PHILADELPHIA--Several musicians in the audience at the Divine Performing Arts (DPA) matinee on Saturday in Philadelphia were stunned by the rich content and beauty of the show.

"The orchestra was fantastic, very accomplished," said Mr. Gammarino, a trumpet and percussion musician and music teacher.

"The orchestra was fabulous," said Mr. Brown, a jazz and blues bass player. "The way they blended eastern and western instruments was so well done. Whoever wrote the music knew what they were doing; very nice, very well done."

He particularly enjoyed the two-string erhu solo performance. It was "just phenomenal" and "so beautiful" to him.

"It was just perfect," said Mrs Gammarino, a former performer and wife of Mr. Gammarino. "It was exciting. The costumes were wonderful; their interpretation, their expressions. It was just top notch."

The Gammarino's daughter, Stephanie, loved the costumes and dancers. She was surprised to see how diverse the Chinese culture is.

"It was awesome to learn so much about it," she said.

Mr. Brown said his wife cried during the Falun Gong-related performances.

"They were very poignant and imbued with a spiritual reverence for life--the theme that carries through the whole show, and was very inspiring," said Mr. Brown.

He said the show was "fantastic, beautiful, and inspiring." Each dance piece was very unique with "fantastic" choreography and "elegant" and "graceful" dancers.

"I loved it! I am speechless actually," said Mr. Brown.
