(Clearwisdom.net) On January 8, 2007, I got a phone call from family members in my mother's home, telling me that she was critically ill. They wanted me to go home immediately. I knew that Mom had always believed in Dafa and hoped that she had followed my instruction to recite "Falun Dafa is good". Although it sounded very serious, I felt that as long as Mom always believed that Dafa is good, she would be all right.

My mother's home is in a coastal city in Guangdong Province. My siblings are scattered in different locations. Mom had suffered a Subarachnoid hemorrhage. She is seventy-nine years old. About a month earlier, she went to her sister-in-law's house. Perhaps exhausted from traveling, her blood pressure got too high and she was hospitalized. She fell into a coma or near coma three times within the first week of hospitalization. For several days, she was unable to take in any food. The doctor hinted that she was beyond any hope of being cured and it was just a matter of time. My brother-in-law heard about a very good doctor in the neighboring county and went to invite him over. The doctor would not come, so he prescribed some herbal medicine, but Mom could not take any of it. She had been without a drop of water for twenty six days and was dying.

When I got to the hospital and saw Mom, I asked her: "Mom, do you still recognize me?" She affirmed it and subsequently called out my name. At this time, she woke up. I asked her to recite "Falun Dafa is good," and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." She did what I said, and recited them immediately. It was unfortunate that she had not remembered to recite these sentences when she first got sick.

My brother worked in the city government and was badly poisoned by the lies of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). He was afraid that I might pull the IV needle from Mom and asked auntie to watch and stop me if I tried. He did not believe in the least that reciting a few sentences could cure illnesses. I was not moved by their disbelief, and said calmly to my auntie: "I won't do it. Don't worry."

After reciting "Falun Dafa is good" for a week, Mom was able to gradually take in some food. She began with some fluid, and then slowly changed to some porridge. She never fell back into the confused state any more. I stayed in the hospital with her for over a month.

I was told that when Mom was in a semiconscious state when she was first hospitalized, much of what she said was nonsense. The few relatives accompanying her were scared, feeling that she was near death. During the week that I was first with her, that is, the same week that she began reciting "Falun Dafa is good", people surrounding her all witnessed the change in her. Indeed, there were improvements in her condition every day. A week before her discharge from the hospital, she said she wanted to stop all injections. The doctor complied. After Mom's discharge, family members and relatives all thanked me. I told them that they need not thank me. It was Mom herself who had recovered her righteous thoughts. This was the reward for her sincerely reciting "Falun Dafa is good" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good". It is our Teacher and Dafa that saved her. This way, Mom, who had essentially not eaten anything for over two months and had not had a sip of water in twenty six days, was able to sit up by herself on Feb. 8, 2007, one month after she had sincerely recited "Falun Dafa is good." She then got better every day and was able to walk after ten days. In another month, she was able to entirely take care of herself. Now, not only is she completely recovered, she often goes to the market shopping for groceries.

Through this incident, my brother who works in the city hall no longer stops me from doing the Falun Dafa exercises. The other brother, who is a driver, sincerely believes in Dafa now and hangs a Dafa emblem in front of his car. The majority of my family members have quit the CCP and its associated organizations, and actively urge people around them to do the same, citing my mother's incident as support.

I truly hope that all sentient beings know that Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.
