My Husband and I Were Persecuted by Chinese Communist Party Members in Bingcao Township, Shenzhou City, Hebei Province

Feb. 23, 2008

(Clearwisdom.net) One day in the later half of 2007, Chinese Communist Party (CCP) members in our village led officials from Bingcao Township to our residence. They illegally ransacked our home, and then they arrested my husband and extorted money from us.

At around 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. on October 12, 2007, village Party secretary Yu Xiaoqun and village head Yu Xiaoluan led Bingcao Township Party secretary Xiaohui, police station head Zhang Ran and 7-8 policemen to our home and they knocked at our door. They did not say much but pushed me aside and barged into our home. They took down the photo of Master which I had hung on the wall.

At this time, I came into the room and told them, "Please don't do this, this is not good for you. Please don't touch the photo of my Master."

At that time, I was alone at home. My husband had gone to the city to work. Despite what I said, they still ransacked my home and took away my Falun Gong books and truth-clarifying materials. They also took my satellite dish, VCDs, a mobile phone, a passport, an identity card, and a bank savings book with a 7800 yuan balance.

I told them, "Please stop persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Practitioners are all good people who will not hurt anyone. You must differentiate between good and bad. In this way you all will have good futures." I had just finished saying this when someone slapped me two times. I said, "Please don't do this, this is not good for you." He said, "If you continue talking, I will beat you to death. Not to mention you, even if a dozen of you died we don't care!" They walked out as they said this and two of them stayed behind to wait for my husband.

At around 7:00 p.m. one of their phones rang and he said, "We managed to block his way, lets go quickly and arrest him." However my husband managed to escape.

On the second day, I received a notice from the credit union telling me that I had lost my savings book. The personnel of the township government and police station went there three times to withdraw my money with my savings book but were unsuccessful. Because they could not get the money, they tried many times to organize an arrest of my husband. After my husband was taken to the police station, they coerced him to withdraw all his savings before they let him go.
