"It's beautiful--it's beautiful in emotion. It's beautiful visually! The music ... it's very powerful," she said.
When the reporter asked her what part of the show impressed her the most, she replied, "Well that's a tough call to make. They are all beautiful--they all tell a different piece of the Chinese story and its history and heritage.
"I think "Heaven Awaits Us Despite Persecution" was very powerful, it was one of my favorites."
Ms. Kassel said she was "very appreciative" that she had the opportunity to see the show because "in an interesting way, it's been very inspiring."
Through the show she was able to see that "there is a bigger purpose" in life. "And if you can keep your eye on that prize and on that thing that's bigger than all of us, then everything else is manageable," she said.
She said she encourages everyone to see the show. "If you are looking to learn something about Chinese culture and history and to experience how beautifully and powerfully these arts represent the Chinese people--who they really are as people--you should come."
