(Clearwisdom.net) On June 26, 2008 a long wall of photos was prepared in front of the parliament building in The Hague. The photos told the story of Falun Gong, from its introduction to the present.

Re-enacted torture scenes with a tiger bench and confinement in a small cage were shown to the public and members of parliament passing by, while other methods of torture were displayed on banners.

Dutch Falun Gong practitioners have, during the last couple of years, regularly talked about the persecution. They inform and advise members of different parties about the human rights violations by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) against Falun Gong practitioners during the last nine years in China.

In the afternoon, Joël Voordewind (CU), spokesperson of foreign affairs, came and met three Falun Gong refugees who recently came to the Netherlands. They expressed their gratitude for the hospitality of the Dutch government and for their willingness to help them. They also asked for help for other Falun Gong practitioners in jail in Thailand, who were not so fortunate.

Besides the parliament there are also many ministries based in The Hague. On this day in the building of the ministry of justice they held an evacuation practice. This means that everyone who works in that building had to go outside. This was a perfect opportunity for Falun Gong practitioners present to hand out flyers about the CCP's atrocity of live organ harvesting to the employees of the justice department. When one of these people read the flyer she expressed lots of criticism towards those persons from the Dutch government who are going to the Olympics in spite of these brutal human rights violations.
