(Clearwisdom.net) Shen Yun Performing Arts originally scheduled 37 shows in Taiwan. Due to the high demand for tickets and the upsurge of Shen Yun shows, the organizers decided to add two more shows in Yuanli Changhua County Taiwan. In Taiwan, Shen Yun is known as a "world class, top-grade show," so in four short days, all tickets for the two added shows were sold out. When the waiting list extended longer, the local organizers even discussed if they should pre-sell standing tickets for the last show in Taiwan.

Everyone can feel the energy of Shen Yun from the beginning all way to the end of the show. Whenever a dancer performs a difficult movement, the audience responded with warm applause. When the third program "Dragon Springs Drummers" finished, some audience members cheered loudly, "Bravo!" When the singers finished a song, the audience responded with "One more! One more!" When the singer sang a second song, the audience responded with even louder requests, "One more! One more!"

When the show concluded, the performers responded to several curtain calls as the audience gave them a long standing ovation and were reluctant to leave. Some audience members who walked with canes and crutches also stood up to show their support to Shen Yun.

County Mayor: Shen Yun raises Changhua to the world stage.

According to County Mayor Mr. Zuo Bo-Yuan, it was his honor to have Shen Yun perform in Changhua. "Changhua is a county of art. There are three places that attracted most first-generation immigrants from mainland. Changhua is one of them, and used to be called Lu Gang (Deer Harbor)." Zuo said, "Today, we are so happy to see the high-class performing art company Shen Yun performing here.

"A world famous performing art company coming to Changhua will raise the cultural level of the residents. This is a place of many different art forms. We wish to invite more world-class shows to come and introduce Changhua to the world."

Zuo also expressed his thankfulness. "We appreciate (Shen Yun Performing Arts) bringing such a feast of art and culture to residents of Changhua County."

County Representative: Wishes Shen Yuan Can Perform More Shows

Representative Ms. Hong Li-na felt lucky to see Shen Yun in her hometown. Many people had talked about Shen Yun, but she missed the shows for various reasons. When she finally saw the show tonight, she said it was "breathtaking!"

She said it was because of a pre-destined relationship that she could see Shen Yun. "When Shen Yun was performing in Taichung, I still don't know much about it," she said, "Today I saw the show, and it was a predestined relation." She loved the programs, including "Li Bai," "Dance of the Snow-Capped Mountain" and "Dance of the Yi." "How can I describe them? There are many different feelings. I can't describe the feelings with words!"

Foundation VP: Shen Yun has No Country Boundary

Zan Li-chu was excited after watching the Shen Yun show. She is the vice president of "A Skin-Graft With Love Foundation" for Changhua Christian Hospital. "It is a wise decision to come tonight! Its a great show, really!"

"Shen Yun's chopstick dance and fan dance are different from other shows. They (the dancers) mixed body language into the dance. They bring the audience into the story." She said, "The backdrop is great, and the costumes are very true to the Chinese culture."

Usually, a two-and-a-half hour show would tire people. But Zan felt different tonight. "I felt the two and a half hours passed so quickly! I wish I had the chance to watch Shen Yun again. "

Board Director of Art Center: I was moved!

Mr. Wang Hui-hsiung, board director of the Dun Huang Cave Art Center, watched Shen Yun two years ago. This time, he saw Shen Yun again in Yuanli Changhua County. Being a Buddhism layman, Wang expressed his respect to the integrated art effect of costumes, backdrop and dancers on the stage. Painter: Different harvest and different feelings each time watching the show

Painting artist Mr. Wu Huifeng watched Shen Yun in Taichung and tonight he followed Shen Yun to Changhua. Watching the show for the second time, he is paying more attention to the details. He said, "As for the piece, 'Dancers of the Snow-Capped Mountain', the brown and white-colors conform very well to the backdrop of snowy mountains. It is a very thoughtful design."

Painter Yang: Very active

Mr. Yang Tu-neng is an oil painter, and also does sketches, water color and powder colors. He is also a member of the Canadian Folk Painters Society. "Shen Yun was beyond my expectations!" he said, "The dancing is very good, the color matches very well, and very colorful. The backdrop is well designed. Very good over all."

"(Shen Yun) uses dancing to display the heritage of Chinese culture, it is very active. They must have done deep research on traditions and legends. Otherwise, they couldn't design such a good show."

Former Communist Party People's Representative: Truth is a cure to the sufferings

Ms. Hsu used to be a Chinese traditional medicine doctor and an elected people's representative in mainland China before she married and immigrated to Taiwan. "Nowadays, the economy is bad. People are worried and feel the pain and pressure. Knowing the truth is our hope. It is the best medicine for modern society. For the people suffering in the recession, it is a pain-reliever."

Talking about the dance, "Heaven Awaits Us Despite Persecution," she said it truly displayed the sufferings of Chinese people in China. "It is totally true. It displayed the sufferings of the Chinese people (in mainland China), the oppression, and torture." She said, "It reminds me the cruelty of the Chinese Communist Party, the disasters, the atrocities. I was in tears. (Shen Yun) is calling on us to find the truth to relieve us from the suffering. What can save the world? Knowing the truth can."

With her long experience with the Chinese Communist Party, she was moved by Shen Yun's truth in contrast to the Communist Party's facade. "I was moved. Looking for truth. Truth is the cure for human beings. People have lost their direction in the sufferings. They can't find this objective thing.

"The objective thing is the truth, not just a slogan with beautiful words. Actually, I am a Christian, so I have a belief that I shall experience the sufferings of the earth but its not limited just to myself. I mean, good or evil, right or wrong, we need the truth."
