(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of April 27, 2008, people from various walks of society in Sydney gathered in Belmore Park, near the Central Railway Station, to rally in support of 35 million courageous withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its related organizations. Many large banners were displayed which read "The CCP will receive retribution from heaven, quit the CCP to save your life," "Heaven is Eliminating the CCP, the CCP is about to be Eliminated," "Everyone Stand Up Against the CCP's Brutal Regime," and "Welcoming China's New Era." Local residents and leaders of community groups condemned the CCP's brutal violations of human rights in their speeches.

North Shore radio presenter Mr. Stephen Sim said, "I hope Chinese people will be able to enjoy the right to believe and their dignity."

North Shore radio presenter Mr. Stephen Sim said in his speech, "I was born in the free society of Australia. I also know the things that have happened in China. I hope Chinese people will be able to enjoy the rights to believe and their dignity."

Mr. Sim also said, "During the past three years, more than 35 million Chinese people have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party and its related organizations. This is a very big number. People cannot overlook this figure,--it is more than twice the population of Australia. Since 1949, the Chinese Communist regime has used labor camps, and death camps to persecute its own people, for example, its persecution of Falun Gong. Falun Gong is not any type of religion or evil belief, they are only a group of people who practice "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance," but they are being murdered. For me as an individual, I feel that I have a responsibility, a duty, to stop what is happening in China. If I do not stand here today to make this speech, I would feel guilty. I stand here today as an Australian citizen, to support their withdrawal from the Chinese Communist Party, and I feel proud. Every banner here sends a message, and that is to end the brutal dictatorship of the CCP."

Human rights activist Mike Dalby called with a resonant voice, "Falun Dafa is good! Christianity is good! Catholics are good! Chinese Communist Party is bad! I am against the Communist Party, I support freedom! We have freedom in this country of Australia. Why is there no freedom in China? I do not want to see this any more in the future." At the rally, Mr. Dalby also called for the Australian government to address the current human rights situation in China, in particular, to stop the organized organ harvesting on Falun Gong practitioners for profit.

Leader of the Chinese Labor Party Mr. Fang Yuan said at the rally, "Today I am very glad to be here with everyone to celebrate such a joyful occasion. More than 35 million people have withdrawn from the evil specter of the Chinese Communist Party. In less than three years, so many people have quit. This tells us that people have no confidence in the CCP. Marxism has poisoned Chinese people through the CCP's evil specter, but at the same time, Marxism is poisoning people within the CCP itself. I know that many CCP members are people with compassion. To awaken these members of the CCP and completely uproot the poison that has brought much harm to Chinese people, to prompt people to withdraw from the CCP--this is a magnificent task, and a very important one that we must do."

President of the Australian branch of the Federation for a Democratic China Professor Zhang Xiaogang said, "Firstly, let me congratulate the 35 million people who have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations. I feel the disintegration of the CCP is not only reflected in the number of people, but most importantly, its spirit has already disintegrated. The CCP ideologies no longer form its fulcrum. Its last remaining empowering drug is the so-called nationalism and manipulation of patriotic notions." He continued, "What does it mean to be patriotic? If these people do not love Chinese people and do not fight for the rights of Chinese people, is that patriotic? In the CCP's history, it has sold lands that belonged to China, damaged the wellbeing of Chinese people, and massacred Chinese people. We should all clearly distinguish between our nation and the Communist Party. To be truly patriotic is to expose the CCP's past and the harm it continues to do to China."

Historian Professor Li Yuanhua said, "The Chinese Communist Party has always mingled ideas of the Party and our nation. The Chinese Communist regime is not China; to love our country is not to love the Party. It is not the same idea. As a nation, and a population, China has existed for thousands of years. Yet the Chinese Communist Party only has 80 years of history and has only ruled China for 50 years. The people who are truly patriotic have deep concern for the pains of its people and are not loyal to just one government body or political party. Quyuan [a renowned figure in Chinese history] once said, 'Sighing to cover my tears of sorrow, sadness arises for the pains of our people,' and Du Fu [a renowned Chinese poet in ancient history] told of, 'The stench of wine and meat waft from Emperor Zhu's gates, on the road lie bodies of those who froze to death.' They are people who truly loved our country. According to CCP standards, they would be labeled guilty of 'maliciously attacking the government,' and thrown into jail. Is it 'patriotic' to protect a brutal regime? One should feel responsibility for China."

Mr. Li Yuanhua said, "I recommend the "Nine Commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party" to everyone. Quit the CCP. Not standing on the side of evil is the strongest form of love for our nation. China and our people will have hope when an evil regime no longer rules China and suppresses its people.

Writer Mr. Ma Hengjun said, "Whether a person is good or evil cannot be determined by his or her role in society, but is dependent on their thoughts. Moral character determines one's thoughts, whether it is good or bad. Yet the thoughts of the CCP are absolutely anti-universe and oppose the heavens. One must be clearheaded in the face of an issue as significant as this. Hurry and quit the CCP."

During the activity, many passersby stopped to watch and sign the petitions of support. After the rally concluded, participants began another wall of courage with banners containing messages of truth and facts. Numerous pedestrians used their cameras to capture the precious moment to be recorded in history.
