(Clearwisdom.net) Dayong, in his 30s, is the group leader for a crew of welders. He is in charge of supervising a crew of workers skilled in steel repair and also working on different construction sites, building houses or on bridge projects. At each job, he tries his best to take safety precautions, but during each project there are usually some injuries. Someone on his crew inevitably gets hurt, either a with a minor injury or a serious one. Because he is the leader, he has to bear the financial responsibility when this happens. Dayong was very perplexed about this situation.

Last that year when he went home, he told his mother, "I cannot continue doing this job. After working for a year, not only did I not earn any money, I even ended up owing a lot!"

His mother is a Falun Gong practitioner. She told Dayong, "We have benefited from Dafa. I have recovered from all my illnesses and I am able to help you by taking care of your child. Your child is in the third grade and is also very healthy. How many are they on your crew? You should quickly ask them to renounce their CCP (Chinese Communist Party) membership. After renouncing their membership, I will give you some Dafa talismans (1). You should give each of them one and ask them to always carry it with them." Dayong agreed and said, "And I will also ask them to sincerely recite, 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.'" His mother said, "The workers will be safe and sound, because respecting Dafa brings good fortune." So when Dayong returned to work, he did exactly what his mother told him to do.

This year he was in charge of a crew of 60 workers building a bridge in Rongchang County. One afternoon when they were about to get off work, two to three tons of steel poles that were hanging from the crane suddenly let loose and fell. The the arm of the crane had been hovering above the bridge and for some unknown reason the hook suddenly loosened and the steel poles crashed onto the bridge. The bridge was being built over a fast flowing river. The crew was working on the uncompleted part of the bridge, the only thing below them rushing water. The connecting part of the bridge had not yet been built, and when they saw what was about to happen, they had nowhere to run. They could only squat down and cover their heads, shaking non-stop and waiting for certain death.

Dayong immediately told everyone to silently recite, "Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!" There was a loud commotion as the steel poles struck the bridge. But all the poles seemed to have grown eyes and avoided striking the workers. They all fell either in front of or behind or to the left or right of each person. One pole narrowly missed someone's shoulders, another almost missed someone's back, still another tore someone's clothes, but in the end, not one person was hurt. The workers were pale with fright. Their legs were weak from the shock and they could not stand up for awhile. Dayong let them take the next day off to recover. Two of the newer workers said that this was too frightening and they wanted to quit. But all of them said that it was the Falun talisman that had protected them from disaster. They all agreed that it was Falun Dafa that had saved them. They said that they had experienced first hand the miraculousness of Dafa and expressed their gratitude towards Master and Falun Dafa from the bottom of their hearts. They all sincerely gave thanks to Falun Dafa!
