(Clearwisdom.net) (By a Clearwisdom correspondent in Heilongjiang Province) Ms. Sun Dexiang, a Falun Gong practitioner from Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province, was taken from her home by the local police and detained. The police have recently attempted to sentence Ms. Sun to prison. On November 25, 2009, Ms Sun's family hired two lawyers, Li Changming and Li Jinglin, to defend her. They went to court to inquire about the case, but were told that it had been rejected by the Procuratorate.

Ms. Sun Dexiang, 50 years old, is a resident of the Fifth District, Yichun City. On July 25, 2009, five or six police officers, including Zhang Yinle, Jiao Yongjun, and Wang Yinggui, entered Ms. Sun's house and illegally arrested her. They took away her computer, salary card and other personal belongings.

Ms. Sun was taken to a detention center in the Fifth District. In order to find legal grounds to sentence her, police officers headed by Zhang Yinle made up false documents and used torture to extort a confession out of her. They didn't allow her to sleep for four days. They demanded to know who taught her to use the computer and printer, but Ms. Sun refused to answer them.

Ms. Sun's family went to the police station to see her, but they were refused entry. On September 16, the police lied to the family and told them, "Sun Dexiang will be sent to Wumahe Detention Center." In fact, she was secretly transferred to a detention center in Yichun City.

When Ms. Sun's family went to Yichun City to ask the police her whereabouts, they were told, "This case doesn't belong to us. It has been delivered to the Provincial Public Security Department and Procuratorate."

Ms. Sun's family know that she is innocent and has never broken any laws. Therefore, they hired two lawyers to defend her. On November 25, her family and their lawyers, along with eight or nine other people, went to the court to inquire about the case. The court officers said that they hadn't received the case, so they went to the Procuratorate. There they were told that the procurator had not accepted the case. They then went to the Legal Division of the Public Security Bureau.
