My Understanding on When the Persecution Will End and When Practitioners Will Reach Consummation

Aug. 9, 2008 |   By a practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) I may have a deeply hidden attachment to time. A fellow practitioner once asked, "When will the persecution end? When will we reach consummation?" Every time a fellow practitioner asks this, I feel that he or she is forgetting that Dafa practitioners play the leading roles in ending the persecution and reaching consummation. This thought also questions our trust in Master and the Fa.

Master has clearly stated in his lectures,

"So in clarifying the truth, don't wait, don't rely on others, and don't just hope for changes in external factors." ("To All Students at the Nordic Fa Conference" from Essentials for Further Advancement II)

In "Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia U.S.A." Master stated,

"Absolutely don't think about any favors the old forces might do for us, or about how the ordinary society might help us. You are the ones saving the ordinary people's society, and you are the ones saving sentient beings!"

Truly ending this persecution requires effort from every practitioner in doing the three things.

If every practitioner had worked ten times harder in meeting Master's requirements for us, the persecution would have already ended.

Finally, I answered my fellow practitioner's question with this: Have we followed Master's requirements in sending forth righteous thoughts every day? Have we studied the Fa and diligently practiced the exercises? Have we saved the sentient beings we need to save? Moreover, have we told our friends and relatives that Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance is good, and Falun Dafa is good!? Have we helped people who want to quit the Chinese Communist Party to quit? Once we meet these requirements, and when conditions are ripe, the persecution will naturally end, and consummation will surely be achieved.

This practitioner no longer asks this question. He is busy cultivating.
