 2007
38. [Bazhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Runhui Put into the Langfang Brainwashing Center
Ms. Li Runhui is a retired employee from the Huabei Oil Field Comprehensive Service Center's No. 12 Division in Bazhou City, Hebei Province. Personnel from the center's 610 Office often harassed her. They colluded with police officers and put Ms. Li into a brainwashing center twice, and sentenced her to two years of forced labor.
Three officers from the Jidong Police Station, along with Zou Bo from the No. 12 Division's Security Section, harassed Ms. Li again in early November 2007. The Ms. Li couple defied them and did not let them into their home. Ten policemen banged on the door the next day, but the Ms. Li couple still did not open the door.
A group of policemen arrested Ms. Li a month later on the street and took her to the Langfang City Brainwashing Center on December 11, 2007. There is still no additional information about her.
39. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Jianru Arrested
Ms. Wang Jianru was arrested on December 21, 2007, and is currently being held at the Santaizi Women's Detention Center in Shenyang City.
40. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Jin Ping, Ms. Dong Ruifen and Ms. Wu Junshi Face Illegal Trials
Personnel from the No. 7 Farm Police Station arrested Ms. Jin Ping, Ms. Dong Ruifen and Ms. Wu Junshi, employees at the Tanghai County's No. 5 Farm in Tangshan City, on September 25, 2007. The arrest took place as the practitioners distributed Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials at the No. 7 Farm. The practitioners have been held at the county's detention center for three months, but all family's visits have been denied. According to an inside source, the three practitioners will be sentenced on December 24, 2007.
