(Clearwisdom.net) I started practicing Falun Dafa in April 1999, three months before the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started persecuting practitioners. In the past ten years, with our benevolent Master's protection and encouragement I was able to catch up on the path of cultivation, overcoming numerous difficulties and breaking through the evil barriers, firmly walking on the path of assisting Master in the Fa-rectification and on the path of saving sentient beings.

After July 20, 1999, the communist regime attempted to frame and slander Falun Gong with its propaganda. In order to petition the CCP regime to stop persecuting Falun Gong and help those deluded by the lies to understand the truth, during the five months before I was illegally arrested, I wrote by hand more than 1300 letters, totaling more than 4000 pages, exposing the prime culprit Jiang Zemin for persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. The letters were mailed to the intermediate and supreme courts, the municipal Party committees, the supreme Procuratorate, the Ministry of Public Security, and also to each level of the CCP's agencies.

After the police began to track and attempt to arrest me, I became financially destitute and was forced to leave home. I left and lived in a village in the countryside where there were no practitioners. I kept explaining the facts about the persecution to the villagers and started a group practice site there. We read the Fa and did the exercises every night.

On January 4, 2002, at midnight, more than a dozen police officers broke into my residence in the dark using flashlights. They pulled me out of my bed and arrested me. I was handcuffed and taken to a detention center. There were two police vehicles with their sirens blaring. I was later subjected to two years of forced labor and suffered much misery and humiliation.

Because I personally experienced and witnessed the brutal persecution against Falun Gong practitioners at the forced labor camp, five years ago, after I came to Japan, I chose to expose the lies to the Chinese people by making phone calls to China. I wanted to do my best to rescue the practitioners who were still being persecuted. Thinking about the many practitioners still suffering persecution in prisons and labor camps, just as I had, I did not wish to wait even a moment. When I made phone calls to China to stop the persecution, I advised people to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations, gave them the hot line numbers for withdrawing, and also gave them a website to break through the Internet blockade.

Among the people whom I have called and urged to withdraw from the CCP are police department heads, deputy heads of the 610 Office, a party secretary of the political and legislation committee who was also the head of a 610 Office, the director of an eduction department, school principals, police, village party secretaries, and many people who were deceived by the CCP's television broadcasts. Some had before even reported Falun Gong practitioners to the authorities. After these people understood the truth, not only did they withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations, they also agreed to persuade their family members to withdraw when they returned home.

Actually, when I first started making phone calls I was somewhat afraid and all kinds of everyday people's mentalities came forth. I worried that the wicked police would curse me out, worried that I would not be able to answer their questions, and so on. I even had thoughts of wishing that the person I was dialing would not to pick up the phone. In order to break through all the barriers, I redoubled my efforts to study the Fa, because only the Fa can break through all of one's attachments. After I let go of ordinary people's notions, I realized that it was the evil that was afraid, because they were the ones doing bad things. We should righteously ask them to release Falun Gong practitioners immediately. Then I picked up the phone and started dialing. I persuaded one after another to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations and this made me more confident. This way, in the process of cultivation through making phone calls I got rid of the mentalities of being afraid and lazy, and many other attachments.

A phone call on September 23 went well. I called the head of a village in Heilongjiang Province. As soon as he heard me say, "How do you do?" he was somewhat startled and immediately said, "I did not report to the authorities. It was not me. It was because she went door to door and asked the people to withdraw from the CCP." I smiled and said gently, "Falun Gong practitioners clarify the truth and advise people to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations to save people out of compassion. Since you did not report her to the authorities, we have no intention of blaming you."

I felt him let go of his defensive mentality. I then explained to him why practitioners go door to door and take so many risks and why people should withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. When he still did not fully understand, I gave him some examples. After several questions and answers, he finally understood the truth thoroughly. He then said anxiously, "Please help me and my wife to withdraw from the Young Pioneers quickly. I can guarantee that she will listen to me." I helped them to withdraw from the Young Pioneers. He then said happily, "Thank you. What can I do for Falun Gong? I want to join Falun Gong. Can I help the people around me to withdraw?"

I gave him information on the website to break through the Internet blockade and three phone numbers for withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Because he was the head of the village, he said he could ask all his friends and relatives to withdraw. If his friends and relatives also asked their friends and relatives to withdraw, the effect would be great.

Making phone calls to China is like being on the front lines, facing the police and directly urging the CCP to stop the persecution and saving those police officers that do not know the truth. It can also rescue fellow practitioners so that they can go out and tell the facts again. Making phone calls furthermore frightens the evil.

I usually study the Fa before I make phone calls and I send righteous thoughts to eliminate all the evil entities and elements behind the people I plan to call. Generally, every day I start making phone calls after sending righteous thoughts at noon and end before the time for sending righteous thoughts in the evening. I often examine myself for any omissions in my truth clarification and make notes for special cases.

I can keep calm when I'm being slandered and verbally abused, and maintain a peaceful mind to keep telling the person the facts. One time I called the head of a political and legislation committee who was also the head of Hunan Province 610 Office. He started slandering Falun Gong as soon as he picked up the phone. I kept sending righteous thoughts and calmly told him, "Please be reasonable. Stop your slandering." He stopped his foul words right away and listened as I explained the truth. He finally said in a low voice, "I beg you, don't call me again, OK?" I seriously told him, "OK, but you must release Falun Gong practitioners." He said, "OK, I can consider this request." Then I told him, "We are waiting."

In the process of making phone calls, Master gives me wisdom. Many times when a life was saved, after I hung up the phone I was moved to tears by the compassion I had during the phone conversation--the compassion I could only have with Master's strengthening. Those officials in the CCP's systems are also looking for the truth in order to be saved. Several days ago, I called Mr. Zhang, the political head of a district police department. He kept saying while listening to me, "Yes, yes, you are right." When I talked about how more than 60 million people have withdrawn from the CCP and its affiliated organizations, he became very nervous. I knew he was waiting eagerly for me to give him the hot line phone number to withdraw from the CCP, but I wanted him to first release practitioners. I told him, "You must release Falun Gong practitioners first. Heaven and earth will not tolerate the crime of persecuting cultivators." When I told him the hot line phone number, he recorded the number and loudly read it back to me, to make sure it was correct.

At that moment, I thought about Master's compassion, saving all people, even including people such as this who had been led astray by the CCP's lies. I tearfully told him, "In the future when you see that you have been saved, all you need to remember is that Falun Gong has saved you. Have hope while you are releasing Falun Gong practitioners. Also help your family to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations in order to save their lives. Please remember to keep the thought, 'Falun Dafa is good.'" At that moment, I felt that he truly understood, and he kept saying, "Thank you, thank you." I knew that he had positioned himself well.

After he had listened to me explain the facts to him for an extended time, the head of a local 610 Office asked me to help him to withdraw from the CCP right away. He said, "Although this is our first phone conversation, it seems that I know you." I said very seriously, "From now on, don't persecute Falun Gong anymore. It's OK that you have this position as your job. But what you do in this position is what's critical. Since we have this predestined relationship and you are calling me 'Elder Sister,' then in the future I may some day call you and ask you how you are doing." He agreed.

I made a phone call to a police station in Heilongjiang Province. One young policeman, after quietly listening to me, asked me to help him to withdraw from the Young Pioneers immediately. He also asked for the hot line phone number. I talked to him about advising his family members to withdraw quickly and answered his questions.

I once called the son of the governor of a province in the north. He was the head of the local police in charge of persecuting Falun Gong. That night it happened that he was on duty. He asked me, "How do you know that I am on duty?" I said, "I didn't know. Maybe this is predestined." I told him that Falun Gong is widely practiced in more than 100 countries and that Jiang, Luo and other head evils have been been sued in the courts overseas in 33 countries for genocide and libel. Many Chinese people are withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. After answering some of his questions I asked him, "Are Falun Gong practitioners good people?" He said resolutely, "Yes, they are truly good people." I said, "Then treat Falun Gong practitioners kindly and release them unconditionally. You should know what to do." He said, "Yes, thanks."

After picking up the phone, the head of a brainwashing center listened quietly. Soon he said something in a low voice that I could not hear clearly (probably someone else was also in the office). I thought he probably already understood the truth and wanted to withdraw from the CCP. I said immediately, "If you are in your office and if it is not convenient for you to speak, if you want to withdraw from the CCP I can help you. You can indicate 'yes' by making a sound." Then I asked, "Do you want to withdraw from the CCP?" He tapped on the phone and made a sound. I then said, "Do you want to withdraw from the Youth League and the Young Pioneers?" He made the sound again, and I heard him gently exhale. I told him, "From now on, you must treat Falun Gong practitioners kindly, and release them quickly. Persecuting Falun Gong will create enormous karma."

Another time I dialed the number for the head of a police department. After the other side picked up the phone, he said, "You dialed the wrong number." I thought it was probably because the switchboard connected to a wrong line. However, I said, "How are you? I didn't dial the wrong number. You are the one I wanted to talk to." He listened to me quietly. Through the phone I heard many people talking nearby. I then realized that I had made a phone call to a work site. I told him happily, "Understanding the truth is most fortunate. Now there are more than 60 million people who have withdrawn from the CCP and its affiliated organizations already. You should also withdraw quickly to save you life." The person on the line said, "We don't know how to withdraw, but we hate the CCP very much, very much." I then heard him shout, "Falun Dafa is good!" and the people around him also shouted twice, "Falun Dafa is good!" At the end he asked for the hot line number for withdrawing and said that he wanted to call to withdraw using his real name. They all kept thanking me and I ended the call among their good wishes.

One day, I called a young female judge who was going to open a court session to sentence six practitioners. After the call went through, I said in a gentle voice, "How are you? It has been exposed in the international media to the world that you are once again the judge appointed to sentence six Falun Gong practitioners. Did you know that? Don't you feel deeply that you are creating karma for yourself once again? I think that you were originally a person with high aspirations and wanted to punish the evil and reward the kind. But now the evil CCP has deceived you and is using you to unlawfully send these good people who cultivate Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to prison. Think about it. By sentencing these innocent people to prison, how can you face your own conscience? When the truth about Falun Gong is revealed to the world in the future, how can you face your mother and father who raised you?"

She had been listening very quietly, and suddenly started sobbing. Her conscience was awakened. I continued telling her, "Actually, I originally lived in the same city you live in. I was illegally arrested and detained twice." With tears I told her, "Do you know how many children have became orphans because their parents were sentenced to prison or persecuted to death for practicing Falun Gong?" She was shocked and kept on crying. I advised her to treasure lives and to withdraw from the CCP quickly, with the condition to treat Falun Gong practitioners kindly. Half an hour later we finished the phone call.

I don't speak Mandarin well and have an accent. Once a female 610 Office head, after hanging up on me several times, ridiculed my spoken Mandarin. I felt I needed to improve my Mandarin. I said to her, "Yes, I am nearly 60 and have already retired. My Mandarin isn't good and I will do my best to improve. But today I called you from my heart, hoping you can understand the truth." I heard her say in low voice, "Oh" and then she quietly listened to me. After listening for more than a dozen minutes, she kept saying, "I know now. Thank you, thank you......."

Everyday, as I held the phone talking to those senior officials who work for the CCP, Master led me step by step and encouraged me to hold powerful righteous thought all the time, and helped me to become more and more mature.

A new director of the 610 Office of Jiaohe City, Jilin Province, started cursing as soon as he picked up the phone. After I called him a dozen times, he still kept mumbling after picking up the phone. I said to him gently, "Before even listening to what I have to say, you already started cursing. That is not nice. Today we called you and it's for your sake. We do not have any bad intentions. Today we are calling you only to save you."

By then he was totally different from what he was like a moment before. I continued, "From now on, you should not curse anymore when Falun Gong practitioners call you. They only have your best interests in mind." He said, "Thank you very much. I also know that you are looking out for me." He said, "You mentioned about the persecution. Did you see the persecution? Were you persecuted?" I told him that I was seriously persecuted. He was frightened and stated over and over, "I never persecuted anybody." When I talked about the big current of Chinese people withdrawing from the CCP, he became scared and hung up.

There was a justice official from Chenxi County, Hunan Province. After he understood the truth, he asked me to help him withdraw from the CCP immediately. He suddenly started berating the CCP. I was surprised that even this senior official had such hatred for the CCP. I listened quietly to his venting and finally understood that his daughter had been taken into custody because of a birth control related issue. I gave him the hot-line phone number for withdrawing from the CCP, hoping he could ask his family to all withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

In the process of making phone calls, we meet all kinds of people. Therefore, keeping righteous thoughts at all times is very important. When encountering ferocious people, we should bring our compassionate nature forward to disintegrate the evil factors. Every statement Falun Gong practitioners make is powerful and can eliminate the bad things.

Through the phone calls I found more than 20 of my elementary school classmates. After they understood the truth, they and their family members withdrew from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. One of my childhood classmates excitedly said to me, "I finally found you. I was looking for you even in my dreams."

Fellow practitioners, the effect of explaining the facts through phone calls is beyond estimation. Don't be afraid, just pick up the phone. I only have an elementary school education because my generation was forced to go through the Cultural Revolution. After I came to Japan, I changed from not knowing anything about computers to sitting in front of a computer most of each day, explaining the truth about the persecution using a computer. No difficulties can stop us, because we are Master's disciples and we have the title of Falun Dafa disciples; we came with the mission to save people. If you regard making phone calls as a high wall blocking you, it will be difficult to break through. But if you regard making phone call the same as breaking through a layer of paper, then you can get through it easily. We originally came here to follow our compassionate Master, and with heavenly courage we came to the three realms. So why are we even afraid of making the phone calls that scare the evil?
