Trip to Taiwan Has Significant Meaning for Chinese Tourists (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) At most tourist sites in Taiwan, there is a service center where people can quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. The practitioners in the center provide information exposing CCP's crimes and introducing Falun Gong, and help tourists from mainland China to quit the CCP.

Mr. Jiang from Guangzhou said, "I have seen a lot of informational materials about Falun Gong at the tourist sites that I cannot see in mainland China. In China, we have no way to learn about Falun Gong."

Chikan Tower is one of Taiwain's famous tourist attractions. Across from the main entrance, one could see a large poster with a photo of a Falun Gong group practice. On top of the poster, there were the words "Falun Dafa is great", "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance" and the number of people who have quit CCP and its affiliated organizations. On the right side were two posters exposing the CCP's atrocities of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners and the CCP-staged Tiananmen Square self-immolation.

There is a TV showing the video program Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and Falun Gong information throughout the day beside the tower. The practitioners at this site come daily to explain the facts to tourists from mainland China and to help them to quit CCP and its affiliated organizations.

Practitioner Ms. Tu said, "At a weekend in September, it was raining. A tour group from Beijing came. One gentleman walked over and quietly handed over a note to a practitioner beside the posters. On the note was a list of 23 people, with their signatures, who wanted to quit CCP and its affiliated organizations."

Ms. Cheng, who is often at the site, said, "Tourists from mainland China walk together generally. Most of them dare not to take Falun Gong information materials. But some of them walk at the end or walk alone, and they are more daring in approaching us."

Practitioner Ms. Yang said, "One lady appeared to be walking alone on purpose. One of us stepped forward and asked her if she wanted to quit the CCP. She said, 'I have three people who want to quit CCP.'"

She continued, "A tour guide was supportive of the quitting the CCP initiative. He says to the tourists, 'Friends, on the left side is the service center for quitting the CCP. If any of you wants to quit CCP, please go ahead.'"

In May 2009, tourists from mainland China watched the performance of the Divine Land Marching Band in front of the Cape Eluanbi lighthouse

Cape Eluanbi is a popular tourist site. In Cape Eluanbi Park, there is an eye-catching poster with the words "Service Center for Quitting the CCP and Its Affiliated Organizations". The number of people who quit the CCP every day and contact information for doing so is also listed on the poster board.

One practitioner said, "One day, a group of tourists from China came. We greeted them and wished them a good trip. We told them to listen to and watch for information that they cannot find in China. We also asked them to take our materials to read after their return. Eight of them quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations on the spot."

A lady with a nickname Xinhao asked for information about Tiananmen Square Massacre. A practitioner gave her a booklet entitled "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party". Since she could not bring it back to China, she read it for a long time while she was with us."

On another day, a tourist handed over a note and quickly walked away. On the note was a list of 7 names who wanted to quit the CCP.
