1. [Chongqing] Mr. Tian Yicheng Died
Mr. Tian Yicheng, in his 50s, was an employee from the Jiangbei Coal Mine in Chongqing. He had been sentenced to forced labor and put into forced labor camps several times. One of his legs was disabled while in detention. Mr. Tian became paralyzed in 2007 and led a difficult life. He died on March 17, 2008.
2. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Ms. He Xianggu Stages a Hunger Strike in the Baimalong Forced Labor Camp
Ms. He Xianggu was arrested on April 23, 2008. She has been on a persecution protest hunger strike for 47 days in Baimalong Forced Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City. Ms. He is extremely weak and has difficulty walking, but the labor camp authorities still refuse to release her.
3. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Gui Youyun Tortured; Her Life is in Peril
Personnel from the Zhuhui District 610 Office in Hengyang City arrested Ms. Gui Youyun and put her in a detention center at the end of May 2008. Because Ms. Gui refused to give up practicing Falun Gong, the police tortured her using different methods. She is in critical condition.

4. [Hebei Province] The Persecution of Mr. Jia Hongjiang in the Baoding City Prison
Mr. Jia Hongjiang from Tangshan City is a new practitioner who started practicing Falun Gong when in the Baoding City Prison. He is being persecuted, and the guards are denying all his family's visits.

5. [Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province] The Police Arrested Ms. Liu Zhongmin
Officers Wang Shubo and Li Jianfei from the 610 Office in Suihua City broke into Ms. Liu Zhongmin's home and arrested her on June 4, 2008. They ransacked her home and confiscated some Dafa books, a computer, and a printer. Officers continue to monitor Ms. Liu's home and attempt to arrest more practitioners.

Forty-six-year-old Mr. Guo Qingyin lives in Beiliuzhuang Village, Wangqiao Township, Guantao County, Handan City. Personnel from the Fangzhai Police Station arrested him and ransacked his home on the morning of June 7, 2008. He is being held in the county police department.

Personnel from the Dudian Development District Police Department arrested five practitioners from the Bilin Community in early June 2008. They are Ms. Huang Yuping, Ms. Wei Jinzhi, Mr. Shi Yongjiu and his wife, and a practitioner surnamed Qin. Their homes were ransacked.

Ms. Zhang Shuying lives in Zhenyan Village, West Tiangezhuang Town, Miyun County, Beijing. Personnel from the town's police station and from the county's domestic security division arrested Ms. Zhang. She is being held in the county's detention center.

Ms. Wang Shunzhi and Ms. Zhang Jinyu were reported to the police on May 12, 2008, for clarifying the truth about Falun Gong to several students. They were arrested on May 13, 2008. After a 15-day detention, they were sentenced to one year of forced labor.
14. [Tai'an City, Shandong Province] Mr. Lu Youtang Arrested
Personnel from the Dongguan Police Station in Tai'an City and from the Garden Community arrested 60-year-old Mr. Lu Youtang at his home at 11:00 a.m. on June 2, 2008. Mr. Lu is employed by the city's tax bureau.
15. [Wendeng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Song Xiuhua and Ms. Bi Keying Arrested
Ms. Song Xiuhua and Ms. Bi Keying were arrested on June 6, 2008 for clarifying the facts about Falun Gong. Police ransacked their homes. The two are being held in the Wendeng City Detention Center.
Police authorities in Wendeng City have arrested five practitioners since May 22, 2008.
16. [Beijing] Ms. Pei Hongxia and Ms. Liu Jingfang Arrested
Ms. Pei Hongxia and Ms. Liu Jingfang were arrested on May 27, 2008. They are being held in the Miyun County Detention Center.
17. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Mr. Liu Yonghui, Mr. Zhou Mingheng, and Mr. Yang Zhiguo from Gangyaoling Town in the Nanpiao District work in the Huludao City Ship Factory. Personnel from the Huludao City Frontier Defense Police Station arrested them from their dorm as they were doing the Falun Gong exercises. Mr. Zhou successfully escaped and is now living away from home to avoid persecution. The other two practitioners' whereabouts are unknown.
18. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Nie Yongxiu Sentenced to Forced Labor
Ms. Nie Yongxiu from Wanhe Township, Peng'an County, Nanchong City, was sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor and is being held in Nanmusi Forced Labor Camp.
19. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhao Yingmei and Her Daughter Ms. Huang Fangli Sentenced to Imprisonment
Ms. Zhao Yingmei and her daughter, Ms. Huang Fangli, were arrested last year. Tianhe District Court has sentenced Ms. Zhao to two years in prison and Ms. Huang to seven years. The two have appealed and are being held in the district's detention center.
20. [Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province] Ms. Liu Junli Arrested
Ms. Liu Junli was arrested on June 1, 2008, when she clarified the truth about Falun Gong in her hometown of Changsha City. She is being held in the Zhuzhou City Detention Center.
Ms. Liu, 60, was held in Baimalong Forced Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City beginning in 2000 for three years. Her family worries about her a great deal. Ms. Liu's husband and son in Shenzhen City wish she could be released.
21. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] The Whereabouts of Ms. Liu Shuzhen and Ms. Wang Yulan Unknown
Sixty-seven-year-old Ms. Liu Shuzhen and 58-year-old Ms. Wang Yulan live on Jiangjun Yigong Street in the Shuncheng District, Fushun City. They clarified the truth on June 6, 2008, but disappeared and may have been arrested. Police ransacked Ms. Liu's home that night and confiscated some Dafa books. The two women's whereabouts are unknown.
22. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
Personnel from Cengshan Town 610 Office arrested Ms. Fan Qingyun, Ms. Chen Min, Mr. Luo Jichuan, and Ms. Wang Lihua from Liangxinpu Village in the Junshan District, Yueyang City, on June 2, 2008. The police also ransacked Ms. He Ruiping's home on June 1, 2008.
23. [Tianjin] Mr. Wu Jian Arrested
Mr. Wu Jian was arrested at his home on May 23, 2008. He is being held in the Nankai Detention Center in Tianjin City. This is his third arrest. The police also arrested two other practitioners.
24. [Dazhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Huang Daoyu and Mr. Luo Chaoming Arrested
Ms. Huang Daoyu, in her 70s, is from Xuanhan County, Dazhou City. Police arrested her on June 4, 2008, when she was distributing Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials in Nanba Town, Xuanhan County. Ms. Huang is being held in the county's detention center.
Mr. Luo Chaoming, in his 60s, is from Dazhou City. He went to Mr. Ding's home to give him Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials on March 7, 2008, but the police were already ransacking Mr. Ding's home; they arrested him. Mr. Luo is being held in the county detention center.
25. [Beijing] Three Practitioners Arrested
Policemen from the Pingu District arrested Ms. Zhao Guimei, Ms. Yang Xiaofeng, and Mr. Li Zhijian from Shilinxia Resort District in Huangsongyu Township. The police took them to a 610 Office-administered brainwashing center.
26. [Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wu Wenfeng Held at the Shangganling Detention Center
Personnel from the Youhao Street Police Precinct arrested Mr. Wu Wenfeng in the Youhao District of Yichun City. He is being held in the Shangganling Detention Center.
27. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Pingjuan and Ms. Wang Jingzhi Arrested
Personnel from the Shenze County Police Department arrested Ms. Liu Pingjuan and Ms. Wang Jingzhi from Shenze Town, Shenze County, Shijiazhuang City, on the night of June 6, 2008. They are being held in the county detention center.

Personnel from the Yueyang District Political and Security Committee and from the 610 Office arrested Ms. Kuang Changyun at 8:00 a.m. on June 4, 2008. The arrest happened when Ms. Kuang clarified the truth in a market. The police ransacked her home and confiscated some Dafa books, a picture of Master, and some Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials. Ms. Kuang is being held in a detention center.

Ms. Peng Wenxiu, 53, was arrested on the afternoon of June 4, 2008. According to a witness, the police carried her and put her into a vehicle. Her whereabouts are unknown.

Personnel from the Yishui County 610 Office, from a police station, and from the domestic security division arrested Ms. Yang Mingxia on the morning of June 5, 2008. Ms. Yang is from Xujiawa Village, Yishui Town, Yishui County, and is being held in the county's detention center.

Seven practitioners are being held in the Youyan Autonomous County. Mr. Zhang Xianhao, in his 40s, is from Dagou Village, Shimiaozi Town, Youyan Autonomous County. He was arrested in Muniu Township on May 25, 2008. Mr. Long Baoqing, in his 50s, from Youyan Town, was arrested on the morning of May 13, 2008. The whereabouts of the other five practitioners are unknown.
36. [Shanghai] Mr. Xu Jianxin Taken to Qingpu Brainwashing Center
Mr. Xu Jianxin from the Minxing District, Shanghai, was taken to Qingpu Brainwashing Center at the end of April 2008. Mr. Xu was held in a forced labor camp and shocked with electric batons in 2004.

Policemen from Jidong County broke into Ms. Chen Guirong's home at 2:00 p.m. on June 5, 2008. They confiscated a picture of Master, a copy of Zhuan Falun, and a banner reading, "Truth, Compassion and Tolerance." Ms. Chen was not at home during the ransacking.

Personnel from the Tuchengzi Police Station arrested 41-year-old Mr. Su Xianwei from Lushun City on March 23, 2008. They held him in the Yaojia Detention Center in Dalian City for 47 days and then sentenced him to two years of forced labor. Mr. Su is being held in a brainwashing center in the Dalian City Drug Rehabilitation Center.

Personnel from the Shijiazhuang City Police Department arrested Ms. Qi Hongjin on June 5, 2008. They claimed that they would hold her for 15 days.
40. [Liangshan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhou Lianmei, Ms. He Chaofen and Mr. Zhou Lianke Arrested
Personnel from the Dechang County Domestic Security Division arrested Ms. Zhou Lianmei on March 29, 2008. Soon after her release, the police arrested Ms. Zhou again and took her to Sankeshu Detention Center.
Ms. He Chaofen and Mr. Zhou Lianke were also arrested on March 29, 2008.

Ms. Cai Fengzhen was arrested in January 2008. Her current circumstances are unknown. Ms. Cai's son lives alone now.

Ms. Wang Jinhua, in her 50s, was arrested at her home at noon on May 15, 2008. She was taken to the Henan Province Women's Forced Labor Camp on May 30, 2008.

Personnel from the Qiaokou 610 Office arrested Ms. Yao Yulan at her home in Wuhan City and took her to the Etouwan Brainwashing Center on May 30, 2008.

Ms. Li Xueqin, 40, was reported to police for clarifying the truth to her students on May 17, 2008. Personnel from the Qingshan Police Station arrested her and admitted her to the Erzhigou No.1 Detention Center in Wuhan City. Ms. Li was held there for 13 days and then transferred to the Erzhigou Custody Center.
47. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Several Practitioners' Homes Ransacked
Personnel from the Sili Street Administrative Office and from the local police station ransacked several practitioners' homes between June 2 and June 5, 2008.
48. [Fuzhou City, Fujian Province] Ms. Lu Huizhu Arrested on June 2, 2008, for Distributing Falun Gong Truth Clarification Materials

Personnel from the Tianshan District Police Department in Urumqi City arrested Mr. Jiang Ping, an associate professor in the Xinjiang Agriculture University, at his home at 9:00 p.m. on May 29, 2008. They confiscated a computer, two printers, two paper cutters, 13 boxes of white paper, and some truth-clarifying materials. Mr. Jiang was first held in the police department and then transferred to a forced labor camp several days later.

Jinqiao Town Comprehensive Administration Office Head Su Xiaobin and several policemen ransacked Mr. Zhou Fuquan's home at 10:00 p.m. on May 25, 2008. They confiscated two copies of "Minghui Weekly," a set of Master's lecture CDs, and a copy of Master's writings.
