Henan Women's Forced Labor Camp Establishes "Small Cells" to Torture Practitioners

Feb. 27, 2009

(Clearwisdom.net) The Third Division at Shibalihe Women's Forced Labor Camp in Hennan Province is a facility that was established for mistreating practitioners. On February 3, 2009, the Third Division established seven small cells to be used specifically for brainwashing practitioners. Each cell holds one practitioner. The head of the labor camp, wardens, and guards are responsible for the brainwashing. Two drug addict inmates are assigned to monitor and torture each practitioner. The practitioners are forced to sit on small narrow stools from early morning until midnight for one month. If practitioners refuse to give up their belief, they are transferred to the Xinxiang Women's Prison in Henan Province.

Practitioners who have been brainwashed like this are not allowed to talk to each other or have Fa study of practice the exercises. They are instead forced to study Primal Chaos Fan Dance and Five-beasts Fight in order to deceive visitors and the public.

To more effectively brainwash them, the practitioners are divided into "small, middle and super categories." Every Tuesday and Thursday in the brainwashing sessions, the practitioners are forced to read articles attacking Teacher and Dafa, as well as to watch videos. After dinner everyone must hold up her fist in an oath, saying, "I firmly break with Falun Gong" and must mention their own name. They have to do "homework" once a week, write a report once a month, and write a summary every three months. The contents of the summaries and reports must cover everything, including articles cursing Dafa's Teacher and Dafa and breaking away from Dafa. One of the session leaders there said, "The homework decides the length of your term."

The sessions mainly force the practitioners to do labor and attempt to brainwash them. No conversations are allowed between two people, or with people from other classes. If the practitioners refuse to give up their beliefs, they are monitored by two drug addict inmates, are not allowed to talk to others, and are placed in total isolation. This is done to try to break the practitioner's will, affect the practitioner's personality, and convince the practitioner to give up her belief.
