(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners rallied in Chinatown in Calgary, Canada on the morning of July 20, 2008, calling for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong and all Chinese people.
CTV and Calgary Sun interviewed practitioner Jinling Huang, who was illegally jailed in a forced labor camp in China.

The attendees first observed one minute of silence to commemorate the 3,168 Falun Gong practitioners confirmed killed in the persecution.
Jeff Yang, a representative from the Falun Dafa Association, gave a speech. He condemned the Chinese Communist Party for its inhuman crimes and its persecution of Falun Gong in the past nine years. He pointed out that though the CCP has utilized all government forces to suppress Falun Gong, practitioners persist with their beliefs and never yield to the pressure. It proves one truth of the cosmos, he said: "Justice prevails."
Mr. Zhang, a representative from the Calgary Quit the CCP Service Center, spoke at the rally. He called on all Chinese people to recognize the evil nature of the CCP and to resign from the CCP and its affiliate organizations immediately for the sake of their own futures.
Michael Wing spoke representing western practitioners. He illustrated the beauty of Falun Dafa and condemned the CCP's persecution of beliefs.
Ms. Yu talked about the torture she experienced in a China jail, and spoke out to condemn CCP atrocities. She called on all people to help end the persecution.
Mr. Decheng Lu, one of the three-noblemen of Tiananmen Square, attended the rally and gave a speech to support the endeavors against the persecution.
Five local media reported the rally including CTV and the Calgary Sun. CTV ran a feature story on Ms. Huang, who recently escaped from mainland China. She talked about the torture she experienced in a Chinese jail.
