After July 20, 1999, the evil old forces utilized those who no longer had any conscience to do evil and perpetrated the most heinous crimes ever committed in human history, using more vicious methods than ever employed, from ancient to modern times. They visited upon Falun Dafa and its practitioners, inside and outside of China, the most inhuman and brutal persecution ever seen in any historical period.
I often asked myself, why are so many practitioners suffering injustice and misery? Could it be their inexorable fate, or is it the road they must walk on? On the other hand, there are many practitioners that escaped. I wondered if they were lucky or simply not meant to suffer this tribulation. These questions filled my mind for some time, without finding an answer. Then I cleared my mind, calmed down, and read all of Teacher's lectures and new articles three times. After that, I calmly read practitioners' articles on "Minghui Weekly,"detailing their difficult journey through this inhuman persecution. I next read practitioners' experience sharing articles of battling the evil and escaping the den of evildoers with righteous thoughts. My mind gradually became clear. The Fa principles revealed themselves, and I gradually understood a lot. Finally, my mind and eyes opened to greater levels of understanding.
I began to make inroads in my understanding and realized that, no matter how heinous and wicked the evil, dark minions and rotten ghosts, they can only commit evil against humans, but dare not have the smallest evil thoughts towards gods. Gods are lives created by Dafa. Who dares to commit crimes against Dafa? Dafa will send them to the gate of no-life. Therefore, no life dares to touch gods.
After reading the second part of Lecture Six in Zhuan Falun, where Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, Lao Zi and Buddha Amitabha tested the practitioner in Wuhan, I was disturbed.
We learn Teacher's Fa. We walk on the path arranged by Teacher. What does it have to do with these Buddhas, Taos, and gods? Whether we do well or not, Teacher takes care of us. Why do you dare to test him? I have enlightened to principles of the particular level where there are these Fa truths. Because this Wuhan practitioner held divine thoughts, remained in a divine state, and was not moved by human sentiment or lust, the test had no effect on him. They had to admit that he was teachable. If he had been in an ordinary people's state, then the consequences would be hard to imagine. No wonder millions of practitioners are firm in their hearts, transcend ordinary ways of life, do things requested by Teacher well, scare the evil, and leave the evildoers at a loss despite the nine years of bloody persecution. The evil can't damage Dafa's practitioners, because practitioners have divine thoughts, and are in a state of godhood at all times.
One elderly practitioner goes to different markets on different days to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa and the heinous persecution. He takes every possible opportunity to speak to people about Falun Dafa and advises them to resign from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Youth League, and Young Pioneers. He has successfully had many people withdraw from the Party. Members of three Party branches collectively quit the CCP. This scared the head of the local Politics and Judiciary Committee, so they decided to send this practitioner to a "brainwashing center." They wanted to arrest him. This practitioner did not hide. The heads of the township and village suggested that he be careful. He told them, "I am a good person and do not violate any laws. Who dares to touch me? I will wait for them at home." As a result, when the out-of-town people came to arrest him, they asked about him at the township government. They were told that this person was extraordinary and that people in the area support him. They told them not to provoke the people in this area. The out-of-towners turned around and left.
Another practitioner's husband was sentenced to one year and six months of forced labor. She recognized that she was on the path arranged by Teacher, and that a Dafa practitioner follows the universal principles Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and is an unconquerable god, so how could everyday people persecute her or her husband? She went to the prison to request his release. She spoke to them from within the Fa. The guards got scared and called the local police. The police sentenced her to three years of forced labor. This practitioner was fearless in prison. She and other practitioners unraveled a woolen sweater. Then they took a quilt cover and used the sweater yarn to embroider the words "Falun Dafa is good" on it. They hung it up in the prison. The guards panicked, and tied and hung her up. After a while, the guards got scared because she had no pain and slept, snoring loudly. The guards thought, "Isn't this person the same as monk Ji Gong? She has divine powers. If we provoke her anger, and she uses her divine power on us, what will happen?" So they quickly took her down and untied her. She had lost consciousness. They took her to a hospital. The doctor said that she would live at the most another four to five days. They quickly took her home. She was released after ten months instead of three years.
Having divine thoughts and maintaining a divine state come from diligent cultivation. But how? Teacher said in Hong Yin:
Salvation Far and Wide
Lay down your human, mundane mind,
The Fa gained, you now stand divineThe Fa principles tell us to get rid of human notions, discard human principles, and constantly assimilate to Dafa, so that one may become a god. As students of Teacher, as long as we behave like genuine practitioners, get rid of everyday people's notions, live by the principles of Dafa, and address any complicated situation from within the Fa, we will be truly divine and the evil will not dare to persecute us.
One practitioner was sentenced to one year and six months at Chongqing Women's Forced Labor Camp. The torture and harassment in this labor camp is extremely cruel. Many practitioners have been "transformed" in that place. When she was there, her heart was tranquil like water. She felt nothing special, only that the cultivation environment had changed. She had more physical pain, but got rid of many human notions. When the guards tortured her, she ignored it. She refused to attend brainwashing sessions. When the prisoners showed a brainwashing video, she pulled out the plug. She refused to do anything. Whenever she walked out of the cell, she shouted: "Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!" The guards dared not let her out, and they all feared her. They finally released her and dared not ask her to sign any statement.
There are many cases like that. No matter what factor caused tribulations or for what reason the practitioners were in a particular predicament, as long as they gave up humanness, held divine thoughts, and maintained a divine state, evil dared not touch them.
They can only persecute humans and not gods. This is the manifestation of Teacher's Fa power!
