(Clearwisdom.net) From the reports published on the Minghui website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom), Dafa practitioners are still being persecuted - kidnapped and tortured every day. I am deeply grieved over the suffering of our fellow practitioners. I would like to share my experience of rejecting persecution by the old forces.

I had also been persecuted by the old forces. Through studying the Fa, we know that the old forces take advantage of practitioners' loopholes in three areas - practitioners' attachments, their lack of good understanding of the Fa or their karma. I concluded that the main reason for me is that I lacked understanding of the Fa and my human notions had not changed. Secondly, I have had attachments for a long time and failed to rectify myself. Particularly my attachment of lust and my deviated language and actions could easily become an excuse for for the old forces to persecute me. As for karma, I think that karma alone can hardly be used as an excuse for the old force's persecution. Here I want to focus on some of the deviated notions the old forces can take advantage of.

For example, in the past my family and friends had threatened me in order to keep me from going out to validate Dafa. They said, "Do you want to go to prison again?" I either kept silent or said, "What evidence do they have for arresting me?" As a result, I was arrested when I was using the Internet in an Internet cafe. The police videotaped me to serve as "evidence." The informational materials I had with me was also "evidence." Later when I gave a DVD clarifying the truth of Dafa to my friends, they told me to watch out because this could serve as "evidence." But I said that it was the "magic weapon for saving sentient beings." I was actually safe. In fact, it is the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) that violates the law and commits crimes. What we do is legal and our materials are also legal. If you have to say "evidence," it only can be the "criminal evidence of the CCP" that committed the crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity and torture. Dafa practitioners' clarifying the truth and saving sentient beings is not only legal, but also is the most sacred and compassionate act in the universe. It should be greatly rewarded, not penalized. The old forces and the CCP persecuting Dafa is the real crime and should be punished. This is my current understanding.

This is to say that those deviated thoughts and ideas led us to fall into the arrangement and persecution by the old forces. "Of course, we have said that one gets into trouble because one's own values and mind are not correct or righteous." (Zhuan Falun). I have a better understanding now. Master told us in Zhuan Falun there are two reasons that would cause trouble. One is that "one's own values are not righteous" and another is that ones "mind is not correct". Even when our heart is righteous, we still need to rectify those deviated thoughts hidden subconsciously so that the old forces will not be able to exploit the loopholes. There is no shortcut in solving problems in these two aspects. The only way is to study the Fa more and study the Fa well. "The Fa can break all attachments, the Fa can destroy all evil, the Fa can shatter all lies, and the Fa can strengthen righteous thoughts." (from "Drive Out Interference," Essentials for Further Advancement II.) In addition, we need to read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and Disintegrate the Party Culture to completely eliminate various deviated notions. This will help us to reach a better understanding of the Fa.
