(Clearwisdom.net) Retiree Sally Bezviner has worked as a dancer, dress designer, and a management consultant. She and her daughter Dawn Bezviner came to see the Chinese New Year Splendor at Radio City Music Hall on February 4, 2008. After the show, Sally wasn't ready to leave quite yet. She said, "These artists are top notch. I'd like to see them again. I think the show was amazing and every artist is top notch. They danced so lightly, as if they were floating on the stage. It was absolutely beautiful. Every part of the show was so enjoyable."
Sally Bezviner and her daughter Dawn BezvinerSally used to perform as a ballroom dancer. When asked about the program, she smiled and said, "It's very interesting. The introduction by the hosts and the program brochure helped us understand the stories, which are quite interesting. I have seen Chinese dancing performances before, but I think this one is the best. I hope to see the show again next year."
Dawn is a computer engineer and said about the show, "I loved it from beginning to end. The artists' movements were so graceful. Before I saw the show, I had no idea what classical Chinese dance was like. I liked how the hosts explained the background of the stories and what the movements meant. The backdrop helps to create an atmosphere for the program. This was truly a magical experience, and I would strongly recommend it."
"I liked every performer, not just the dancers," added Sally, "Though I don't speak Chinese, I could follow the songs by reading the English translation on the screen. Their voices were amazing and different. I enjoyed the special effects. It felt as if I had seen a concert, ballet, and opera in one show that took the best of everything. The performers are so talented that they can be in different programs and do different dances. The fans and the musical instruments were so unique. "
Before they left, Sally said, "The soprano's singing touched my heart. What she sang was meant for a man, I think, but she did it powerfully and beautifully. It was a tremendous show, and we really want to see them again."
