Mar. 3

Ms. Qi Jinling, 48 years old, was imprisoned in Qianjin Forced Labor Camp in Harbin City. She was beaten severely by camp guards. Her head was injured and she couldn't care take of herself

Mar. 4

Mr. Yang Baochun has been illegally detained for eight years. He lost his right leg as result of tortures in Handan City Forced Labor Camp, then CCP authorities put him in a psychiatric hospital, where he suffered all kinds of abuses.

Ms. Zhao Tianxiu was arrested using false evidence and then imprisoned, tortured and subjected to forced labor.

Mar. 7

Three elderly women, an unlikely threat to the Communist government, were recently detained and subjected to mental and physical abuse in an effort to force them to renounce their beliefs.

An elderly practitioner was arrested in December, 2007 and some of his property confiscated. He was later found dead in his home. The police will not release information on the case, but an independent report states Mr. Hu was seen after having suffered severe torture.

Mar. 9

On February 24, 2008, when Mr. Chen Baofeng was driving his taxi out of town, the police arrested him and his passengers. They were transferred to the 1st Detention Center of Chaoyang City on March 3, 2008. Mr. Chen was died the same night, and thus far, the family has still not been allowed to see his body.

Mr. Yi was sentenced to six years in prison after the police found a Falun Gong book and flyer on him at a bus station on August 19, 2001. Due to long-term mistreatment and tortures in jail, he was paralyzed and bedridden. Not until he was in critical condition did the prison released him. He died on February 13, 2008 at age 45.
