(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 10 provinces. In this report, 25 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 13 practitioners were illegally arrested.

Thirty-year-old Ms. Xiao Mei has stayed away from home, moving from place to place for some time. She went missing on the afternoon of December 6, 2009 when she went out to speak with people about Falun Gong and the persecution.
2. [Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Shuzhen Arrested
Elderly practitioner Ms. Wang Shuzhen from Long Town, Wudalianchi City was reported and arrested on December 12, 2009. She is now held in the Wudalianchi City Detention Center.

3. [Lingqiu County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Liu Ping Held in the Lingqiu County Detention Center
Elderly practitioner Ms. Liu Ping from Lingqiu County was arrested for talking with people about Falun Gong and the persecution on September 25, 2009. Lingqiu County Police Department officials sentenced her to two years of forced labor without trial in November 2009. She was sent to the Shanxi Province Women's Forced Labor Camp, but the camp authorities refused to accept her because of her old age. She was transported back to the Lingqiu County Detention Center.
4. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Changyu Arrested in Beijing
Ms. Wang Changyu from the Dongli District traveled to Beijing to visit her mother on December 4, 2009. Beijing Railway Police Department officers arrested her as she spoke with people about Falun Gong and the persecution on the train.
5. [Jingmen City, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Zhongxiu Held in Custody
Ms. Li Zhongxiu, in her sixties, from Jingmen City, was arrested for talking to people about Falun Gong and the persecution. The arrest happened a week ago [around December 8, 2009]. She is now in the Huyaguan Detention Center.
6. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Tian Yunrong Persecuted at the Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Tian Yunrong from Changchun City was sent to the Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp on August 26, 2008 for a one-year term. Though a year has already passed, she has not been released.
Ms. Tian was forced to do intensive hard labor on February 13-17, 2009. She demanded unconditional release several times. Ms. Tian's health has not completely recovered from the ill treatment, but deputy division head Jin Lihua forced her to work. If she refused, her term would be extended by ten days every month. The extension of her labor camp term began in October. Her family went to the labor camp many times to try to meet with No. 4 Division leaders, but the officers avoided meeting them.

7. [Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Ji Baoshan Held in the Hulan Prison
Mr. Ji Baoshan from Fangzheng County was arrested at home in January 2009 and was sentenced to five years in prison. He is now held in the Hulan Prison in Harbin City. Mr. Ji has been grossly abused under persecution at the Intensive Training Team beginning in June. He has symptoms of tuberculosis, severe edema and is unable to stand straight. He is being treated at the prison hospital.
8. [Anqiu City, Shandong Province] Jiage Police Station Officers Take Ms. Zhang Guihong and Ms. Yang Shuhua into Custody on the Morning of December 15, 2009
9. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Yuhuan and Her Son Mr. Ding Meng Arrested
Seven officers from the Weicheng Domestic Security Division and from the Xiguan Police Station broke into Ms. Wang Yuhuan's home at 6:40 a.m. on December 15, 2009. They took Ms. Wang and her son Mr. Ding Meng into custody and confiscated Falun Gong books, a picture of Master Li, informational materials about Falun Gong, and copies of Minghui Weekly.
10. [Beijing] Additional Information Regarding the Arrest of Ms. Chu Zhengxia
Huixinli Police Station officers arrested Ms. Chu Zhengxia from Beijing between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on December 10, 2009, after she was off work. Ms. Chu is being held in the Chaoyang District Detention Center in Beijing. Officers from the Xiaoguan Community and from the police station ransacked her home.
11. [Huangchuan County, Henan Province] Ms. Yang Dehua Given Three-Year Prison Term in Shanghai--Belated Information
Ms. Yang Dehua from Pengdian Township held a part time job in Shanghai in 2007. Shanghai Police Department Qingpu Sub-Station officials put her under surveillance on December 22, 2007 for distributing information about Falun Gong. Officers from the Qingpu Substation took her into custody on December 25, 2007, and officially arrested her on January 14, 2008. Qingpu District Court officials sentenced her to three years in prison on May 8, 2008.
12. [Beijing] Ms. Gu Xinhua's Masanjia Forced Labor Camp Term Arbitrarily Extended
Ms. Gu Xinhua from the Xicheng District was incarcerated in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in 2008. She is supposed to be released on December 24, 2009. When she was found writing an experience sharing article last month [in November], guard Zhai Yanhui and others beat her so violently that her eyes were swollen and her face was deformed. She was also forced to admit her "mistake" and had her term extended by one month.
13. [Xiangtan County, Hunan Province] Mr. Zhao Wenke and Mr. Zhao Jianrao Arrested
Officers from the Shebufei Police Station in Jinshi Township took Mr. Zhao Wenke and Mr. Zhao Jianrao into custody at the Qilipu Detention Center and ransacked their homes. They also took informational materials about Falun Gong and two MP3 players.

14. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Zhimin Persecuted
After Ms. Li Zhimin was arrested, officers from the Qiqihar City Railway Police Department duped her husband and son into going to the police department with an excuse of delivering clothes and daily necessities for her. The police interrogated them in two separate rooms for two hours and released them. Ms. Li's husband's high blood pressure recurred; her mother, in her eighties, cries all day long for missing her daughter.
15. [Hubei Province] Ms. Huang Jing and Three Others Persecuted
Four practitioners are still held in the Wuhan No. 1 Detention Center in Erzhigou, the Dongxi Lake area. One is 50-year-old Ms. Huang Jing, the other Ms. Zhang Chunlan from the Wuchang District.
16. [Wuning, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Wang Liming and Ms. Liu Qin Subjected to Forced Labor
Mr. Wang Liming and Ms. Liu Qin were sentenced to one year and two years of forced labor, respectively. Ms. Liu has been sent to a forced labor camp. Mr. Wang will serve the sentence outside the labor camp.
17. [Shouguang, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Qiuhua Arrested
Ms. Liu Qiuhua from Xinzhuang Village, Jianqiao Township was arrested at 5:00 p.m. on December 14, 2009. The police took all Falun Gong books and about six MP3 players.
18. [Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Li Xueqing Held in a Detention Center
Xi'an City 610 Office agents arrested Ms. Li Xueqing from Xi'an City on August 3, 2009. They sent her to the Chang'an County Brainwashing Center. Her salary has been withheld since then.
A month later, on September 3, 2009, Weiyang District Domestic Security Division officers Yuan Quan'an and Li Shu'an went to Ms. Li's home to harass her daughter and her husband, who is in his late seventies.
Ms. Li was transported from the brainwashing center back to the Weiyang District Detention Center on December 6, 2009.

19. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Shuang and Others Arrested
Ms. Li Shuang, in her forties, is an employee of a company near Taipingqiao, the Daowai District. She and another practitioner were arrested on the evening of December 14, 2009.
20. [Shifang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yang Zhenru Detained for Two Weeks
Ms. Yang Zhenru was arrested on November 18, 2009, and held in custody for two weeks. She returned home on December 3, 2009.
21. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Sun Shuping and Ms. Zhou Liping Held in Custody
Ms. Sun Shuping from Lushun City was arrested on December 6, 2009, for talking with people about Falun Gong and the persecution. She is now held in Dalian City Police Department Reeducation Center in the Ganjingzi District, where many women practitioners are detained.
In addition, Minzhuqiao Police Station officers arrested Ms. Zhou Liping from Lushun City recently for informing people about the persecution. She is now held in custody in Dalian City.
22. [Beijing] Eight Practitioners Transferred to Xidayingzi Forced Labor Camp in Liaoning Province
Eight practitioners were transferred from Beijing to the Xidayingzi Forced Labor Camp in Chaoyang City on November 19, 2009. They include Mr. Xing Lixin from Pingquan County, Hebei Province, Mr. Li Lian from Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, Mr. Liu Wen from Haizhou City, Hebei Province, Mr. Hu Qinggui from Zhijiang City, Hubei Province, Mr. Liu Qinglai from Hulin City, Heilongjiang Province, and Mr. Wang Fangfu, Mr. Zhang Xiaodong, Ms. Zhang Xiaodong, and Mr. Jiang Chunlin.
