(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 7 provinces. In this report, 10 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 21 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Yuhe in Critical Condition After Being Brutally Tortured by Jilin Prison Guards
Currently, Ms. Liu Yuhe is being illegally detained at the Jilin Prison's #5 Supervision District. Due to her unshakable belief in Falun Gong, Ms. Liu was brutally punished several times by prison guards and other prisoners. Most recently, because she resisted her maltreatment, she was inhumanly tortured and put in solitary confinement in a small dark room. She is on the brink of death, and is incontinence and unable to speak. She is in critical condition in a tightly-secured hospital.

2. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang Zhengang and Two Others Arrested
On the morning of October 28, 2009, Mr. Zhang Zhengang, Mr.Jin Xianzhong and Mr. Hong Ruisheng were turned in while they were telling people the facts about Falun Gong in Wujiatun, Shahe Town, Sujiatun, and were arrested by officers from the Shahe Police Station. The police took them to the Sujiantun District Public National Security Bureau, and stole dozens of Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs from their home. In the evening, the three practitioners were transferred and detained at the Sujiantun Detention Center.
From 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. that night, officers from the Sujiantun District Public Security Bureau and the Dananmen Police Station went to Mr. Hong Ruisheng's home, ransacked his place and took away a laptop computer. The next day, they went to Mr. Zhang Zhengang's home and searched it.

3. [Haifeng County, Guangdong Province] Mr. Pan Zhihao Arrested
On August 23, 2009, Mr. Pan Zhihao was reported by a villager while he was clarifying the facts about Falun Gong to people and handing out Shenyun Performing Arts DVDs in the Chishanxiawei Village, Chengdong Town, Haifeng County. On the morning of September 22, agents from the city and county 610 Office, together with Zhou Wenzheng, the assistant head of Chengdong Police Station, and other officers broke into Mr. Pan's home, took a computer, a bronze sword, a gold necklace, a gold ring, a pair of gold earrings, and his van. They arrested Mr. Pan and his wife, Ms. Li Yin, and took them to the Haifeng Public Security Bureau, attempting to get a confession. That evening, Mr. Pan and his wife were transferred and detained at the Haifeng Detention Center.
4. [Daxinganling, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Liu Jingxun and His Wife, Ms. Tan Zhengrong Arrested
On October 29, 2009, officers from the local police station arrested Mr. Liu Jingxun and Ms. Tan Zhengrong. The police ransacked their home, confiscated a computer, Falun Dafa books and other personal belongings. They are being detained at the Zhong District's Detention Center.

5. [Fuyuan County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Tan Mingcheng's Home Illegally Ransacked
Mr. Tan Mingcheng lives in the Bagai Village, Zhuaji Town, Fuyuan County. On October 29, 2009, while he was away from home, police broke into his house, illegally ransacked it and took a computer, a printer, and Falun Dafa books worth about 5000 yuan. To avoid being arrested, he fled his home and became homeless.
6. [Yongji County, Jilin Province] Details of Ms. Zhao Mei's Persecution
At around 7:00 a.m. on October 30, 2009, four officers from the Yongji Police Department, Yongji National Security Division and Chengnan Police Station barged inside Ms. Zhao's home, confiscated Falun Dafa books and other personal belongings. Ms. Zhao was forced to jump from a third floor window, and injured her back and legs. She is currently in the Shuiyi bureau hospital for treatment and is closely monitored by police.

7. [Chifeng, Inner Mongolia] Mr. Zhao Arrested
Mr. Zhao from the Yuanbaoshan District was arrested on October 29, 2009.
8. [Tianjin City] Mr. Wei Guanghua Tortured in Gangbei Prison
Mr. Wei Guanghua from Tianjin City was sentenced to nine years in prison, and is being held in the Gangbei Prison. During his six years of imprisonment, he was subjected to brutal torture and is now in critical condition. His six foot-tall frame currently weighs less than 80 pounds.

9. [Tianjin City] Mr. Huang Liqiao and Mr. Xiao Shuqing Severely Tortured
Mr. Huang Liqiao and Mr. Xiao Shuqing were severely tortured while incarcerated at the Shuangkou Forced Labor Camp in Tianjin City.
In the Shuangkou Forced Labor Camp, guards tied Mr. Huang to a bed every day for a year. Mr. Xiao's hands and legs were also tied together to a small bench day-in and day-out. The prison guards instructed drug addict criminals to beat, verbally abuse and deprive them of sleep.
10. [Shanghai] Ms. Yang Manye Arrested a Second Time
Ms. Yang Manye lives in Shanghai City. At around 9:00 a.m. on October 22, 2009, agents from the 610 Office and officers from the Putou District National Security office arrested her in her home.
In January 2001, local police officers arrested her while she was handing out brochures about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was held in the Putou District Detention Center for nine months and then sentenced to a four-year prison term in the Songjiang Prison for Women. The authorities later added another nine months to her original term. While being detained in prison, she was forced to perform long hours of slave labor until she became extremely weak and fractured her knee, which required two operations. The guards deprived her of sleep, and she was not allowed to use the toilet or take a bath. She was subjected to forced-feedings, solitary confinement, and her body was tied to various objects.
Less than six months after she was released, in January 2006, the police ransacked her home while she was out telling people the facts about the persecution in Huahui Road, Putou District.
On the morning of June 6, 2009, police arrested her at home and took her to the Putou District Detention Center.
11. [Shanghai] Ms. Yang Manyan Arrested
On October 23, 2009, the police arrested Ms. Yang Manyan and took her to the Qingpu Brainwashing Center in Shanghai.
12. [Tianjin City] Ms. Kong Fanxiang Arrested
On October 30, 2009, Cheng Yanrui and other officers from the Xiaodongzhuang Dongli District Police Station took Ms. Kong into custody and illegally ransacked her home. She is being held at the Xinli Village, Donglic District Police Station.
13. [Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Deng Zhongfeng Arrested
Ms. Deng Zhongfeng, 52, is from Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province. At around 9:00 a.m. on October 25, 2009, officers from the Kuiguang Police Station took her into custody.
14. [Guan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Gao Xueying and Her Husband Arrested
On October 29, 2009, local police arrested Ms. Gao Xueying and her husband at the Lijiazhuang Luokou District, Jinan City while they were on their way to work. She was released that afternoon, but her husband's whereabouts are unknown.
15. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhao Shiheng and Others Arrested
Mr. Zhao Shiheng lives in the Zujia Village, Guchengjiedao in Shouguang City. At around 5:00 a.m. on October 23, 2009, officers from the Gucheng Police Station arrested him. Police officers then went to Antou Village and arrested another practitioner, Ms. Sang Fengying, her sister, and her husband as well. The police took two printers, two notebook computers and many Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs. Mr. Zhao is now being held at a detention center. Ms. Sang, her sister and her husband were released after the police extorted 10,000 yuan from them. Mr. Zhao's neighbors were also being implicated due to his arrest and the police extorted 9,000 yuan from them.

16. [Qingdao Shandong Province] Additional Information on the Arrest of Mr. Tian Yongjian
Mr. Tian Yongjian lives in the city of Qingdao. On August 1, 2009, local police arrested him, and he was held at the Jimo Detention Center. On September 23, 2009, Judge Sun Zhiyuan from the Jimo City Court sentenced him to an eight-year prison term. On the same day, the court also sentenced another practitioner, Mr. Fan Yanqi to a ten-year prison term. Mr. Tian is currently being detained at the Jinan Prison.
17. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Qilong Taken into Custody
Mr. Liu Qilong lives in the Lingzi Town, Zichuan District in Zibo City. On October 27, 2009, over ten officers from the Lingzi Town Police Station, along with personnel from the Zhoucun Public Security Bureau, broke into Mr. Liu's home. He was arrested and taken to the Dazhuang Detention Center in Zichuan District. A motorcycle and a large number of other valuable items were confiscated.
18. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Additional Information on Mr. Zhou Dongdong's Arrest
Mr. Zhou Dongdong lives in Jinan City, Shandong Province. He was arrested by police and taken to the Yaojia Police Station in Lixia District. While being detained, he went on a hunger strike to protest the injustice. The guards tortured and force-fed him.
19. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Qiao Honglin Arrested
Mr. Qiao Honglin, 64, is a resident of Tangshan City. On the morning of October 27, 2009, officers from the Yutian Public Security Bureau arrested him while he was visiting his sister, because he carried some truth clarification materials with him. They took him to the Yutian Detention Center. On October 28, the police searched his home and confiscated a printer and a large quantity of truth clarification materials.
20. [Jincheng City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Song Nianai and Ms. Xian Ling Illegally Detained
At around 4:00 p.m. on October 25, 2009, Ms. Song Nianai and Ms. Xian Ling were turned in while they told people the facts about Falun Gong in Zezhou Park, Jincheng City. At around midnight, they were arrested by officers from the Zezhou Police Station. The police ransacked their home and confiscated Falun Dafa books and large quantities of truth clarification materials. They are currently being held at the city's detention center.

21. [Xingning City, Guangdong Province] Additional Information on the Arrest of Mr. Xie Yujun
On the night of October 27, 2009, officers from the Wuhua Police Station arrested Mr. Xie while he was handing out flyers about the persecution of practitioners at the Wuhua Barbershop in Guangdong. He is being held at the Wuhua Detention Center.
At around 11:00 a.m. on October 28, Xing Zhengquan, deputy head of the Xingning City National Security office, together with agents from the Xingning City 610 Office, broke open the door of Mr. Xie's home. They stole a regular computer, a laptop computer, two cell phones, a MP5 player, a GPS and a modem.

22. [Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Lin Cuichan Arrested
Ms. Lin Cuichan, who is in her sixties, lives in Doumenjingan Town, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province. On October 18, 2009, local police officers took her into custody while she was telling people the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong in Zhongshan City. Three days later, she was taken to the Sanshui Brainwashing Center.

On 2000, she was held for eight months in the Zhuhai City Brainwashing Center.
On February 8, 2002, staff from Doumen, Zhuhai City 610 Office ransacked her home.
In mid-April 2002, she was arrested and taken to the Doumen Brainwashing Center.
On July 29, 2002, police handcuffed her, shackled her legs and transferred her from the Doumen Brainwashing Center to the Sanshui's Women's Education Center. She was illegally detained there for two years.
On March 12, 2003, she was illegally detained at the Zhuhai Brainwashing Center.
After she was released, agents from the 610 Office set up a surveillance on her and put a device on her telephone to track her activities.
