(Clearwisdom.net) I am a 56-year old teacher from Weihai City, Shangdong Province. I will never forget the day November 15, 2007. I was riding my bike to work, when about 600 feet from a crossroad, a car crashed into me, sending me and my bike twirling into the air.

At the time, I felt a loud thump sound and in an instant, I was in the air somersaulting and then thrown hard on the ground. At that moment, I felt broken at the waist in two places. I could not move at all. The driver stopped the car, came over to me and tried to help me up, but I just couldn't get up.

The driver immediately called the 120 emergency hot line, and said to the operator at the other end that he had hit a person with his car. He barely finished talking when I felt something working on lower back, and I immediately felt better. I got up and the driver said, "Are you okay? You should go to the hospital and have a doctor check you out." I said, "I am fine, I don't need to go to the hospital."

I remembered my bike, it was lying on the roadside 10 feet away with the front tire twisted and the handle bar in the shape of an arched bridge. The driver offered me 200 yuan so I could buy a new bike. I said, "That's okay. I will have the bike repaired." He then took me and the bike to a bike repair shop and dropped me off at my work. He said, "Maybe you should have a doctor check you out?" I said, "I am fine. You can go now. Please don't drive so fast in the future. Safety first!" He nodded his head apologetically and left.

I recounted the bike accident to my colleagues at work. Surprisingly, they all said, "You were silly, really silly. How did you let him get away without asking for money?" One of them said, "You should have asked for at least 3 to 5000 yuan in this situation." He then said angrily, "What are you, crazy?" I was not angry or bothered by their comments. I simply smiled.

Afterward, I began to think about it. I thought it was strange that a car moving so fast crashed into me, sent me flying into the air, and then threw me hard on the ground, yet I was not hurt at all. I was very curious and I could not stop thinking about it. Then, I suddenly realized the answer was my wife. My wife has been practicing Falun Dafa for many years. Her practice benefited not only her, but her entire family! This is the evidence of the power of Falun Dafa. It dissolved the danger I encountered and saved me from peril.
