(Clearwisdom.net) Since the beginning of 2008, especially during the "two conferences," (the Chinese National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference) there were many cases of persecution of Falun Gong practitioners across the country. In Beijing alone, more than 100 practitioners have been arrested and more than 200 practitioners were arrested in Hebei Province.

As the Fa-rectification comes to an end and the evil factors become less and less, they are unable to organize a large-scale persecution as they once did. Now is also the critical moment when large numbers of sentient beings need to be saved. However, the persecution continues. How can this happen? How can we deal with it?

The practitioners in our area had an urgent sharing and found that many practitioners had such thoughts. The only difference was their level of understanding. In 2008, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) wanted to convene the "two conferences" again. What's more, there is also the Beijing Olympics that they want to use to further disguise their true nature. Therefore, the situation has been even more tense and the evil forces have accelerated their persecution of Falun Gong and have arrested more practitioners. This is their last minute struggle. Some practitioners have totally accepted the CCP's agenda and have completely failed to recognize that it was the arrangement of the old forces and that we should negate it at once. Some practitioners thought it was not right and should negate it but failed to do so throughly. Still, others thought they did not have this kind of notion, however; when looking more carefully, they did find that this kind of notion flashed through their mind but it was mostly ignored. Now think about it, if one person thinks this way, or two people think this way, it's not a big deal. But if many practitioners think this way, then it will become a strong attachment. This will provide the old forces with an excuse to persecute us. They would think that since that many practitioners thought this way and were afraid of the persecution, it was really accepting the persecution. Then, the old forces would believe that they should let the persecution happen to test if you are still afraid of it or still accepting it.

It was practitioners' mentalities that made it possible for the present persecution situation. As Dafa practitioners, we must each look inward to check every thought of ours. If we find any attachment of fearing persecution, we must negate and eliminate it at once, and should not give any excuse to the old forces to take advantage. At the same time, we must have very powerful righteous thoughts. At the critical moment when sentient beings are in danger of being eliminated, practitioners should let go of life and death and try our best to clarify the truth and encourage people to withdraw from the CCP and its subordinate organizations. What we are doing is the greatest and most sacred thing in the universe. However, the evil factors use practitioners' human thoughts as excuses to conduct the so-called test to persecute practitioners who are saving sentient beings. Their deeds seriously interfere with the salvation of sentient beings. This shows that the evil factors are really warped and unreasonable. Our Teacher would not admit the old force's arrangement nor would practitioners. We must throughly negate all their arrangements. The evil factors are not in the position to test us but must be eliminated.

We must justly and assertively do well the Three Things and should not be afraid of the evil factors. As a matter of fact, they are the ones that are really in fear. They have been timid, nervous, and unsure in their persecution of practitioners. We must clearly understand this and position ourselves correctly. We are the Fa-rectification Period Dafa Practitioners. Teacher also gave us all the Buddha Fa divine powers as well as the Fa's power that would destroy all the evil factors in the universe. Teacher said,

"What do a handful of wretched creatures above or on the earth amount to? " (Greetings)

"Nor is human history a recreation ground created for the evil to display its viciousness. " (To the 2005 European Experience Sharing Conference)

We must walk the path Teacher arranged for us. We must believe in Dafa and Teacher. We have the power to eliminate the evil factors.

At the same time we must regain the initiative, step up our efforts in sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate all the evil forces and evil factors, and clear away the situation in which practitioners have been persecuted. We need also to expose the evildoers and their evil deeds and help to strengthen the righteous thoughts of those detained fellow practitioners. Let's launch attacks both within and without to destroy the evil's den, free the detained practitioners unconditionally and have the evildoers who persecuted the practitioners receive immediate retribution in this lifetime.

At the time when I was about to finish this article, New Tang Dynasty Television broadcast the plan declared by the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong to start the "Human Rights Torch Relay" in China. Some practitioners were extremely excited and ran around spreading the news. Some practitioners felt that it worked off their anger, therefore their hearts became unsteady. Fellow practitioners, we cannot use human notions to address anything in this world. These are just the needs of the Fa-rectification and we cannot depend on changes in the external environment. We should not rely on everyday people. On the contrary, people are relying on us to be saved. Therefore, how can we pin our hopes on everyday people? We are the leading characters who are most responsible for the Fa-rectification process. Therefore, we must position ourselves righteously since our mentality will decide the changes in the human world. Human mentality would make the result worse. We must draw lessons from the past, such as "relying on the premier" or relying on the "result of the two conferences" to do our job. We should have righteous thoughts and righteous deeds, we should not be affected by external situations and we should steadily do the three things well.
