(Clearwisdom.net) About 10:00 a.m. on the morning of April 24, 2008, the village secretary (who had learned the truth and resigned from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)) brought two officers from the township government to my home. As soon as I saw them, my heart palpitated profusely. However, then I remembered I was a Fa rectification period Falun Dafa practitioner. I immediately began sending forth righteous thoughts and eliminated the attachment of fear. I thought to myself, "You fear, but I don't. The attachment of fear is not me." At that time my mind was filled with the Fa taught by Teacher. Regardless of whether the two officers visiting was a good thing or a bad thing, it would all be good. Since they had come, I would save them.

Then I welcomed them into my home. When they passed through the gate, they saw a Chinese character "Fortune" pasted on the wall. The people from the township government walked inside and read loudly the Chinese character "Fortune," "'The Buddha-light illuminates everywhere and rectifies all abnormalities.'" (Zhuan Falun) while looking around. The township officer asked me, "Do you still practice Falun Gong?" I followed Teacher's Fa by not answering his question directly. Based on his topic I told them the truth about Falun Gong while sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate all the rotten ghosts and the communist evils that interfered with them. At the same time, I told them how Falun Gong had been persecuted. I explained that the "Tiananmen immolation" was a play directed by the CCP. I also told them how I began to practice Falun Gong and how Dafa gave me a second life.

Actually, I am usually very quiet and very introverted. However, I don't know why I could talk so eloquently that day. I talked about the goodness of Dafa and how Dafa helped people to be good from within and without. I spoke about the persecution that Dafa and Dafa disciples had been suffering. While talking they looked around and asked me if I still had any Dafa books and if I met with other practitioners. One also said that my furniture was nice and asked me if it was made of solid wood, and so on. I didn't answer their questions directly in accordance to the Fa. While they asked me questions, the township government officers opened the closet, looking and knocking at it. They pretended to look at the furniture. In actuality, they were looking for Dafa materials. In the cabinet they opened, there was a box of truth clarification information disks about the persecution of Falun Gong. But they didn't discover them. When they opened it, I was very calm, only telling them the truth about Falun Gong and treating them as my own family members who were waiting for salvation. They stayed for more than thirty minutes and didn't find anything. After they listened, they said that if I felt it was good, I could practice at home. Then they left.

After they left, I recalled what happened a moment prior. I was especially surprised, as I am usually a totally different person. On that day it seemed that I changed into someone else. I suddenly realized that it was Teacher guiding me. In the process of clarifying the truth I didn't hold the slightest fear. Actually, the attachment of fear is based on selfishness. I regarded them at heart as my own family members. The only thing I cared about at the time was letting them know the truth and saving them. I hoped that they would not be eliminated due to holding hatred against Falun Dafa or persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners.

We are supposed to do the three things well, study the Fa, search inward and keep the Fa in mind at all times. It is crucial that practitioners as one body remove the attachment of fear, and especially the attachment of selfishness. This is also crucial to saving more sentient beings and bringing the persecution to an end. Teacher said in "Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. Fa Conference,"

"Whatever happens, only by keeping up your Fa-study can you get rid of your human thoughts, can you get rid of your attachments, and can you thus be unaffected by any human things."

If we eliminate the attachments of selfishness and fear, Teacher will help us out.
