(Clearwisdom.net) In recent years, police around the country have been arresting practitioners during group Fa-study. Since August 2008, there had been three such cases in our area. One of them involved the arrest of 13 practitioners, causing very negative effects to the Fa-rectification efforts in our area. Group Fa-study is a cultivation form that Master established for us. This cultivation form has played a crucial role in our personal cultivation as well as improving as a whole body. Participating in a group Fa-study is a very sacred thing, as it also paves the road for future practitioners. That being the case, why have practitioners been repeatedly arrested by police during group Fa-study?

I believe that the arrests took place due to our treatment of it as a formality. These groups of practitioners shared one common characteristic: studying the Fa but not cultivating their hearts, and treating group Fa-study as a formality. Even when they saw serious problems in some practitioners, they were reluctant to point them out, and even condoned them. They attended the group Fa-study sessions just for enjoyment, treating them as a shelter from their human attachments. Their thinking was entirely contrary to the fundamental goal of group Fa-study.

For example, a coordinator from one of these Fa-study groups had a smoking and drinking problem. This clearly deviated from the standard of Dafa and cultivation, and he didn't quit smoking and drinking even the day before he was arrested. Another coordinator had a "relationship" problem, and it was said that he wanted to divorce his wife the day before his arrest. Nevertheless, other practitioners turned blind eyes to these problems. Although a few practitioners had pointed out these problems, it wasn't done from the standpoint of the Fa, thus allowing the problems to persist for a long period of time, until they became too difficult to resolve.

Although group Fa-study sessions were held on a regular basis, practitioners didn't take the Fa into their hearts. Group Fa-study should be a sacred thing. If we treat it as a formality, not only are we wasting our precious time, which can be better used to save sentient beings, but we are also not respecting the cultivation form that Master left us, nor are we paving the road for future cultivators. The evil thus used this loophole as a pretext to persecute us.

In "To the Australia Fa Conference," Master said:

"In order for Dafa disciples to walk their paths well and do the three things well, they must study the Fa well and take Fa-study seriously."

We must cherish the cultivation form that Master has left us and take group Fa-study seriously, while not treating it as a formality. When studying the Fa, we must take it to our hearts, ensuring that our main consciousnesses are absorbing what we study. Cultivating our hearts should be the top priority. If we see that some practitioners have serious problems, we should compassionately point them out using the principles of Dafa, while taking the opportunity to look within and see where we fall short. If every practitioner acts this way, then there will be no unsolvable problems. Only in this way can group Fa-study achieve the goal of our holistic improvement as one-body.
