(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Chen Shaodong was sent to a brainwashing facility by officers from the Yanta Police Station. His legs were beaten severely. He was sentenced to three years in a forced labor camp. Mr. Chen Shaodong has elderly parents and young children at home. A happy home was torn apart by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Mr. Chen Shaodong is a kind young man who works at Dongfeng Instrument Factory. Over the past ten years of persecution, he has been sent to a forced labor camp and brainwashing centers.
In the weeks leading up to October 1, 2009, the CCP frantically arrested Dafa practitioners. Several practitioners were arrested and taken to a brainwashing center in the Chang'an Workers' Sanatorium, Xi'an City to be brutally persecuted. On September 9, 2009, Mr. Chen Shaodong was taken away by a group of people led by Yan Meiming from the Changyanbao Police Station in Yanta District. They ransacked his home. Police took away two computers, two cell phones, four thousand yuan in cash and other personal property.
Mr. Chen Shaodong was taken to the brainwashing center at the Chang'an Workers' Sanatorium. His legs were beaten and broken there.
Staff members of the CCP claimed that they had found Falun Gong materials in Chen Shaodong's home and then sentenced Mr. Chen to three years in a forced labor camp. Later, at his wife's request, they allowed Mr. Chen to be released for medical treatment. However, the staff members refused to release him, with the excuse that he had not been "transformed" and had not written the guarantee letter to renounce Falun Gong. They also threatened Mr. Chen and his family, saying that they would not release him unless he wrote the guarantee letter. In addition, they pressured Mr. Chen Shaodong's work unit to dismiss him.
At present, Mr. Chen's elderly mother has illnesses and cannot take care of her day-to-day needs. She needs her son to take care of her, but he cannot, due to the CCP's persecution.
