London: The Chinese Spectacular Strikes a Chord With the Audience and Receives Rave Reviews from People from All Walks of Life

(Clearwisdom.net) The Divine Performing Arts Touring Company presented four shows to packed audiences from February 22 to 24, 2008, at the world-class venue, The Royal Festival Hall, in London. More than ten people lined up in the lobby prior to the final show on Sunday, waiting for last minute cancellations so that they could enjoy the divine beauty of the Chinese Spectacular. Over the three days, theatergoers from different backgrounds and occupations and all walks of life offered high praise for the Divine Performing Arts. The following are brief interviews with several audience members.

MP: The performance was fascinating, I hope to learn more about China and Chinese Culture

MP Nick Hurd brought his twin daughters to the show. When being interviewed by the New Tang Dynasty Television (NTDTV), MP Nick Hurd said, "We think the show is fantastic. It's the first time for us to see traditional Chinese dances. The show is fascinating. The forms, movements, and colors are all very beautiful. I hope to learn more about China and Chinese culture in future." MP Hurd's eleven-year-old daughters also said that they enjoyed watching the show.

Union Bank of Switzerland employee: It is really very good, I'll definitely come next year

Richard and his wife came to see the Chinese Spectacular show with his father-in-law, who came to London from Peru to visit them. Richard works at the London Branch of the Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS). UBS is the largest commercial bank in Switzerland and also one of the world's largest multinational banks. When asked how he felt about the Chinese Spectacular show, he used "very" six times to describe it. "The dances are very good, very exciting, very spectacular, very fantastic, very good indeed, very enjoyable. I'll definitely come to see it next year." Richard's father-in-law said, "This is a very important presentation of ancient Chinese culture. Very special. I've never seen such a perfect performance before."

Art teacher: A very good introduction to Chinese arts, dance, and music

Sue Springett teaches oil painting and basic Chinese painting. She praised the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular as a very good performance. She commented, "The colors are beautiful, the dances are very elegant, splendid and spectacular! It's a very good introduction to Chinese art, dance and music."

Oncologist: I'll recommend the Divine Performing Arts to my friends in the UK

Thirty minutes after the show was over, audience members were still trickling out of the theater. The reporter met Mr. Huang and Ms. Zheng in the lobby just as they were about to leave. Mr. Huang, a specialist in Oncology, and his wife are Chinese from Malaysia. The couple decided to come see the show after Ms. Zheng received a flyer about it on the street.

They said they had enjoyed the show very much. Mr. Huang said more than once, "Fantastic, brilliant, really very, very nice!" Ms. Zheng, who has studied dance, commented on the brightly colored, beautiful costumes. Mr. Huang added that the performers' dance postures were beautiful, too.

They said that the two-and-a-half-hour performance was very worthwhile and that hey would definitely come to see it next year. Mr. Huang said that in the Western countries, it's quite rare to see such presentations of traditional Chinese culture, so they would certainly recommend the Chinese Spectacular to their friends in the UK.
