1. [Tianjin] Ms. Wei Guanghua on a Hunger Strike for Over One Year to Protest the Persecution at Gangbei Prison

According to reliable resources, Ms. Wei Guanghua and Mr. Zhou Xiangyang were on a hunger strike for over a year to protest the persecution at Gangbei Prison. Mr. Zhou has been rescued. Ms. Wei is still being persecuted in prison.

2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Yuying Detained at Yaojia Detention Center

Ms. Liu Yuying was unlawfully arrested and taken to the Haiqing Police Station of the Developing District while she was clarifying the truth on the morning of October 18, 2009. The police took her keys and ransacked her house. They took Dafa books as well as her personal belongings. In the afternoon, she was illegally detained at Yaojia Detention Center in Dalian.

3. [Guilin City, Guangxi Autonomous Region] A Practitioner from Shaodong, Hunan Province Arrested at Anxinzhou Internet Cafe

A practitioner from Shaodong, Hunan Province, was sent to Guangxi No. 1 Forced Labor Camp after being illegally arrested. Yesterday his family visited him and said he has been on hunger strike for 15 days to protest the persecution. He is displaying symptoms of severe sickness.

4. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Facts about the Persecution of Ms. Wang Shuzhi and Others

He Jie from Zhugen Town in the Wutongqiao District and seven to eight police officers broke into Ms. Wang Shuzhi's home, arrested her, and took her to the Leshan Brainwashing Center at 9 p.m. on September 18, 2009. On September 16, He Jie and two others went to Ms. Wang Shuzhi's home to harass her.

Last year, He Jie and others also arrested Ms. Wang Shuzhi and Ms. Li Zhongfang. Ms. Li was sentenced to two years of imprisonment by the Wutongqiao District Court.

Ms. Shen Guixiang, 56, from Shuangfu Town was arrested by ten people from the Shuangfu Township Office and Police Station, including Yu Yunkui, on September 17, 2009, while she was shopping at a market.

Mr. Tang Zhongqin, 58, was arrested and sent to a brainwashing center.

Mr. Zhang Shanqing, over 60, from Suji Town was arrested and taken to the Leshan Brainwashing Center.

Ms. Yu Birong (66 years old) from Dashuiwan Village, Zhuyuan Town, Jingyan County, was arrested by more than 20 police officers including Jiang Tiancai from the Jingyan County 610 Office and Wang Chang from the Zhuyuan Town Police Station.

Ms. Qin Suqiong, 46, from Yangliu Village, Yangliu Town, the Wutongqiao District, was monitored by Wang Jianqiang, director of Yangliu Township, and Xu Gaochao, a police officer from the Yangliu Police Station, on the morning of September 23. Using the excuse of having her come to the factory for a conversation, Lu Zhiqiang, political head at the Yangliu Town Police Station, deceived Ms. Qin and arrested her on the afternoon of September 24.

5. [Xingyang City, Henan Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Five practitioners from several villages near Guangwu Town were arrested by police from Guangwu Town on September 15 and 17, 2009. They are Ms. Li Na, Lao Liang, Dai Yun, Ms. Che Guirong, and Mr. Feng Jinling (in his 70s). Currently, Mr. Feng and Lao Liang are still being detained at Sanlizhuang Prison in Xingyang.

The rest of the practitioners have returned home. Their homes were all ransacked by the police.

Mr. Xu Renwu was arrested by police from Chengbei on the afternoon of March 14, 2009, while he was posting truth clarification materials at Xixixincheng, Chengbei, Guangan City. The police took his keys and ransacked his home, taking all his personal belongings, including a new computer, truth clarification materials, 10,000 yuan in cash, and his personal savings certificate. Mr. Xu is now in the Chengbei Detention Center.

Three days later, when Ms. Huang Zhihui (75 years old, Mr. Xu's wife) brought Mr. Xu his clothes, she was held at the detention center by Zhang Qiang, a police officer from the Domestic Security Division of Chengbei District. She was only recently released.

Mr. Guo Daoyou from Funing County was illegally sentenced to five years of imprisonment. His wife, Ms. Wang Yonghua was sentenced to three and a half years of imprisonment. They were sent to Shijiazhuang City.

12. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Weiwei Illegally Held at Jilin City Beishan Detention Center and Facing Forced Labor Camp Term

13. [Tianjin] Ms. Qin Fengmei Arrested and Detained at Xianshuigu Nanhuan Road Police Station, Jinnan District

14. [Chongqing] Mr. Lei Bifu Sentenced to Three Years of Imprisonment and Sent to Sanhe Prison of Wanzhou City

Mr. Lei Bifu, in his 40s, was arrested while talking to people about Falun Gong in 2002. To avoid further persecution, he left home for six years. He returned home in September 2008. Eight police officers came and took away his personal belongings on the morning of December 12, 2008. Five additional officers with electric batons went to Mr. Lei's wife's store and beat Mr. Lei. When his wife tried to stop them, the police then beat the wife. Mr. Lei was beaten so badly that his entire body was covered with bruises. The couple was arrested and taken to the Linjiang Town Police Station in Kai County. His wife was released the same night. Mr. Lei is held at the Kai County Detention Center.

15. [Tianjin] Teacher Mr. Wang Shijun Illegally Detained for Over Three Months

Mr. Wang Shijun, 55, a teacher from Nansi Elementary School in Huangzhuang Township, the Wuqing District, was arrested by officers from the Quanxing Road Police Station in Yangcun on July 29, 2009, while he was distributing Falun Gong informational materials at Jiadao Village, Yangcun. Later, police broke into his house and took away Dafa books and a computer. Mr. Wang has been illegally held at the Wuqing Detention Center for three months.

16. [Luchuan County, Guangxi Autonomous Region] Facts about the Persecution of Ms. Pang Fengqing

Ms. Pang Fengqing from Wenquan Town, Luchuan County, was arrested by several officers including Qiu Shuhua, deputy chief of Luchuan County Police Department, and Luo Shengqing, chief of Wenquan Police Station, at noon on October 17, 2009, while she was explaining the facts about Falun Gong at Fengchun Village. That same afternoon, the officers ransacked Ms. Pang's home and took away Dafa books and informational materials.

Ms. Xu Ying from Quanyang Forest Bureau has been sentenced to two years of forced labor. She is at Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp.

18. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Zhang Lei Forced to Leave Home and Recently Arrested

Agents from the Chifeng City Police Department and the Aohanqi Police Department attempted to arrest Ms. Zhang Lei in 2000, but they failed. Ms. Zhang Lei was forced to leave her home. Gong Chuanxing, head of the Domestic Security Division of Aohanqi Police Department, went to her house several times to harass the family. They also attempted to find out where she was. During the past nine years, Ms. Zhang has been forced to stay away from her home to avoid being persecuted. On September 10, 2009, she was arrested in Hangzhou by police from Chifeng.

19. [Chongqing] Ms. Yang Songli Subjected to Two Years of Forced Labor and Was Sent to Chongqing Women's Forced Labor Camp in Shabao

20. [Yibin City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Du Xiangfen and Ms. Zheng Chaofen Arrested

Ms. Du Xiangfen and Ms. Zheng Chaofen from Xunchang Town, Yibin City, were arrested by the 610 Office agents on September 30, 2009. Their house was ransacked as well. They are still being detained.

21. [Zhengding City, Hebei Province] Mr. Ren Shangqian, a Student from Zhengding Middle School, Reported While Clarifying the Truth

Mr. Ren Shangqian, a student from Zhengding Middle School, told people about Falun Gong on October 10, 2009. A student's parent reported him to a teacher named Xing Fei. On the afternoon of October 15, 2009, he was forced by the school to stay home. When Mr. Ren returned to school on October 19, teacher Xing Fei and the school provost, Feng Jinshuang, refused to let him teach his classes.

22. [Longchang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Ye Jianguo Arrested and Taken to Brainwashing Center

Authorities from the Dayanggou Street Residential Committee, along with agents from the Longchang National Security Division, broke into the home f Mr. Ye Jianguo, 54, and ransacked it, on the morning of August 25, 2009. Later, they took Mr. Ye to Neijiang Brainwashing Center. At this time, Mr. Ye has still not been released. Police also arrested Mr. Ye's wife, a non-practitioner.

The same group of people arrested and took Ms. Lei Yinghua to the Neijiang Brainwashing Center last July. Later, they sent her to Nanmusi Forced Labor Camp in Zizhong for three years.

23. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Mr. Yin Chengyun Arrested

Mr. Yin Chengyun, 68, was arrested by more than 10 police officers from the Liaocheng National Security Division at his home at 10:00 a.m. on October 14, 2009. Police ransacked the house and took away four MP3s, a VCD, a notebook computer, a laser printer, two photos of Master, an incense burner ,and over 20 Dafa books. Mr. Zhang Shuping, who was visiting Mr. Yin at the time, also was arrested.

Mr. Yin was sentenced to five years of imprisonment by Dongchangfu District Court in Liaocheng in 2001. His retiree pension benefits were taken away from him.

24. [Tongcheng County, Hubei Province] Police Attempting to Sentence Mr. Zhou Wangliang

Ms. Li Yanhong, Mr. Liu Zhengyang, Mr. Jin Zuxin, and Mr. Zhou Wangliang were arrested by Li Yingcan, a police officer from the County Domestic Security Division, on July 17, 2009. It has been over three months now and Mr. Zhou is still being held at the detention center. An attempt was made to sentence him. He is currently on a hunger strike to protest the persecution.

25. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Liu Hengyi, Mr. Li Zhi, and Ms. Yang Ya Arrested

Mr. Liu Hengyi, Mr. Li Zhi, and Ms. Yang Ya were arrested by police from the Jinniu District and the National Security Division of Chengdu City on October 14, 2009. Their whereabouts are currently unknown.

26. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Officers from Xinbin County Police Department Attempted to Have Mr. Wang Xiaoming Dismissed from Work

The persecution carried out by the Xinbin County Police Department against Mr. Wang Xiaoming has gone on since1999: from holding him in the detention center to later detaining him at a forced labor camp and taking him to Luotaishanzhuang Brainwashing Center. At this time personnel from the Xinbin County Police Department are attempting to illegally have Mr. Wang Xiaoming fired from his job.

27. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ten Practitioners Arrested by Personnel from the Domestic Security Division

Police from the Fushun City Domestic Security Division, Wanghua Domestic Security Division, and the Wanghua District Police Stations arrested Mr. Huang Peidong, Ms. Wang Guilan, Mr. Fu Mingjie, Mr. Ren Changxue, Mr. Qiao Kefu, and Ms. Zhu Huimin at 6:00 a.m. on September 19, 2009. Mr. Huang was arrested after the police put on black masks. His personal belongings were taken away. Mr. Jin's child, Jin Shilong, was also arrested. Mr. Zhang, who has a tofu business, was arrested as well. Mr. Xia Hailong, who works for a police department, was arrested. Currently, Mr. Jin Shilong as well as nine other practitioners are being held at the Nangou Detention Center in Fushun City.

29. [Xianning City, Hubei Province] Mr. Huang Bin Arrested

Mr. Huang Bin from the Xianan District in Xianning City was secretly arrested by personnel from the Xianan District 610 Office and the National Security Division on October 14, 2009. His whereabouts are currently unknown.

30. [Meihekou City, Jilin Province] Mr. Han Liushan Illegally Sent to Forced Labor Camp

Mr. Han Liushan was arrested by officers from the Tonghua Police Department, Meihekou City Police Department, the National Security Division, and the Hongmei Town Police Station on September 30, 2009. He was sent to Jiutai City Forced Labor Camp for one and a half years.

Mr. Han's wife is severely ill and needs her husband's constant care. Now that Mr. Han has been detained in the forced labor camp for one and a half years, his wife has lost her eyesight due to the severe stress and worry.
