(Clearwisdom.net) Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Committee Secretary Sun Jinbo (male), Wang Fucai (male), of the 610 Office, and Dai Chunjie (male) of the Police Department in Laishui County, Hebei Province, implicated seven families and more than 20 people in their persecution of Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Xiufeng.
On July 10, 2008, just before dawn, Laishui County 610 Office Chief Wang Fucai, more than 20 Laishui Town officials, and officers from the Laishui Town Police Department went to the temporary residence of Ms. Liu Xiufeng. Ms Liu has been severely persecuted by the Laishui CCP. The officers and officials did an illegal search, seized personal property, and made arrests, causing Ms. Liu Xiufeng to faint. Wang Fucai was unconcerned about Ms. Liu's condition and gave orders to confiscate her personal belongings. Although unconscious, Ms. Liu was taken to the Laishui County Detention Center. While imprisoned, she suffered from brain and cardiovascular vessel dysfunction and fainted repeatedly in the detention center courtyard. She was left outside, shivering in the rain, and received no help. Her family asked that she be released, but Wang Fucai still ordered her to be imprisoned.
After Ms. Liu was arrested, the home of her elder brother, Liu Xiuhe, was illegally searched and ransacked twice by Zhaogezhuang Town, Laishui County, Party officials and the local police. At that time Ms. Liu's mother was ill, and these incidents caused her a tremendous amount of stress.
On the afternoon of July 10, 2008, about five officers from Laishui Town Police Station entered the home of Ms. Liu Xiufeng's younger sister, Ms. Liu Xiuhong. While being arrested she was manhandled, which triggered her heart condition, and she fell down. She was later taken to a hospital. Her husband's head was injured when he was hit with a large flashlight, and her daughter's arm was bruised due to the police brutality. Ms. Liu's daughter's computer and cell phone were taken. On July 14, 2008, officers from the Laishui Town Police Station took Ms. Liu Xiuhong from the hospital to the Laishui Detention Center, where she has been illegally imprisoned for 33 days.
The home of Ms. Liu Xiufeng's other younger sister, Ms. Liu Xiuying, was searched by CCP personnel and police from Zhaogezhuang Town, Laishui County. This was stressful for her family and disturbed them. Ms. Liu Xiuying's son, Mr. Liu Hanyu; his wife; and their four-month-old daughter were also arrested. Mr. Liu Hanyu's temporary residence was ransacked by the Laishui police. Mr. Liu Hanyu has been imprisoned for 36 days at the Laishui County Target Range, the training base for the armed forces department of the militia. His wife from Yi County, Ms. Jia Aifang, and their young daughter were arrested by Wang Fucai of the 610 Office and taken to Yi County, Hebei Province, where she was forced to write a written guarantee statement. Mr. Liu Hanyu's mother-in-law couldn't remain in the home under these stressful conditions and was compelled to travel to remote regions to work.
On the evening of July10, Ms. Liu Xiufeng's youngest sister's home was illegally searched twice by officers from the Laishui Town Police Station, which severely disturbed her entire family.
In December 2006, the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) issued statements regarding those that are persecuting of Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Liu Xiufeng. Those responsible included Laishui County Party Committee Secretary Sun Jinbo and Wang Fucai, the former police department director. Currently both Sun and Wang are continuing to persecute Ms. Liu Xiufeng and Falun Gong practitioners in the Laishui area.
